HT201335 Having problems with my apple tv connecting to my macbook, iphone 4s and iPad 2. Help Needed!
I've just bought Apple TV and want to mirror whats on my screen on my macbook, iphone 4s and iPad 2 on to my tv screen but it's not working. I can't seem to find the airplay option at all on either of my devices and the logo when it is an option is also not appearing. Any help on this would be great!
Is Airplay enabled on Apple TV? Are all devices up to date?
What model is your computer, mirroring requires it to be 2011 or later. It also needs to be running 10.8
Make sure router is up,to date and check settings.

That means it is having trouble connecting to the network. Make sure location is set correctly. Go to settings - general - network and ensure DNS is set to automatic. Check that your router is up to date. If on wifi try Ethernet.

I'm having problems with my mobile internet connection
I'm having problems with my mobile internet connection. Wifi works fine. It seems like my connection get lost every tuesday and friday between 11 and 12 am local time (guess it would be between 2 and 3 am Los angeles time for example). The connection won't comeback by itself. I have to turn the phone, iPhone 4s iOS 5.0.1, off and back on again. The connection immediatly works fine after the restart and stays fine for days. I really don't know what to do. My provider doesn't seem to know either. Tried a lot of things, new settings, resets, I even got a new iPhone. Still the same problem however. Richt now I changes the time setting to see it the problem occurs at another time. Btw: the phone doesn't say "no service" and I can send sms messages and make phonecalls. The 3G symbol or the circular symbol is shown next to the name of the provider.
Does somebody has an idea what this might be? Thanks a lot.Update. My carrier says the antenna of my iPhone 4s is not so good as the one in the iPhone 3G. They can't solve the problem. Their signal is too weak for the 4s at places I spend most of my time. Not the answer I expected, but I'm free to choose an other carrier. Hope this will help.

I'm having problems with install version 11.1.4. If I uninstall and reinstall will I lose all my downloaded music?
Hi, so did I. It seems to be a huge problem with everyone. I opened a folder on desktop and called it target. I copied all my songs into that folder.
I uninstalled Itunes completely. Rebooted. Then I installed a fresh install.
I then dragged all the songs back to Itunes and it worked. I hope that helps.
I read an article the other day and apple is suppose to come out with some genius fix for this problem, it really seems to be global.

I'm having trouble with my Apple ID. I changed my email account, and recently (a month ago) and since I switched is requested every time I open any app to Apple ID password to the old email. How can I solve this? Could it be that my iPhone 4S is in sync with my Ipod???
If you updated your existing account then try logging out of it on the iPhone by tapping on the id in Settings > iTunes & App Stores and then log back in and see if that 'refreshes' the account on the iPhone. If you created a new account then any content that you purchased/downloaded via the old account will remain tied to that old account, and only that old account can download updates to its apps.

Hi, Ive just got myself a Macbook Pro, and Im having problems with sound on movie files. The format is wmv and they play OK on a windows 7 laptop, and Im trying to play them now on the MAC. The picture is OK , but no sound. I have Flip4Mac - no diference

Has anyone started having trouble with google calendar syncing / showing up on their iPhone 4s or iPad 2? As of today it no longer shows up. Thanks.
Let me re-qualify my issue. Under my Google Calendar account I have the main calendar I originally set up when setting up my account. I then set up several other calendars under this same account such as events, work, family and so on. All the calendars showed up on my iPhone and iPad with no problem and worked great for a year and a half now until yesterday. My main calendar does still show up but the others no longer appear on my devices. Going on line to look at my Google calendar/calendars everything is fine with all of them. Any thoughts as to why they no longer show up on my iPhone or iPad? Thanks again.

I have an iTunes account set up long ago on my home pc. My pc at home is antiquated and I can't interface with my account to edit acc. Info. Now I have other devices, iPhone 4 and iPad. I need to reset email apple Id and pw from iPad. How? Should I just create new account? Don't want to lose 1500 songs.

My old e-mail addresses at Yahoo and Hotmail were hacked and I had to close those accounts. I have gone on Apple and changed my Apple ID e-mail address but I can't get the old address off of my Macbook, iPhone 6 and iPad 2. Does anyone know how I can do this?
On your Mac's iTunes log out of the old version of your account via the Store > Sign Out menu option - that will then change to a Store > Sign In option so that you can sign back in with the updated version of your account to 'refresh' the account on it.
On your iPhone and iPad tap on your id in Settings > iTunes & App Store and tap 'sign out' on the popup and then log back in with the updated version. If using the same account for the cloud then Settings > iCloud > Sign Out and log back in -

Safari & Firefox having problems with the Apple Store
Hi there,
I'm having issues using the Apple Store I'd really appreciate some help with. Whenever I go there, whether I'm using Firefox or Safari, I always get a pop-up menu come down, even when I haven't clicked on anything. And it won't go away, so I can't see alot of the stuff on the site, making it unusable. It's best described by a screen shot:

The box on the right comes up without me clicking on anything, the activity wheel at the top of it never changes into anything (just keeps spinning round) and there is no 'close' or 'cancel' button to make it go away. If you look at the bottom of the pop-up, you can see it doesn't even render properly.
I called the Apple Store number about this and he said to clear all my private data. I have done that in Safari, as it's not my main browser so doesn't matter to me. In Firefox I have only partially done this; I cleared all cookies, the cache, browsing history, download history, saved form information and authenticated sessions. Neither worked to make the pop-up box go away. I could not face clearing saved passwords or saved sessions (with my Tab Mix Plus add-on) in Firefox, so I'm going to try anything else I can think of to solve this before resorting to that.
I'm guessing this is some problem in the overall system, rather than in either of the browsers, given that they both do it. Would something like Onyx or Cocktail help?
Also, both my browsers are quite old; Firefox is 1.5.0.6 and Safari is 2.0.4... I don't know if that has anything to do with it, but I'm hoping not. With alot of plug-ins and an already overloaded computer, I'd rather not update to the more processor-intensive new versions. I want a new computer soon, so I'm hoping I can put-off updating til then.
So if anyone can tell me what to do, I'd be most grateful. I really need to use the Apple Store to look into what Mac to get to upgrade, and right now I just can't shop properly.

I have problems with the wi-fi connection after upgrading my iPhone to iOS 5- why?
Since upgrading the software on my iPhone 4 to iOS5, I have had all sorts of wi-fi connection problems.
The wireless router I have always used is now usually not detected by my iPhone. It still works on my MacBook and iPad, but not on my iPhone. When it is detected, the connection lasts for a few minutes before cutting out. The signal is also very low.
I have tried the following:
-Restarting the router
-Restarting my iPhone
-Resetting my network settings
-Restoring to factory defaults
-Forgetting the network
-Rejoining the network
-Setting up the connection manually
-Turning off location services on my iPhone (I read in another thread this would help)
I am running out of ideas and I have tried researching this. I found many people with the same problem but no solution for my problem yet.
Does anyone have any ideas, or know whether Apple is planning on fixing this anytime soon? It's a huge disappointment.I tried this! Somebody suggested it in another thread. It did not work, sadly.

application cannot start error. After I open Photoshop this message keeps popping up. The application CS5.5ServiceManager.exe was unable to start correctly (0x0150002). This is a trial version that I downloaded today. Running Windows7 Home Premium
