So bring your phone in to Apple. If under warranty and the problem is determined to be a hardware failure and not due to user abuse then the phone will be replaced.

Use Assistive Touch for perfect Virtual Lock Button. Settings App > General > Accessibility > Assistive Touch > ON > white button will appear on screen, tap it > tap Device icon > tap Lock icon. It will function as perfect Lock Button. If you use it to turn OFF iPhone. Then you will need to connect iPhone to power ie charger or computer USB to turn it ON.

You can make an appointment at the genius bar at your local Apple Store or take it to the AASP in your country and see what they have to say about it. If it's under warranty and hasn't been physically damaged, it should be replaced. If it isn't under warranty, you'll have to pay.

The Camera Raw button in my Adobe Bridge has quit working and all my raw files are hidden by a cover that says PEF and has a camera raw icon on it. I can open the files in camera raw if I double click on the file but I want to see the files and be able to use the camera raw button. How can I fix it?

This means you have not the correct ACR plug in to support your PEF files or no ACR plug in installed at all.
In photoshop go to the menu Photoshop / About Plug ins / Camera Raw.
Here should be showing the version number of your ACR plug in (only 1 version should show btw)
Then go to this site and check wether your camera is listed and what minimal version you need to open the files:

GB Has Quit Working - Software Update the Cause?

Out of the blue, Garageband (v4.1.1) has quit working. It worked fine one day, and the next day it didn't work at all. It will open, but I can't click any of the buttons or move any sliders or drop downs. If I hit the spacebar, my song will start playing, but I can't just press the button to stop it. The only thing that's changed on my system was a software update a week or so ago, including an update of Quicktime (I have QT Pro). I've reinstalled Garageband (back to version 4.0) but the same thing happens. I've also unhooked my two MIDI devices and tried starting the program, but still nothing. Does anyone know if there is a way to go back to my previous configuration, before the system update? Any other ideas? I 'm running OS 10.4.11 on a G5.

Try this first - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. (This is equivalent to rebooting your computer.)
Or this - Delete the account in Mail and then set it up again. Settings->Mail, Contacts, Calendars -> Accounts Tap on the Account, then on the red button that says Remove Account.

Have been using firefox for months; now has quit working properly with the websites I use everyday. What happened?

It has quit working with "liverez" which is my web based reservation program. The place I login is https://reservations.liverez.com/login.asp?LogOff=True&Return=Res but once I login, the site does not work as it did before. The website that corresponds with this doesn't look right now either. I can't even use my msn email account with firefox now. I have had to go back to using internet explorer. I have not even tried other sites with foxfire at this time. The other sites I use for work. Things that aren't working are that I can't click on things I need to click on, drop downs aren't showing up, pictures are absent, etc. It is all working fine on internet explorer and used to work on firefox until last night.

Thanks to some hints in several strings, I went back to the Control Panel in XP, clicked on Sounds and Devices, clicked on Audio, then changed the default device to the Realtek HD Audio output I have on my computer. Now I can hear You Tube video sound and other Internet audio fine, at least for now. I will come back if it stops again. Thanks to all who posted.

Wow that is so unlucky. If I was you I would try talking to someone at the Apple Store, explain your situation and don't be shy to shed a tear or too. Its just a shame 3 weeks after your phone getting hardware problems. I know people will say, oh buy Apple Care but I feel ya and I know adding that extra money in the beginning feels pointless and expensive.
Worst case scenarion like I said you will have to pay Apple 269 for them to swap phones. Or if you have any nerd friends have them fix it for you. Its a tedious repair the way the power button has some weird hinge that needs to snap on and ribbons are so thin. I do not advise for you to attempt to fix your self unless you don't care if you break it completely.
Alternatively you could just turn on Assisitive touch on accessibility and use that. That way you wont need to pay anything to fix your phone and wont need to take it apart either.

Try a system reset. It cures many ills and it's quick, easy and harmless...
Hold down the on/off switch and the Home button simultaneously until the screen blacks out or you see the Apple logo. Ignore the "Slide to power off" text if it appears. You will not lose any apps, data, music, movies, settings, etc.
If the Reset doesn't work, try a Restore. Note that it's nowhere near as quick as a Reset. From iTunes, select the iPad/iPod and then select the Summary tab. Follow directions for Restore and be sure to say "yes" to the backup. You will be warned that all data (apps, music, movies, etc.) will be erased but, as the Restore finishes, you will be asked if you wish the contents of the backup to be copied to the iPad/iPod.
There's more to try but let's go a bit at a time.

If the power adapter is already plugged into your computer, the AC power cord is likely to spark as you attempt to plug it in. I use a windows 7 pro and have no problem like that from bridge cc when I select a thumbnail then use menu Tools>Photoshop>Image Processor.. I see Adobe Photoshop CC 2014 start up then I see the Image processor dialog and that one file is selected in the bridge I the complete the dialog and click run. The image files are created. Photoshop remains open after the image files are create with no open documents. I need to click on the bridge in the task bar to bring bridge back into focus.
