You shouldn't use a commit in a trigger if it's part of the same transaction as the action happening on the table.
Eg. Suppose you have a table that stores details of orders, and it has a trigger that updates the stock table.
If a customer comes along and creates an order but decides part way through that actually, they don't want the order after all, the transaction is rolled back.
If you don't put a commit in the transaction, then the stock table details remain unchanged - no order, so no stock reduction. If, however, you forced the commit to happen in the trigger, you now have no order, but the stock table details have changed.
That's not what you want to happen!
Sometimes it does make sense to have a commit in the trigger, but this is very much the exception. If you come across a table mutating error, it usually means that you have a problem with your design and that you need to rethink it, NOT bodge it by using autonomous_transaction and a commit.
Of course, the times when you'd use triggers should be few and far between - the above example is NOT how I'd code an orders-stock transaction; I'd have some PL/SQL that handled the transaction, rather than direct inserts onto the table. -

You can't use your existing @icloud.com email address as the primary email address for your existing Apple ID. You have to use a non-Apple email address (such as Gmail).

Welcome to the Apple Community.
In order to change your Apple ID or password for your iCloud account on your iOS device, you need to delete the account from your iOS device first, then add it back using your updated details. (Settings > iCloud, scroll down and hit "Delete Account")
Just enter your existing details, don't try creating a new account. -

I have a iPad2 since last year and bought these apps "Pages, Numbers, Keynote, Gargaeband" on it. Now i have a new MackBook Pro 17" quadcore i7 OS 10.7.5 and trying to sync my apps and use them on my Macbook Pro but for some reason i can not...
Would you please help me out how to do it and where to start?
I know that once you bought an app you can sync and use them on all your devices, but how? The price on above apps for iphone and ipad are much cheaper than for macs. Is this the reason i cant use them on my macbook pro?

You can't use apps purchased on the iPad on the Mac. They use different App Stores and iPad apps aren't compatible with Macs, so you have to purchase them in the Mac App Store -

I downloaded app Rxmindme (prescription timer) and it said it downloaded. Why cant I find or get the app to work?? I am buying iphone soon but I wanted to get this app to work on my alienware windows 7computer and then link it to iphone. I found Rxmindme 02.11.00 ipa, (ios App) in my computer but when I try to open it the itune program opens. I see the app in the program and it says its downloaded ------But now what do I do ?----- Please help Ive wanted this type app for a long time to remind me to take all the pills I get from VA hospital.. Apps for the iPhone do not run on Windows. You will need the iPhone to run the app.
