Why was I charged twice for songs already purchased

Did you re-download them via the main part of the store or the Purchased tab (re-downloading) ? You can contact iTunes support via this page : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ - click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page, then Purchases, Billing & Redemption

  • Why was I charged for premium when I canceled before my free trial was up.

Why was I charged for premium when I canceled before my free trial was up. It shows I have the free version in my prayers file yet I was charged almost 13 dollars. I do NOT want premium and I shouldn't have been charged for it

Hello & welcome to the Community!
You say you've been charged almost 13 dollars right?
It seems like you are subscribed to Spotify through the in-app payments.
Your subscription is being handled by Apple.
You'll need to cancel directly from the App Store in order to stop getting charged monthly.
Just follow these steps to cancel your subscription:
Launch the Settings app on your iPhone or iPad.
Tap on iTunes & App Store.
Tap on your Apple ID at the top.
Choose View Apple ID from the popup menu.
Enter your password when prompted and tap on OK.
Tap on Manage under Subscriptions .
    Tap on the Spotify subscription.
Turn the Auto-Renewal option to Off.
    Hope this helps! ♫

  • Was i charged for some songs?

I loaded some cd's onto itunes then synced my daughters ipod with those songs and all the songs on the store display page ...about 10 songs were loaded also did they charge me for them or are they samples??? if I was charged who do I call to get them removed?? thanks for any help

Sorry, but what do you mean by "all the songs on the store display page"? What "display page" are you referring to?
You can see what items you purchased from the iTunes Store by signing into your account and going to the Purchase History. Unless an item on the iTunes Store was specifically marked as being free or was a Podcast, you would have been charged for any item you downloaded. For those items there will generally be no refunds. But if you did not deliberately purchase these items but were charged for them anyway, you can try contacting the iTunes Store via their web form and asking if there's anything they can do for you:

For the future, you may want to turn on the Shopping Cart (iTunes preferences -> Store ) so that it's more difficult to purchase something inadvertently.

  • Why was I charged for Engineer Home Improvement Se...

My latest phone bill includes £129.99 for "Engineer Home Improvement Service charge".
This is puzzling. At the end of last year my broadband service was a disaster. Constantly dropping and all over the place.
Thanks to the excellent support I received elsewhere in this forum, an "engineer" called and fixed it.
The problem was not on my premises, but in an external cable that BT had installed many years ago. The engineer disconnected that connection at the BT junction box entering my house and the line suddenly improved.
I was told that external lines issues were down to BT.
The engineer replaced the somewhat corroded junction box and the first phone socket into the house. I asked for neither of these changes. It was the engineer's idea. At no time did he suggest that there would be a charge for this work. Had he done so, I might well have declined the offer, certainly at that price.
Is there an explanation for this charge? How do I query it?

    Hi michaelkenward,
We can investigate the charge for you and review the engineers report to find out why they have raised this as a chargeable visit. Please use the 'contact the mods' link in my forum profile under the 'about me' section to send in your details. You can find the link by clicking on my username.
    Thanks

  • Why was I charged for Roaming on Verizon when I used internet call?

I just got my new iPhone 6 and still learning to use it.  3 days after I got the iPhone, I was overseas. I made several calls via Viber and WeChat but was charged by Verizon as roaming calls. I don't understand why since I dialed the calls within the Viber and WeChat apps and I had wifi connections. I got on the internet on the iPhone 6.
I just find out from Verizon that my iPhone 6 was set up for Roaming - Voice as standard. If my iPhone 6 had Cellular set to Roaming Voice Only, will Roaming take precedence over internet calling such as with Viber or WeChat?
I was very angry with Verizon since they set up my iPhone 6 for Roaming and I told the salesperson I would be traveling overseas. As a new user, I would not know that there was an option to turn Roaming off. Verizon refused to waive the roaming charges stating that the calls were made from my phone. This had been a very frustrating experience with Verizon. We had been a Verizon customer for over 20 years.

Are you sure the roaming charges are not for using the data to make the calls, and not roaming voice minutes? That would make more sense.  If you use Viber or WeChat overseas and are not connected to wifi at the time you make you call, the data will go over the cellular network and you will get very expensive roaming data charges. Also you should have just had cellular turned completely off and only use wifi. The best way to do this is put the phone in airplane mode and then only turn on wifi.

It's possible that the message you got was to update the AirPort Express Base Station's (AX) firmware...and that something might have gone wrong during the upgrade.
Let's start by performing a "factory default" reset on the AX to get it back to it's original "out-of-the-box" condition.
Then, let's set it up to work with your cable modem...
AirPort Express Base Station Setup (AX) w/High-Speed Cable Modem
    Modem/Router Power ReCycling (optional)
    - Power-off the Cable modem, AX, & computer(s). (Wait at least 30 minutes. If possible, leave the modem off overnight.)
    - Power-on the Cable modem; Wait at least 30 minutes.
    - Power-on the AX; Wait at least 5 minutes.
    - Power-on the computer(s)
    Setup the AX
With the network components powered down, set up the AX, using the AirPort Admin Utility, either connect to the AX's wireless network or connect your computer directly (using an Ethernet cable) to the Ethernet port of the AX, and then, try these settings:
    AirPort tab
    - Base Station Name: <whatever you wish or use the default>
    - AirPort Network Name: <whatever you wish or use the default>
    - Create a closed network (unchecked)
    - Wireless Security: Not enabled
    - Channel: Automatic
    - Mode: 802.11b/g Compatible
    Internet tab
    - Connect Using: Ethernet
    - Configure: Using DHCP
    - WAN Ethernet Port: Automatic
    Network tab
    - Distribute IP addresses (checked)
    - Share a single IP address (using DHCP & NAT) (enabled)
Do not, at this point, set up any security (i.e., WEP/WPA encryption, closed network, etc.) to first make sure the AX is operating properly. Try to access the Internet wirelessly with your MacBook. If you're successful, go ahead and add any security features you wish.

  • HT1399 I downloaded and was charged for a song on ITunes store but it isn't on my playlist.

I downloaded a song from the I-tunes store and was charged for it.  It isn't on my playlist now.  Something about the playtime ran out or something like that.  Can I just cancel the song purchase and get reimbursed for the .99 cents that I was charged for the song?

You may want to contact Apple directly by phone to report the issue.

  • Why was i charged usd 1 for registering my i pod?

why was i charged usd 1 for registering my i pod? it was written very clearly that nothing will be charged until we do not make a purchase from i tunes.
    this is ridiculous. pls explain

It's normal, when you first register your credit card with iTunes, to be "charged" a nominal amount, such as a dollar. It allows the store to check your card. It will be refunded to you at some point, usually before the charge become payable with the card company.
    Did I explain it?

  • HT2105 When you get a apple receipt for itunes songs and you paid with a itunes gift card do they charge you or give you store credit what's store credit is it good or bad or does it charge you if you have a free account with no credit cards at all is it

When you get a apple receipt for itunes songs and you paid with a itunes gift card do they charge you or give you store credit what's store credit is it good or bad or does it charge you if you have a free account with no credit cards at all is it bad?

iTunes credits are, for example, if you download a song from the store and it's found to be corrupt - if the track can't be fixed then iTunes support will tend to give you a song credit for a free download.
When you purchase music from the store then any credits that you have will be used first, then any balance that you have (e.g. from iTunes gift cards or allowances), and any remaining amount will be taken from your credit card.
