I downloaded iOS 7.0.2, and now my iPhone 5 keeps turning itself off and the battery useage is twice what it was. I want iOS 6 back! How do I uninstall iOS 7?>
So, after it charged and was still plugged in, I deleted the Exchange account and then reset it holding down the sleep wake buttons until the apple logo appeared. I also changed the limit on my emails to 3 days instead of 1 week. It turned on, so I turned it off and let it charge overnight. This morning, it stayed on for 3 whole hours and then shut itself off again. I had to try 5 times to get it to come back on. Now, a message appeared that Exchange cannot verify a server, I can't see the full name of the server anymore, but it is *.hotmail.com GlobalSign Root CA from Microsoft. So I'm selecting Accept to see what happens. I'm very discouraged, I need my phone to be reliable for my work. It was reliable for 11 months without one problem, and now since I downloaded iOS 7, it hasn't been on for one full day since.

Downloaded iOS 7 and am very disappointed with look. Very immature and cartoonish design of icons. Some new features are ok but not worth keeping since I prefer old look and feel. How do I get old icons back, or uninstall update?

I installed a software update on my husbands iPad...and the whole look of everything changed... He hates it. Is there a way to uninstall the software update and go back to his previous version? and please understand that we both are not very computer literate, so make it simple if possible. Remember, I am computer illiterate, so I'm sorry if I sound stupid but is iOS 7.0.4 what I updated to? It just said there was a software update available, so I just started the download. The look of everything changed including hid calendar that he uses for his business...we are old and he doesn't understand it. I was just assuming that the iOS 704 thing was new. Could it be any other kind of update that's reversible? Thank you for your time!

You have to plug your device on a mac or pc, launch itunes, download the ipsw corresponding to your device for IOS 8. Next you have to enter into restore mode. Before that, make a backup of youre device on your pc.
After installing IOS 8, you have to restore your backup from your pc or icloud. -

Currently Apple will only allow an Updated or Restored iPhone 4S to have iOS 6. If you are really having problems, Restore the Firmware with iTunes on computer, this could help.

There is no way you can go back in iOS version...Apple has never supported downgrading iOS versions, and removes the files for the older version when a new version is released.
Once upgraded you have to stay with that iOS version. -

You cannot. Apple does not support downgrading. iOS 8.1.1 was designed to help with the iPad 2. Many have reported relief. You may want to backup your device, restore the device as new, and then restore your backup to that new device. See if that helps. If it doesn't, there could be some problem data in your current device that is causing the problem. If no change, then restore the device as new and sync your content back individually.
