Is it possible to get a refund if my son bought an app that did not work for him? He was planning to play on two apple devices but it seems like the iPad is a different version.

All sales are final.
Some apps are universal (noted by the +), the others are specific to the iphone/ipod or ipad.

How do I get a refund on an alligators? I downloaded a free Daytona application. Ive gone to play the game and you have option on what l want to play ( ie normal, kids version, baby, deluxe etc) clicked on "deluxe play" it came up ( thinking it was free) it then came up "do you want to purchase the deluxe pack" as I have gone to click cancel an advertisement popped up over the top, so I've clicked to close the pop up and it's over the buy button. So now I've been charged $159.99 straight to my credit card, a purchase I DID NOT and DO NOT WANT!!! This is so ridiculous, the fact that they put pop up adverts that sometimes you have to click the screen to "skip". I do not want to deluxe pack , I would like my money back. If I did want to keep it, I can't play it anyways because it never installed or updated the application. Can someone PLEASE HELP ME get my $159.99 back. I have no removed my credit card details for iTunes/ store so this can never happen again. Solo annoyed and upset!! Grr

I have never asked for a refund of any type once i purchase an app. Regardless if I do not like it or not. YET, this app is not working properly on my iphone, nor inconjunction with my Macbook. I am asking if there is any way you could please refund my money to my debit card on file for the purchase of this application. I downloaded the software I needed for my MacBook Air and it still does not work. My stystem crashed and I had to uninstall or delete the software on my computer and on my phone. Can you please help me?

How are you trying to listen to it ? You shouldn't need to be online to listen to it, I don't for any of mine. If you've downloaded it directly on your iPad (or synced it from your computer) then it should be in the Music app (you will get an Audiobooks option under the More button in the Music app when you have audiobooks on it) - is that where you are trying to listen to it ?

Apple direct to the developer and the developer says its Apple!!! Have I been ripped off?
Can anyone help get a refund. So far I have been trying for 3 days now and its not obvious how to get your money back. I will not name the App/product here but most purchasers are looking how to get a refund from Apple or the Developer.

Thanks Dah - Veed, this basically confirms that when you have created a balance on your account, spend and get a really substandard product that should not have been released you loose. In every country in the world shoppers have rights..... maybe Apple do not like customers 'rights'
I wonder how I would go about getting by Apple Account balance refunded and move away from the very restrictive Apple 'process'.

Those are most likely authorization holds and they will eventually fall off the account without charging you any money.
