HT201342 I cant sync my Mac Outlook 2011 Calendar with my iPhone 5. Please help!

I have a MacProBook running OS X, I use MS Office and since I "accepted" .me email with iCloud my Outlook 2011 calendars won't sync using iTunes into my iPhone 5.
I have also lost a whole year of Outlook Calendars, and I desperately need them! I've tried the MS Identities etc. to no avail.
Can someone be so kind and help me please?
Is there a new version of iCloud for Mac?
Thanks so much!
Pat

Contacts (the app) supports Dav, it has to because iCloud Contacts are Dav. Just add your CardDav account to your Mac in System Preferences>Internet Accounts and select Contacts.
FYI
iCloud Calendars are CalDav, iCloud Contacts are CardDav, and the mail is Imap.

Does anyone know how to sync my Mac Book Pro with my iphone 4s?  TY!

Depending your OS, you can do it through iCloud, through iTunes 'info' tab when your device is connected. You can do it through an email account if that's what calendar is set up to use.

Send Apple feedback. They won't answer, but at least will know there is a problem. If enough people send feedback, it may get the problem solved sooner.

  • Problem syncing my IPhone 5S to Mac Outlook 2011 calendars and contacts

I have an IPhone 5S running on OS7.  While I have read many having same problems, I am still at a lost as to how to sync with Outlook 2011 on my Mac.  Previously there was a tab beside summary on ITunes that I could specify my sync preferences.  Now, no such tab..
Could someone guide me through the process so that I can again sync my Phone with my Calendars and Contacts on the Mac.
Another issues is that I cant seem to sync the same Calendars and Contacts to ICal and Contacts for Mac.
    Thank you

    Hi Wogified!,
I have an article for you that may help you understand why this message is popping up:
iTunes 11 for Mac: Syncing overview

You can sync iPod touch, iPhone, and iPad with only one iTunes library at a time. You can sync other iPod models (besides iPod touch) with multiple iTunes libraries by choosing manual syncing.

  • Trouble syncing MS Outlook 2011 calendar with iPod touch

I use MS Outlook 2011 on my iMac for email, contacts and calendar. The Outlook calendar is syncing fine with iCal, which I know it has to do first since the iPod & iCloud will not sync directly with Outlook (go figure, MS & Apple still haven't figured that **** out!) It seems like every since I updated to the latest version of iTunes and iOS 6.0.1 on my iPod touch, the calendar is no longer syncing properly? I've checked all the settings in iTunes and on my iPod itself and there doesn't seem to be any reason why its not syncing? Do I need to update the iOS to 6.0.2? Or is there some other little hidden setting I've missed?

    @ Sambal:
My OSX is 10.7.5 Lion. I just gave up and decided to go back to Mac mail, iCal and contacts. I'm guessing the issue has something to do with the way iCal handles sync data from Outlook? Or perhaps the other way around? I did 2-seperate tests where I created a calendar event in Outlook and iCal. On the Outlook test, it synced to iCal, but wouldn't get pushed to my iPod touch calendar? (running iOS 6.0.1)
On the iCal test, it pushed the new event to my iPod within seconds! Also, when I created a calendar event directly on my iPod, that too would sync back to iCal within seconds as well. But not back to the Outlook calendar. It still amazes me that even today MS and Apple still have issues like this? I don't mind using Mac's programs, I just don't like how they have them all as 3-seperate running programs.
I prefer Outlook's all-in-one interface. I think Apple's software engineers need to do a complete makeover!

  • Synching Mac Outlook 2011 Calendar and Contacts

I recently 1) moved from a PC to a Mac Book, 2) installed Outlook 2011 (as part of Office for Mac) and 3) imported my PC .pst file into Outlook to get my calendar, contacts and emails.  While this worked, I have a huge problem in that I can not find a way to synch my Outlook for Mac Calendar and Contacts with my Macbook, iphone or ipad.  Is there anyone else that has this problem or a solution???

I have the same issue.  I have rebuilt the identity identity in Outlook 2011 and at least got a ONE TIME sync between Outlook and iCal but Itunes and Outlook 2011 for Mac will not sync.

  • Mac outlook 2011 users with Exchange 2013 cu5

Hi all, I had a strange issue that came up after I reconfigured our receive connector in exch2013.
I have Exch2013 with Cu5 and a 2010 sp3. In order to fight spam I needed to reconfigure a new connector that's a bit locked down compared to the default frontend that's open to all remote networks, so in the new connector under
the scope settings I put our internal network ip and disabled the default frontend connector that was created during install. Since our exch2010 box is the main server that sends in and out, and has better antispam features, this is where all emails went
through and got routed to the 2013 box.
After restarting services, all was working including iphones and androids, except for Macs with outlook 2011, they were suddenly not able to connect to the exch2013 box after the changes. I looked at the transport logs but I couldn't see
anything showing why these users were not connecting, event viewer as well. It did block a lot of spam from getting through, but I had to revert back to the default front end connector just to get the Mac outlook users working again, has anyone seen
this before, or any other settings I might have missed. If anyone can get me some ideas or pointers, I'd greatly appreciate.
    Thanks in advanced.
    Carlo

    Hi,
I suggest try to re-create MAC 2011 user profile for testing.
Find a related KB for Exchange Online (even if it isn't for Exchange on-premises, please try it.) for your reference:

  • Cant Sync Mac Desktop Software with Mac Outlook 2011

    Hi,
I cant Sync Mac Desktop Software with Mac Outlook 2011, Calendar and Contacts etc.
The sync button is not highlighted on the BB Mac Desktop Software therefore it can't be clicked.
I have turned on sync in Outlook in Preferences under Sync Services.
In the BB Deskstop Software, when i click on the Calendar function, it says "There are no writable Calendars available for syncing on this computer. The Contacts section says "sync services is currently turned off on this Mac"
I have updated both the Deskstop software and Mac Outlook to the latest updates.
    Regards.

Hi and Welcome to the Community!
First off, you must have installed one of the compatible Desktop Organizer apps:
KB12268Applications supported by BlackBerry Desktop Software for Windows for synchronization
Attempting to use anything NOT on that list will, of course, fail.
Secondly, you must have not have Outlook installed as "Click To Run":
KB24040 Support for Microsoft Office 2010 Click-to-Run installation
If you have it installed in that manner, you must correct that.
I have no idea how your prior machine was configured, but I know 100% that you can synchronize to a Win7X64 Laptop with Outlook 2010...I do it all the time.
    Good luck!

  • How to sync outlook 2007 calendar with Iphone 4?

How do I sync my outlook 2007 calendar with my iphone 4? It used to happen, now it won't work. Thank you.

    Howdy there Connie,
If your Outlook 2007 is still not syncing to your phone I would like to recommend the following article to help you troubleshoot the Sync Services between your the two devices, named:
Troubleshooting Sync Services on Windows with Microsoft Outlook 2003, Outlook 2007, or Outlook 2010
First backup your data, THEN proceed with the articles troubleshooting step by step until it is resolved:
    Back up your data
Refer to this Microsoft article for steps to back up the data in your PST file used by Microsoft Outlook 2003 or Microsoft Outlook 2007. This Microsoft article explains where the Microsoft Outlook 2010 data files are located.
For information about backing up the data in your OST file, contact your Exchange Administrator. Your OST file should be on the server and backed up when the server is backed up.
Before troubleshooting, it is recommended that you make a copy of your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch backup in a safe place. For more information about where to find the backup and what information it contains, refer to About backups.
Thank you for using Apple Support Communities.
    Cheers,
    Sterling

  • I have an iMac with 10.9.1 and an iPhone 5 also updated to the newest system and I cannot get a sync set up between Ical and the iPhone or Outlook 2011 mac calendar with the iphone

I have an iMac with 10.9.1 and an iPhone 5 also updated to the newest system and I cannot get a sync set up between Ical and the iPhone or Outlook 2011 mac calendar with the iphone. I would perfer using outlook but will settle for the Imac calendar

It depends on what iMac you have. If it is an old PPC (G4 orG5) iMac then no further upgrades are possible. If it an Intel iMac:
Start by checking if you can run Snow Leopard:
Requirements for OS X 10.6 'Snow Leopard'
    http://support.apple.com/kb/SP575
(NB: PowerPC applications can still be run in Snow Leopard using Rosetta, but they will not work in later versions of OS X.)
The OS 10.6 Snow Leopard install DVD is available for $19.99 from the Apple Store:
    http://store.apple.com/us/product/MC573/mac-os-x-106-snow-leopard
    and in the UK:
    http://store.apple.com/uk/product/MC573/mac-os-x-106-snow-leopard
When you have installed it, run Software Update to download and install the latest updates for Snow Leopard to bring it up to 10.6.8, or download the combo update from here:
    http://support.apple.com/kb/DL1399
Check via Software Update whether any further updates are required, particularly to iTunes.
You should now see the App Store icon in iTunes, and you now need to set up your account:
    http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4479
You can now upgrade to Mavericks OS 10.9 for free IF you have one of the following Macs, with not less than 2GB of RAM, and at least 8GB of available space on your hard drive:
    iMac (Mid-2007 or later)
MacBook (13-inch Aluminum, Late 2008), (13-inch, Early 2009 or later)
    MacBook Pro (13-inch, Mid-2009 or later), (15-inch, Mid/Late 2007 or later), (17-inch, Late 2007 or later)
MacBook Air (Late 2008 or later)
Mac Mini (Early 2009 or later)
Mac Pro (Early 2008 or later)
    Xserve (Early 2009)
    iCloud system requirements:
    http://support.apple.com/kb/ht4759
If you cannot run Mavericks you can purchase the code to use to download Lion from the App Store (Lion requires an Intel-based Mac with a Core 2 Duo, i3, i5, i7 or Xeon processor and 2GB of RAM, running the latest version of Snow Leopard):
    http://store.apple.com/us/product/D6106Z/A/os-x-lion
    or Mountain Lion:

He's not using Entourage 2004 or 2008. He's using Outlook 2011, which, at this time only syncs contacts to Apple Mail/iTunes.

  • Schedule for Outlook 2011 calendar sync?

    Hi
Has anyone seen a schedule for Outlook 2011 to sync calendars with iPhone?
If you were thinking of getting the version of Office for MAC that has Outlook 2011 you might want to hold off for while.
It seems Microsoft left it that bit out...
thanks for any scuttlebut on this...

I'm having the same issues. Can't sync iphone with Outlook 2011 calendars nor can I sync with google calendar. I switched from ical and apple mail because Outlook offers a better user experience. But not being able to synch with mobile me or iphone is crippling. When will they fix this?
