can anybody help me with my iphone 4s. the battery drains so fast and is so hot. then i can't use my apps even the settings, it keeps on kicking me back to home screen. i already tried rebooting it, i even reset everything. tried deleting my email accounts and some apps like the friend finder and iphone locater. but still, nothing happened. i dont know what else to do to fix it.
Not sure if this Term is Relevant towards an iPhone but, my iPhone won't Post unless if it's plugged into a Charger.

iphone 4s battery draining extremly fast, how annoying is that, Battery will be drain out within 12 hrs and I just usually watch 30 mins video (not using 3G/wifi) and 10mins on Phone .
I always turn off my Siri, Auto Detect Time Zone, 50% Brightness, NO background Apps are running and Mail is manually updated.
Does anyone facing the same problem?Go to advanced and set icloud to manual I used to suffer from this because of icloud it was stuck in a loop and always draining the battery, try also resetting your network settings if it didn't work reset all settings and set it as a new phone drain the battery and charge it from 0 to 100% to recalibrate the battery , hope this works for you

can u tell why the problem is or need to change batteryI'm having the same problem with my 3Gs. In my case it is not the apps int he background or the brightness, or wifi or email push. The folks at the apple stroe tell me that there is some software glitch that shows up every few months.
I can only get rid of it by restoring my phone as a new device. In which case I lose all of my contacts, settings and all data. VERY frustrating. I had recived two new phones (before applecare ran out) and have done the resotre several times. No one can tell me what is in that creates this probelm. I've tried differenet chargers one by one in case they are the probelm. one int he car, one in a kitchen outlet, one at my home computer (sync) and on at my office computer (non-sync).
Problem just showed up again randomly two days ago, no new apps or hardware. battery drains from full to 0 in two hours.
Apple, please fix. -

My iphone 4s turns off and restarts itself a few seconds or minutes after when I establish a FaceTime call. I've tried "Restore iPhone" from iTunes but the same thing keeps happening. Any solution?
Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings
Also, if this only happens with one Wi-Fi network, power cycle that Wi-Fi router.
Basic troubleshooting from the User's Guide is reset, restart, restore (first from backup then as new). Try each of these in order. -
iPhone 4S will either show 100% battery or dead battery right before shutting off, nothing in between. Has iOS 7 now after restore and is continuing to do the same thing as when it has iOS 6. Frustrating, like not having a fuel gauge on your car!!l. Purchased around March of this year so not very old, never wet, damaged, etc.

My wifi button is frezon and I tried turning my phone off for a period of time and reset my phone but the button is still frezon it want slide over to turn on my wifi. Is there any other way to fix without going to apple to get it fixed?
Hey Posada143, You can still try the rice thing, but do not expect much, as roaminggnome has stated. The rice only works if you do it ASAP and leave the iPod off-- do not attempt use, turn on or charge until it is completely dried out. This is probably academic at this point but remember this for the next time: The drying can take 10 days. You put the uncooked rice and iPod in a sealed bag, change the rice every couple of days. This creates a low humidity environment and draws the moisture out of the iPod, but it takes time. Turn your iPod on to earlier, and you run the risk of shorting out, damaging the components inside. Even if done correctly it can spotty. If you do get the iPod to work (and this may require Resetting, Restoring or attempting to place it in DFU recover mode) the first thing you do is make backups, because you never know how long it will continue to work. As for your pictures, if you can't get your iPod to work, you can try data retrieval companies, however; there is no guaranty it will work and it tends to be very expensive. In the future get in the habit of as making backups, because you just don't know. And invest in and use a water tight case. Hope this helps, Good luck. Cheers.

I've reset my PPAM before to get around Firmware lock, but I've upgraded to mountain lion and now need to do the same thing, but I can't reset the PRAM. I've heard of the chip that is on the post 2011 macs, but I must not have one? What to do? Also, I can not get start up chimes unless I have the factory startup disk in. I tried dialing in five times with each of the following settings:
Connecting on LTE (with no confirmation boop-boop tone that I'm on the 3G Extender): the telecon login worked five out of five times. This is impractical for me as I have wretched LTE signal where I live and it snaps hard over to 1x signal every 2-5 minutes and drops my call. That's why I got an extender!
Connecting on 3G (after a #48 positive confirmation boop-boop tone that I'm on the 3G Extender): telecon login worked zero out of five times. I had stellar 3G signal, but the 'overdialing' DTMF problem was consistent and I was unable to connect to the telecon service.
