HT201394 ios 8.0.2 causes my iphone 5 to jump in and out of data/cell service. Has anyone else experienced this?
I have an Iphone 5 16 gig on the Sprint network and since i've updated my ios, it now jumps in and out of cellular service. I was told that you can revert back to 8.0.0 but i can not find a way of doing that. Has anyone else experienced this problem and found a fix?

I would close all applications in multitasking and power cycling the device. Once this is done test the results.

If you are still having trouble with the text appearing as you type after following those steps, you may want to try turning off Documents & Data under your iCloud settings. On your iOS device’s Home screen, go to Settings > iCloud, then tap to turn off Documents and Data.

I imagine Keynote Remote uses Audio/Video Remote Control Profile which should be available on both your iPhone and iPad.
I think you're saying that since you got the new iPhone 5, these two things occur:
1. Your iPhone cannot discover your iPad
2. Your iPad cannot discover your iPhone.
If that's true, when you turn on Bluetooth on each of the devices, you might see old devices listed that are no longer used. If you do, I suggest clicking the white arrow to the right of such devices and clicking "Forget this device". -

The iPhone 5, the Wall Charger, and the Lightning Cable are all covered by the 1 year Warranty. Make Genius reservation and take all 3 to Apple so the problem can be sorted and resolved.

Yep, Gary Hanes is right - I racked my brains goin what the ... my personal hotspot was not appearing on the airwaves Then I checked the iOS version on my iPhone 5 and it was 6.0.1
So I went into settings and sure enough Facetime was ON so I set it to OFF and power-cycled the phone (switched it off then back on) and my personal hotspot was on the air (after I enabled it in settings)
Apple - how can you release an iOS with such a flaw - surely that would be one of the things to check in the final release testing considering so many people would be keen to share the super fast Telstra 4G LTE speeds (Australian carrier)??? I recently purchased the new iPhone and bought a folding wallet case. On one side there are slots for credit cards and the other holds the phone. I noticed that the credit cards are making an impression in my phone screen. I don't put my phone in my back pocket, always carry it in my front slacks pocket. It does not seem like credit cards should be able to scratch a display. Has anyone else noticed this problem?

I already went to Verizon who said this is not an issue they've experienced with their network, so they replaced my phone under warranty. Problem still exists with replacement phone. Any advice??

Camera isn't functioning or has undesired image quality
If the screen shows a closed lens or black image, force quit the Camera app.
If you do not see the Camera app on the Home screen, try searching for it in Spotlight. If the camera does not show up in the search, check to make sure that Restrictions are not turned on by tappingSettings > General > Restrictions.
Ensure the camera lens is clean and free from any obstructions. Use a microfiber polishing cloth to clean the lens.
Cases can interfere with the camera and the flash. Try gently cleaning the lens with a clean dry cloth or removing the case if you see image or color-quality issues with photos.
Try turning iPhone off and then back on.
Tap to focus the camera on the subject. The image may pulse or briefly go in and out of focus as it adjusts.
Try to remain steady while focusing:
Still images: Remain steady while taking the picture. If you move too far in any direction, the camera automatically refocuses to the center.
Note: If you take a picture with iPhone turned sideways, it is automatically saved in landscape orientation.
Video: Adjust focus before you begin recording. You can also tap to readjust focus while recording. Exiting the Camera application while recording will stop recording and will save the video to the Camera Roll.
Note: Video-recording features are not available on original iPhone or iPhone 3G.
If your iPhone has a front and rear camera, try switching between them to verify if the issue persists on both.

Also the animation of the bell with a sound bar underneath is not working properly. Sometimes it pops up with the bar under the bell and sometimes the bar is missing and just the square with the bell is all you see. The side sound buttons are still functioning, just an animation glitch. When head phones are plugged in there is no change in the strange sounds going in and out. Videos are the worst and not only do they not play sound but thy also pause themselves??? The typing has intermittent sound. I have hard reset and rebooted my phone about 8 or 10 times with only temporary relief. I connected to iTunes and toatlly reset everything once, still no change??
Are you connected to wifi?
If you can't do it on the phone, you can most certainly do it via itunes. -
If I am playing a song in iOS 7 while the phone is locked, unlocking the phone seems to cause the Music app to skip to a different part of the song. It seems to be a random placement, sometimes ahead; sometimes back; sometimes very close to where it was, but rarely a continuous feed. Anyone have a clue what might be happening? Shake to Shuffle is off, only the Home Button has been touched. I also noticed that the display on the lock screen may be indicating where the playback will go once the phone is unlocked. Thanks for your help!
In reading other threads, I found a few that recommend a hard reset to solve the issue. I have tried it, and thus far haven't expereienced the problem again. Hopefully that's it then

Apple Warranty should cover this hardware problem. You could try a Restore of the iPhone Firmware with iTunes on computer to confirm it is not software problem. Then make Genius reservation and take to Apple for resolution.

Iphone 5 bluetooth texting is not working in my Mercedes E550; Mercedes says it's a phone issue. Any ideas or suggestions?
If your question regards the ability of your Mercedes to access the text messages in your phone, the most likely answer is that your vehicle's audio system does not support the Message Access Profile. This Bluetooth profile was adopted in June of 2009, which means that Mercedes Benz wasn't implementing this capability mid-year.
Your Merc simply will not be able to access those messages.
If the dealer can do an update of the Firmware, it might improve the capability. But the expense of that might outweigh the ability to gain access to your texts. This is to say that there is even an upgrade possible. This is a major addition to the Bluetooth capabilities.
FWIW, up until recently, most cars havn't had this capability. The earliest adopters were Ford and BMW.
