HT201335 how get airplay icon showing up

I have AirTv connected to corporate Wifi AP and an Ipad connected to the same network but the AirPlay icon do not show up on control center. Do we have a setting to turn on to get it?
The network allow P2P connections. I have a PC connected on the network and I can ping both devices.
Does anyone have an idea what I should look to get the system working?

Using your example and not modifying it, I get the e-mail form filled out correctly and the pdf attached, however, I'm not prompted to sign it.

I found it by accident too on ipad 3 after a software update, before the update I only had to double click the home button to bring up the control menu.
In landscape mode, use any finger and starting from the outside margin/border of your ipad, anywhere along its length, just roll your finger in upwards direction to reveal the control menu - the icon for airplay will obviously only show once you have other devices to connect to , ie ATV etc

This issue is with Netflix upgrade. I spoke to Netflix and here is the solution. Remove Netflix app from Ipad and reload the app version 5.0.1. This updated version will correct the problem.

I am trying to airplay off of my iPhone 4S. Airplay worked twice about a month ago but now it doesn't work at all and on my iPhone I don't have the icon. I'm connected to the same internet network as the Apple TV and when I let it go idle , the screen suggests that I do airplay and connect to my internet(which I am) and choose "Apple TV"(which is the name of my Apple TV) and no airplay icons show on my iPhone or my iPad or any other apple device in the house.

Airplay mirror imaging icon will not show up on my macbook pro even though i downloaded mountain lion. How do i get airplay icon to appear on my macbook pro?

i have a macbook pro (almost positive that its a 2010 version) and i got mountain lion. The BIGGEST AND MAIN REASON i bought mountain lion was so that i can do airplay, allowing me to mirror image what is on my mac to my Apple TV. my whole computer is updated as far as the displays and newer features but the small airplay icon will not show up on the top of my screen. therefore, not allowing me to mirror image what is on my mac to my tv... it is connected to the same wifi as my apple tv. idk what to do. could it be because my macbook pro is a 2010? desprately looking for help...please help me with this issue

I brought my Apple TV, iPad, and iPhone to a hotel with me. Although they are all connected to the same wi-if network at the hotel, I do it see the AirPlay icon on either device. How can I mirror my iPad to Apple TV using AirPlay when I am away from my home network? I am attempting to watch a movie that for some reason is not showing up in my purchased movies to watch directly via Apple TV, but is on my iPad.

Welcome to the Apple Community.
Try the following steps, check whether things are working after each step where appropriate, before trying the next.
Check AirPlay is turned on on the Apple TV (turn it off and on if it already is)
Check that both devices are on the same network (Settings > Wifi, on the mobile device and Settings > General > Network, on the Apple TV).
Restart the Apple TV (Settings > General > Restart).
Restart the Apple TV by removing ALL the cables for 30 seconds.
Restart your router. (Also try removing it’s power cord for at least 30 seconds)
Restart your mobile device.

My Apple TV AirPlay icon disappears off my iPad and I don't know how to get it back. I have done all the suggestions on the site. Once I found it in my photos but now I don't know where to find it.

It should be in the Music app (iBooks is for written books) - when you have audiobooks on an iPad you will get an Audiobooks option under the More button at the bottom of the Music app.
Note that audiobooks are currently a one-time only download from the store (so they won't appear in the Purchased tab for re-downloading), so you may want to copy it to your computer's iTunes via File > Devices > Transfer Purchases so that you can take a backup copy of it - it should copy over to the Books part of your iTunes library (Audiobooks if using a Mac with Mavericks or Yosemite on it).

No AIRPLAY icon shows on the phone's MUSIC app

I have the 4S and use the Zeppelin Air.
The iTunes Music app on the phone does not show the airplay icon in order to chose which player you want to use.
I have to use the DJAY 2, or Beo Player app in order to use any other Bowers & Wilkins airplay device around.

That's because the AirPlay button has moved to the Command Center.
Swipe up from the bottom and you'll see the AirPlay button on the right. Just above the the Calculator and Camera icons.

I have third party Airfoil. When I select Itunes as source, all three sources are available and connected and working. I tried the basics (reseting/restarting everything) but I still get this error message. It all work fine with earlier versions of Itunes 10. Any thoughts?
