I have an old iPod Touch with old software that can no longer be updated:
iOS version 6.1.6
I've been searching for a solution to my iMessage login problem for months and tried everything from those frustrating links and all the tips from other users.
Here is what finally worked:
1) Settings > Privacy > Location Services > On
2) Settings > General > Date & Time > Set Automatically > On
3) Reboot device until Apple logo appears
4) Settings > Messages > Sign In

HELP! How come I can't 'save and quit' any longer with this new ver of Firefox? Does anyone know how to fix this?

When I updated Firefox I have now discovered I can no longer action the 'save and quit' function when closing down Firefox! Is this a common problem and more to the point is there a solution to this?? ie, change settings or some form of patch??
Any help would be greatly appreciated as this function WAS awesome when needing certain tabs kept open.

Firefox now always stores the old session, and you can access it by going to the History menu and selecting "Restore Previous Session"
If you want Firefox to display the message to save the session, it can be turned back on by changing some preferences.

I have a 2010 Macbook pro with the option to 'pinch' on the track pad to zoom on the screen, and its not working with this new beta version of firefox i downloaded.. but it's working on the rest of my laptop. Is there some way to turn it on?

When I try to pinch in and out on the trackpad it's not working, but then it will work on my desktop when I minimize firefox.

First, back up all data immediately, as your boot drive might be failing.
There are a few other possible causes of generalized slow performance that you can rule out easily.
Reset the System Management Controller.

We have three Ipads in our house. We have one itunes account with multiple devices like two Iphones and Apple TV. My question is about our three Ipads. How can I set up the imessaging and facetime on all three devices while only using one Itunes acct

Okay. We have three Ipads in our house with only one Itunes account. When I go into imessaging and facetime on each of the devices, it wants to start switching my wife's cell phone and then the three emails associated with each Ipad to the contact information for all of the Ipads. As of this morning, only the imessaging and facetime are turned on my wife's iphone and ipad. My kids imessaging and facetime is turned off. Do you really have to have an itunes account for each device to make then work??? Any help would be very much appreciated.

There is only one solution. Each user must have their own separate user account. All of their respective data would be contained in their separate user accounts. This also means each will have a separate iTunes Library. If you all use the same third-party apps, then each will have to purchase their own copies under their own Apple IDs. Some data sharing is possible. See:

Have you tried to reboot your phone(hold home and lock button simutainiously)?

So I've just made the switch over to Apple computers from my forever relationship with Windows. I discovered that I can use IMessage and Factime on here but it links to not my Iphone, but to my father's whose is supposed to be on another itunes account but I'm not really sure. Sometimes IMessage in my Macbook will come across as my number, others my Dad's. My Iphone is on the itunes account that my Macbook is on but how do I make it so that the Imessage and Facetime go ONLY through MY phone? Yes, I know. But at one point in activating FaceTime or iMessage you will need to be able to send a text message. If you can't, there will be no activation.
Check your device settings
Make sure that you’re connected to a cellular data or Wi-Fi network. If you're using an iPhone, you'll need SMS messaging to activate your phone number with iMessage and FaceTime. Depending on your carrier, you might be charged for this SMS.

The iMessage and FaceTime on the ipad will not work.

For Christmas I got the ipad2 with just wifi. I logged in with the same apple Id on the ipad that I use on my iPhone 4. I set the ipad up... It's connected to wifi and the iMessage and FaceTime will not work. When I try to send a message, after a minute or so, it says message failure. When I try to FaceTime someone it says connection lost when I AM STILL connected to the wifi. Does anyone know what I can do to fix the problem??

There is no official public documentation of that alert as far as I know.
If you're trying to sign in to FaceTime, try to sign in to iMessage in the Messages application, or vice versa.
Otherwise, do as the alert directs. According to reports, you won't be charged for the support call if you select "Apple ID"—not the hardware model—as the product you're asking about, and cite the "customer code" in the alert as the "validation code" when you speak to the Apple representative. I can't confirm.
