So I'm wondering if there is a way for me to reclaim the songs that I've purchased because--well, because I've purchased them and I really do not want to pay for them again. If anyone has a legit answer, I'd really appreciate it if you posted a response!

Here's a short and simple on the legit way since I actually had this happen to me as well.
Open iTunes, and go to the store. At the top right corner should be your iTunes login name (or "Log In"). Either way, click it and it will ask you to log in.
Once you log in (or re login), you should be brought to your account. Somewhere in the middle is an option to view purchase history. Click that.
Once it's open, it should pull up all your purchases (grouped somehow...I think by day?). Find the purchases you're looking for. And click the arrow to pull up the order (for multiple orders, you're going to do this a couple times).
The order should pull up with ALL purchases associated with that order. At the bottom is a button to report a problem.
When you click it, all items should now show a link that says "Report a Problem". For each item, click the link.
A new page will display with a drop down menu and a comments box. Pick the option "I didn't Receive this Song" and note that it was purchased with an iPod Touch that was unable to transfer to back to iTunes. Submit, and repeat for all SONGS.
For all your apps, find the apps you need to download, and iTunes will automatically allow free redownloads, which means you DON'T need to report a problem. When you finished reporting the problem, check your email box because you'll be spammed by the Apple Auto-Responses that an Apple Associate will take care of the problem. In several hours (or overnight), you'll receive a response from said Apple Associate (it will say the same thing all the time, practically automated) apologizing for you not receiving the songs. They will credit your account and you can "repurchase" that song (since you will technically receive a "gift card" on your account of 1.29 per song). That should solve your problem.

Hi! Has anyone figured out how to get AT&T to respond? When my uverse was set up, the guys that came out "forgot" to bring our instruction book and a guide to the channels. They said they were sorry and would have the package sent out to us later. Well, it never came. So, I called. The AT& T person on the phone said they'd send a package out. Never did. I called again several weeks later. Again, they promised to send it out. They didn't . A month passed, I called again. Same thing .... a promise that never materialized. Four times I was promised a guide to the tv and the channels.... nothing!! I am so frustrated. How do I get it??? Don't they realize that this is bad business. As soon as the year contract ends, I am leaving. Meanwhile, when the subject comes up with friends in conversation or in my neighborhood listserve, I tell people what happened. At least two families that were leaning towards changing to AT&T changed their minds after hearing my experiences. I am so frustrated! I have to literally go through hundreds of channels everytime I look for a program or want to tape something. It's ridiculous!

Sorry, gary. I don't know what you're talking about when you say "I read the secure page in 2010". Feel free to elaborate if you wish but do not expect a response. It's not my interest to explain to you how to do something but I do feel obligated to tell others that what you're telling them is not completely safe. Please understand that I have in fact informed you of the vulnerabilities of your insecure script for as long as we have corresponded, even after the "security" amendment to your page, which is nothing more than a copy of someone else's work of which you unfortunately did not completely understand. No surprise there though given your frequent ignorance of the subject in the messages we have exchanged. Yep, that's basically what I told you over a year ago. I know that some have been using your email script to inject mail through the headers for sometime now. No one is sending you emails through your contact form anyway since the spry validation is broken, so injection of your server script is the only way to send emails from your contact page for users who have javascript enabled anyway. Perhaps you will now realize that your suggestions may be hurting others rather than helping them, opposite of what my posts regularly achieve. I look forward to your cognitive posts from now on with eagerness and openness to actually learn the methods that others are continuously trying to educate you on so that you will not continue to misinform others as you have been doing for as long as I can remember, which is longer than a year mind you. Syncing the phone automatically backs up all of that. When you plug in the new iPhone 3G, it will ask if you want to restore from a backup.

You can get a taskbar toolbar by right clicking anywhere on your taskbar. Select toolbars and put a check mark next to iTunes. Then, in iTunes Preferences: iTunes > Edit > Preferences > Advanced Make sure the box Minimize iTunes to the System Tray is UNCHECKED.
Now when you minimize iTunes you'll get the toolbar.

If they are in a supported format then you can add them to your computer's iTunes and then sync them over to the iPad - the video formats that are suppored by the iPad are (from http://www.apple.com/ipad/specs/) :
Video formats supported: H.264 video up to 720p, 30 frames per second, Main Profile level 3.1 with AAC-LC audio up to 160 Kbps, 48kHz, stereo audio in .m4v, .mp4, and .mov file formats; MPEG-4 video, up to 2.5 Mbps, 640 by 480 pixels, 30 frames per second, Simple Profile with AAC-LC audio up to 160 Kbps per channel, 48kHz, stereo audio in .m4v, .mp4, and .mov file formats; Motion JPEG (M-JPEG) up to 35 Mbps, 1280 by 720 pixels, 30 frames per second, audio in ulaw, PCM stereo audio in .avi file format
If you can't get them into iTunes then you can probably use something such as Handbrake (http://handbrake.fr) to convert them. If you can get them into iTunes but not onto the iPad (not all formats that are supported by iTunes are supported by the iPad), then Advanced > Create iPad Version in iTunes might create a version that can then be synced to the iPad.

Do you mean that newly purchased music is only showing in the Purchased playlist, and not the main Music playlist? If so, this an occasional weird indexing error that can be usually be fixed by downloading the current iTunes Free Single of the Week. (Don't ask why, but apparently it works).

The title of your post isn't the same as the post, so I'm a bit confused. If you want to see the numbers being texted by phones on your account, log into your on-line MyVerizon account (assuming you are the Account Owner and logged in as such) and click the blue Usage Details. Select the appropriate line at the top of the page (if applicable) and then under the table showing text usage, click the blue View Messaging Details. However, texts sent/received via iMessage won't show up since they don't go through Verizon's system.
If you want texts sent to your e-mail, you should be able to forward them. If it's another phone on your account that you're wanting those texts sent to your e-mail, there may be an app for that, but I'm not sure. With Androids, you can get apps that back up text messages and then forward them to your e-mail; I don't know if there's a similar iPhone app or not.

How do you get auto fill to use the right E-mail address?

My address book card has multiple E-mail addresses on it. Yet when I want to use auto fill to fill out a form, 100% of the time it's just one address I want to use. The problem is safari always uses only one of the addresses and it's not the one I want to use. Is there a way to change which address (or any other field) from your address card is used in auto fill?

Since you don't say how many email addresses you have on your own card or which of them it's picking, I'll assume it's choosing the first one in the list. If that's correct and it's not the one you want, you need to change the order of addresses to make the one you want be the first one in the list.
Other than that, you cannot set a default item for any field.

Now that I up graded to 10.8.3 I no longer have an adrees book in my email. Is there anyway to put one back in the mail? I hate the fact that it's not there as when I forwarded a message I preferred to go down my contact list and select different contacts

Thanks for the reply. After I typed this question I saw an old post for an older operating system that worked for the 10.8.3. After I opened a new mail I went to the customize toolbar and drug the address icon to the new mail. It worked for that email so I thought O.K. let's see if it will work on the next email....it did and is still working.
I don't know why people at Apple fix something that ain't broke.

You have to use outlook in order to integrate contacs with PC, since that is the only program that syncs with cloud. Or you can use a "poor man's" version, by accessing those contacts over www.icloud.com website and managing there.
