HT201401 iv had my phone factory unlocked but its saying no service?
i bought the phone off ebay ( yes i did check the imei) all is fine i used iphoneoperatorcheck.co... i got the phone factory unlocked and i hve followed all the steps and restored it but the phone is saying no service?? iv tried everything i can think of what can i do or is thgere any other websites to check if it has bin reported etc?
How did you unlock it? Your provider is the one that should do that, Contact them.

I have an att 4s, recently unlocked but it says no service even tho it shows tmobile under carrier?
I have an att 4s, i did restore and backup on itunes and got a congrats iphone is unlocked message on the screen. When i put my tmobile sim , it says no service, i tried different tmobile sims no service.i even got a new tmobile sim still no luck
But when i go under settings-general-about-carrier it shows tmobile 14.1 already, that means it s unlocked i guess ,but no ,still only works with att. What could be the problem?Go to an Apple store. There are only two things that could be causing this: software or hardware. The genius bar should be able to tell you definitively.

hello. my phone is factory unlocked.
but my iphone support one network (Zong) only in pakistan. if i insert another network sim it support (Catch the signl and show the network name ) but cannot make a call or text neither incoming nor outgoing.

ios 7.0.4There aren't any supported carriers in Pakistan. Apple hasn't released the iPhone there. The OP is using a grey-market iPhone and hence is pretty much on his/her own as regards getting this phone working with the carrier, unless that carrier can help.

You can keep trying to restore the device from backup until you remember the password. If you're having trouble, try:

hi i have an iPhone4 which is used to locked to USA AT&T. i had it factory unlocked but still wont able to activate it thru itunes. i cant use my phone anymore since i uodated my iOS from 5.1 to 6.0 which updated my baseband to 4.12.02 and now on iOS 6.1.2 my baseband is 4.12.05 my iphone model is MC318 serial number 81025TA2A4S IMEI 012336004063743. i dont know what else i can do. please help.
Generally this is a sign that the iPhone had previously been
hacked/modified/jailbroken and the update relocked it to the
original wireless carrier. If this is the case, only that wireless
carrier can unlock your iPhone. You must contact them to see
if they offer unlocking and if you qualify.

What wireless carrier did you use before this problem?
Does the app Cydia appear on your iPhone?
What does it say when you look at Settings=>General=>About=>Carrier?
Most likely your iPhone was not properly unlocked and is now
relocked to AT&T. You must work with AT&T to get it unlocked.
Depending on what method was used to unlock the iPhone previously,
a legitimate unlock from AT&T may not complete successfully.

My carrier is Straight Talk (using ATT network) and they require the user to enter the APN settings in order to access their data network. My Iphone 4s is factory unlocked but I can not get to the Cellular Data Network tab to enter the settings?
Yes ATT hides the APN settings so when you try to use a st sim it automatically reads on AT&T network so the APN settings are hidden and cannot be accessed however you can go to apn.straighttalk.com on you'r phone and select APN/data settings then select AT&T then iPhone and a screen will pop up asking if you would like to install the profile for whatever reason it's not verified but works fine. You can also go to www.unlockit.co.nz and set up a straight talk APN profile that is verified not sure exactly what that means but both work to get the data working on the phone for straight talk but it does not make the MMS work. There are a couple other methods I have read about one is on howardforums using ibackupbot to manually change the files on the phone I haven't been able to get mine to stick using that method but other people have and there is a sim swap method to trick the phone to reveal APN settings using a tmobile sim I have not tried this but other people have with success. The last two methods mentioned will make both data and MMS work

I am unsure how it can be determined the payment mix up was the fault of CS, but regardless, the mix up was done. There can be any number of reasons why a payment could be missed without any fault on your part, however you are still the responsible party for the account and must live with the repercussions. -
i need to get my brothers itunes off his old phone i already reset it to factory settings but its still telling me i have to enter the apple id and password and we dont know it and doesnt remember the information that he put in itunes to do it
I guess that the only problem is, that the iphone is already connected / related (or whatever... I´m german) to an apple ID. and if he could go in the ITUNES account, he/they could get rid of that by DISCONNECTING

When i got on itunes after i was told my iphone4 is unlocked. I got this MSG that this sim is not supported then I can't do anything. I don't have any icons on my phone and I can't restore thru iTunes. Anyone has similar experience? What do u do? AT&T told me my phone is unlocked but I can't do anything need help. My sim is with TMobile.
You'll need to either a) insert your AT&T SIM card and then restore the phone, or b) force your iPhone into recovery mode. If you re-insert the AT&T SIM card, make sure you swap it with your new T-Mobile one before you start the setup assistant. If you force the phone into recovery mode then just leave the T-Mobile SIM card in it.
You must restore your iPhone to complete the setup assistant so that your phone can be activated with T-Mobile.

The only one that can legally unlock it is the carrier holding the lock.
Anything else will lead to someone illegally jailbreaking yopur iPhone so that Apple will no longer support it inany fashsion.

i was using iphone4 in england then in pakistan and now the same set in south korea.....but here the sim is not working.....shopkeepers said that it is not factory unlock. but this set is factory unlocked. kindly inform me what to do now to activate the korean sim here.
To answer the post title FireFox save all downloads automatically in the download folder, which you can find in the Documents folder. If you want to choose where to save your downloads go to tools>options>check always ask me where to save files.
Secondly, I am assuming you have IE 8 installed as this is the only version that supports this fix that is currently not in beta. Go to control panel>internet options>advanced tab and reset the settings at the bottom. This may or may not fix the problem but it is a good first step.
