Hi, my iphone 4 torch is permanently on until battery goes flat, screen will not come on, tried reset etc nothing.
I've even tried plugging into pc and its not showing there either? HELP PLEASE
Try this, connect iPhone to Wall Charger for 10 minutes, iPhone may turn ON itself. If still OFF, then keep on charger and Reset, hold both home and power buttons until the iPhone begins to start. This can sometimes take about 20 seconds time of holding both buttons while on charger. If still problem and you have Warranty or AppleCare Coverage, make Genius Reservation and take iPhone to Apple for resolution.

My phone was working fine last night. Plugged it into the charger and went to bed. Woke up this am to it off. It would not turn on. I tried a different charger and a different outlet. Tried several times to hold down power and volume and or the menu button. Finally, several hours later, holding the power and volume buttoon turned on the phone. Said had 1%battery, so i kept it plugged in for about 5 min. It went up to 2%. I started to look at recieved text, then it went dead again. Repeated the same steps and left it plugged in. It kept turning off. till finally, it went dim and a warning message came on to restore phone from itunes but idid not see the end of warning bc it shut off again. Now it will not turn on, but has the white apple symbol turning off and on over and over. I can not find the option to restore the phone, plus the phone is not on so the computer is not registering that its plugged in. I can not call out bc no landline and can not call tech support. Does anyone know why this is, or what to do?????????????

My iPhone will not turn on because of water damage. I am trying to access the cloud but i forgot my apple ID and i also forgot the email associated with it which was an @me.com address. I tried using the back-up emails that i have but it did not find my account. How can i get to my cloud?

No I mean don't use the "Slide to Power Off", just hold down the Home and Lock buttons until the screen goes black.
That does work if your device is frozen, unlike Slide to Power Off. -

The flash on my phone will not turn off and is draining the battery. I've already tried turning the flash off in camera mode and resetting the phone to factory settings. Neither worked.
Basic troubleshooting from the User's Guide is reset, restart, restore (first from backup then as new). Try each of these in order until the issue is resolved.

Try a Hard Reset.....
Press and hold the Wake / Sleep button AND the Home button at the same time, keep them both pressed until the Apple Logo appears on the screen, it can take 10 or more seconds. Ignore the swipe to turn off message. -

Try a Hard Reset,

I have a n IPhone 4S. I upgraded to IOS7 and then tried tp go back to my prevous IOS and now my phone will not turn on at all.
I tried to do the same, but couldn't find ios 6. I even tried the APPstore, to download the last IOS6 version.
The most problem is the running out of the battery.
I've checked each app who is "eating" the most power.
The battery stoped runaway, when I closed the weather service....
So for now, I will use regular internet service, and probbaly will do to more app.
Until, finaly, I will find my self with all the applications closed....:-)
That will be the sign, to replace my phone to anderoid....:-)
Till now, there is no any sign from Apple to have a glance to our complanes. -

Take it to your local Apple Store and have the genius take a look. If it won't respond at all, it sounds like a hardware failure.
