  • I have been charged twice for an app that I downloaded - does anyone know how to complain as they dont answer their phone after half an hour of waiting

I have been charged twice for an app that I downloaded - TOM TOM Traffic  does anyone know how to complain as they dont answer their phone after half an hour of waiting and the website is useless to try and find contact details
The Chat on line guy was hopeless too

thanks. yes i am aware of the VoiceOver feature but it is NOT the solution to my problem. as you said, it is a solution to a different set of issues. i want the text to speech ability because i there are books i need to read but do not have the time to sit down and read them and have become used to listening to them read to me either by a professional human reader or with the text to speech software on the Kindle.
I think Apple makes the best audio devices but i am really disappointed in this inexplainable shortcoming. if apple can give us siri they ought to be able to design a nice little button that i can push to turn on text to speech while i am in a document, book, magazine or webpage. clearly it is possible as apple has added the "reader" button in safari to have web pages dropped into the reader format.
thanks for your suggestion though, it is what everyone suggests but it does not address the issue.

  • I got charged twice for an app that froze & disappeared

I bought an app called Interior Design_floor plans & decorating ideas by pengfei zheng. It froze when I tried to look at the demo plan on the app so tried reloading it. Completely disappeared so I went back to the App Store and when I clicked on it to see if it would let me reload and it charged me again. So now I've paid twice for an app that first froze then wouldn't reload after it charged me again. No reviews came up until after I clicked to reload it again, if there were any that showed up I wouldn't have bought it at all. How can I get my money back? The app is crap and the reviews I read said the same.
Also clicked on app support and it took me to a website called livejournal which says "this journal has been deleted and purged.

    The following may help: http://www.imore.com/how-request-refund-itunes-or-app-store-purchase

  • TS1424 I have been Charged twice for an app

I was charged twice for an app- iPad and iPhone. Anyone know how to get one credited?

Report to Apple and they should be able to provide the credit.  In iTunes under the Store menu, select View Account.  There you should find a selection for Purchase History.  Find the item and select the arrow tab next to it where you will find a selection to Report a Problem.  From my experience Apple will get back to you within 24-hours or less.

  • HT1933 i was charged twice for a "in app purchase" how can i fix this?

i wanted to take advantage of the Fitstar June sale event, so i went ahead and purchased the "get lean" program which was $7.99 coming out to be $8.65 with tax. Today i noticed that i was charged twice for the exact same app. How can i fix this?

Contact the iTunes Store staff, or the application's creator, or if the purchase was charged to a credit card, dispute the charge.

I was charged twice for the same app how do I get a refund/credit?

You will need to contact iTunes Support. You can try the 'report a problem' link from your purchase history : log into your account on your computer's iTunes via the Store > View Account menu option and you should then see a Purchase History section with a 'see all' link to the right of it ; click on that and you should see a list of your purchases ; find that app and use the 'Report a Problem' link and fill in details about the problem (iTunes support should reply within, I think, about 24 hours).
If the 'report a problem' link doesn't work (it's been taking some people to this site on a browser instead of showing a form in iTunes) then you can try contacting iTunes support via this page : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/- click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page.
