How can we test that our phone is unlocked after we restore our iPhone? I don't have access to another sim card at the moment. Only my AT&T sim card.

A sure way to check is to connect the phone to iTunes on your computer and click Restore iPhone (not Restore Backup). If the phone is unlocked near the end of the Restore iTunes will display "Congratulations. Your iPhone is unlocked."

At present when calling a CRM transaction (BOR object) via the Nav Bar of the Webclient IC I am getting a message box with the title of 'Message from Webpage' and the content saying 'Object expected'.

I assume that as I also have a call to a URL (website), which is working fine, then the ITS servicer is also working fine.
That just leads me to know identify why my BOR object is not being called correctly.

what's the best way to ensure that 'CRMD_BUS2000115' is a BOR object?. I can run it as a transaction.

How can I verify that I properly "SIM-unlocked" my IPhone 4?

As part of my service plan with Bouygues (France), I got an IPhone 4 which is "SIM-locked" and can not be used with another telephone operator.
After 3 months it is possible to organise the "SIM-unlocking" of the phone, free of charge.
I did so by contacting the customer support and performing the appropriate procedure with ITunes. Everything seems to have gone right, the IPhone 4 is as great a phone as it was before,
my question is simple, how can I verify that the phone is actually unlocked? a menu in the phone for example?

All apps and purchases are linked to your apple ID, so you can't share them across 2 devices that are using different apple id's, it won't work. the purchases that are on your mac at the moment will only work with the apple id they were brought with.
the only thing thats possible to share is purchased music. you have to first covert it to mp3 within itunes, then your bf can import it into his own itunes library and sync with his phone.

Nothing we can do to help you. If it was bought in the UK from an Apple store as unlocked, it is unlocked. If it was bought anywhere else, it will be locked, and only the carrier it is locked to will be able to unlock it.
If you've tried a local SIM and it has not worked, then you have your answer, it is locked.

Basically INDEX works like Pointer in C language. It will point to the addresses of the records which satisfy the field values in the INDEX. So searching for direct address is much easier than searching whole data base.
U can take an example of searching for a person in the company data base. If u give the person name then there may be somany persons with the same name so u have to filter the output as per ur requirement to find the exact person. Rather if u give Employee number then it will directly return single record. INDEX will also works in the exact way.
How to test
Create one sample program to test(Select statements with out using INDEX). First Go to ST05 and on SQL trace, Execute your program, Trace off in ST05 and Analyze ST05.(Data base time, application server time etc).
Now change ur select statements by using INDEX. Do the same thing above. Then u will come to know how effective the INDEX is.
There is another command to know the execution time of the select.
Use GET RUN TIME command before and after execution of some select query with and with out using INDEX. The difference time will be the execution time of that select. In this way also u can analize.

For people who have virus scanners, there is the EICAR file that they can use to test that their virus scanner is working.
While XProtect is not a true virus scanner, I would like to know if there is a file like EICAR for the Mac OS that simulates the same thing. How do I know that it's running while I am browsing the web?

After you got unlock approval from AT&T, you were supposed to backup and restore your iPhone in iTunes. Did you see "Congratulation, your iPhone has been unlocked" message after the restore.
After Restore what does Settings > General > About, Carrier entry say.

Try a SIM from any other carrier (borrow one from a friend).
Contact Apple support and ask them.

You don't need to come to the US to purchase a US iPhone. There are already thousands(estimate based on the daily posts we get here), most likely unused sitting in drawers in India right now. Just run an ad in your local paper...you most likely could purchase one or more cheap. They don't work and are all locked to AT&T, but that shouldn't matter...you'll have your US iPhone, no need to travel anywhere. Once you get it, and it doesn't work, don't bother posting here, we can't help you! .

How can I view the photos contained in a backup without restoring my iPhone?

I've had a new iPhone for a while now, and have recently remembered that I had backed up quite a few photos on iCloud in the past. I can see that my backup takes up a lot of memory through the iCloud app for windows.

If the backup is local (not iCloud) you might be able to using a 3rd party tool.

How can I reinstall Mountain Lion (already bought before) after I restore my MacBook unibody (restores it to snow leopard)?

After restoring to an old time machine backup some of the apps aren't compatible because they require mountain lion but my system got restored to snow leopard. After my car iwas n shop for new battery, I had to reset navigation and radio code. Tried to pair iPhone 3GS (had been paired before car battery failure), but am unable to get it paired. Is there some way I can test phone's bluetooth to determine if the phone has failed or the car's bluetooth is bad?

I have restored iPhone. Same issue, cannot pair with Acura.
I have noticed that when in bluetooth settings, turn on, and the icon for bluetooth appears. When I return to hbome page the icon disappears as if bluetooth were not turned on. I suspect BT is dead.
