I forgot my apple id password and now is locked! I need this to activate my phone! its locked by its icloud!! I am trying to rescue it for security reason to prove that I am me!! But my birthday is incorrect. Why they couldn't rmmber it? I tried to contact apple but they did'nt reply!!!!!!!!!!!!

If your Apple ID has been locked or disabled due to too many incorrect password attempts, you can reset your password. To learn more about how to resolve this issue, please see the information below.
If your Apple ID was locked, you can go to iForgot to unlock it with your existing password or reset your password. You can also click the Reset Password or Forgot Password button in the alert. Remember to type your full email address when you're asked to enter your Apple ID. For example, [email protected] or [email protected] If you use two-step verification for Apple ID, you need to use your recovery key and a trusted device to regain access to your account.

Regardless of whether or not you purchased the iPad, the Apple ID is linked ot your sister's account.
You can sign in using your Apple ID and password on the iPad, but all content downloaded using her Apple ID will be deleted.

ever since i forgot my apple id password and changed to a new one, I am continually being asked to enter my iCloud password. It then says that this mac can't connect to iCloud because of a problem with "my username". nothing I do in in preferences helps.
You have to sign out completely in System Preference>iCloud (click 'Sign out') on a Mac, or Settings>iCloud on an iOS device (click 'Delete account' - this will not delete the account from the server). Then sign in with the new password.
Your iCloud data will disappear from your Mac or device when you sign out but will reappear when you sign back in. -

I forgot my Apple ID password. I don't remember my security question answers. I have apps on my iphone that I can't update because of this. So I created a new Apple ID and downloaded some apps. (So I have apps on my iphone from two different Apple IDs).
What I've tried:
I never receive the "I forgot" email - tried it multiple times. I have checked spam folders, recently deleted - checked it all, not there.
I can't delete apps from the old Apple ID and download them with the new because it will delete information from the app, such as game highscores.
I have money on the old Apple ID and would like to be able to use it. If someone can please give me a solution or a support number that can help my situation. It would be greatly appreciated. - I have called support once but no luck.alfonsobracamontes wrote:

Please help. I changed my apple id password and now cannot use facetime and my icloud continues to prompt me for my password and I continue to give it but, I repeatedly am prompted for the password unless I cancel the icloud. I have tried changing my password back to the password I had before and this did not work. I have tried to use another e-mail address for facetime and had verified that e-mail address and this did not work. I do not know how to fix this problem. I have thought about changing my apple id but am not sure how I would be able to carry over the same credit card number to the new apple ID. I loved my Mac book Pro because I could facetime my boyfriend while I am working away and now I cannot. I am starting to hate Mac.
The idea to jumpstart by change was not the smartest one, but gives you an opportunity to use that "temporary" account as permanent. You do not have a choice cause obviously despite you thinking that old account is no more -it does exist on Apple servers. And if you are unwilling to share your [email protected] with friend, just create one extra [email protected] for your friend. One suggestion - do not use gmail.

I changed my Apple ID password and now I can't log into iCloud. In addition I am unable to sign out or exit the iCloud System Preference page and have to force a shut down using the power off button to get rid of it. Does anyone know how to fix this? Thanks
If the Preference Pane hangs, hit comand-option-escape and force quit System Preferences to avoid having to reboot.
In order to sign out you need the original password if you have set up 'Find My ....'. However you can't now change the password back to the original one (as you are not allowed to re-use a password).In this situation only Support can help you.
To contact iCloud Support: if you currently happen to have AppleCare, either because you recently bought Apple hardware or have paid to extend the inititial period, you can contact them here:

You will need the serial number of the covered hardware.
If you are not covered by AppleCare, then - in common with other free email services - there is no free support and you may be asked to pay a fee. -
I just reset my apple ID password and now all the imap folders in Apple Mail are greyed out. I can see the contents, but I don't get whay the folders are all greyed out. Can anyone help? Sorry for the long title on this message...
Assuming this is an iCloud mail account, sign out of iCloud in its preference pane, then sign back in with the new password.

You'd only get that message if iOS 7.0 Beta was installed on this phone. There is no fix. Either return the phone for a refund, or give it back to your boyfriend & have him get it fixed.
