My enter button and web search orb won't work only on my homepage. Works everywhere but there. We have Yahoo for a homepage. What should I do?

We have the at&t/yahoo homepage fixed where we can check our other email account. On this page, I have just a color theme and all of the news items disabled. We have had this for three years now. Just a few days ago we noticed that when we use the search bar that is included in the middle of the page that the enter button won't work. I usually type and hit enter as opposed to clicking on the mouse button. I do have the search assistant on. I tried to disable that, but it didn't help. I have a couple of other search toolbars and they work fine with the keyboard. It's just convenient especially for my husband to have it this way. I have searched the internet for several days and have come close to what I thought would be the answer but nothing has worked yet. Most of the questions/answers were old anyway. It might not have anything to do with Firefox, I just didn't know where else to ask questions too.

Also, when I go on to safari, another alert pops up that safari cannot verify the identity of the website, anything that I type in to as common as google.com. It gives me 3 options to either cancel, look at details, and continue. I've looked at the details of the website of Google and it is legitimate the site. Any help?

First thing to check when the phone is not ringing is the mute switch. See this graphic.
If that is alright, the next thing to check is to see if Do Not Disturb is turned on. Is there a small crescent moon icon next to the battery icon? If so, then go to the Control Panel by swiping upwards from the bottom of the screen. Do Not Disturb is the next to the last icon on the top row, the one that has that crescent moon.

Ringer won't switch to vibrate-only mode

I always keep the ringer volume all the way down to the vibrate setting on my 5s. Not sure how it happened, but at some point my phone switched out of vibrate mode and now when I use the volume buttons on the side of my phone the volume will go up and down but it won't allow me to go all the way down to vibrate only mode. I didn't change anything in my settings that I'm aware of. I have it on the lowest volume right now, but I want to get it back to vibrate only. Tried restarting the phone and it didn't change anything. Any suggestions

Upper left top, slide switch to have it just vibrate.

Ringer won't work on iphone 4

Hey everyone
When someone calls me on my iphone 4 it only buzzes, it doesn't ring. This would be understandable if the speakers weren't working but there are working fine. I can play music from them. I can also change my ringtones in the settings (which makes the phone call sound when I do it).
I was wondering if anyone can let me know if there is a way to fix this. I have tried to restore the phone to factory settings.

. Simple yet perplexing.. I bought the waterproof case and had them put it on before leaving the store.. GRANTED, I never read the instructions.. Just knew it must have been something in the way I programmed the phone. I especially loved that you put up an illustration with your explanation.

Trackpad won't work only on word

My trackpad will not scroll down on word. It works perfectly fine except when I use word.

My scroll function won't work only when I use ff. Works on every other program. Is there a fix?

The scroll on my mouse works fine every place except on ff4.0. It was fine before I upgraded a couple days ago. Have been running ff for years with no problems. This is aannoying but your still the best.

Which operating system do you have installed? Is it Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7, MAC OS (and which flavour), Linux, Ubuntu or some other OS?

My ringer won't work on my iphone 3gs please help

My Ipod on my iphone suddenly has no sound. ther is no sound bar across the bottom and the ringer says there is no volume. my phone rings ok though. i have backed up phone and restored the factory setting but to no joy. does anyone know what to do please?

You can go again Genius Bar and tell them about previous repair attempt, they can check if still same problem, or it was something else.

I actually have the phone now in recovery mode, it's got the screen up, and I have it plugged in, and nothing's happening. I know the cable isn't screwed, because I use it to charge all the time.

My phone wont ring since the last update. It will only vibrate.

Every since I have done the last update my phone will not ring. It will only vibrate. I have tried changing it in sounds and it still not ring, the volume it turned all the way up.

Have you checked the Mute switch along the edge, near the external volume controls?

Ringer doesn't work for incoming calls

My iPhone 4 ringer won't work for incoming calls. It is not on vibrate only and the ringer works through the earphones when earphones are connected. Any suggestions?

Mail touch screen not responding, on off button won't work

My iPhone 4 on/ off button won't work so I can't re-set my phone. Been told i need new one but trying to hold out for new iphobe!
Now the touchscreen won't work only in mail, and the screen is darker in mail than everythinguch else. Can anyone help?

My touch screen stopped working and could not power off. Plugged it in to recharge and then it was okay. Very weird. The suggestion to restore from Itunes was very good and probably a basic apple practice. I was ready to get a new phone and not an apple. I will see how the iphone works the next few days.

Basic troubleshooting steps clearly outlined in the User Guide are restart, reset, restore from backup, restore as new device.
Have you tried ALL the troubleshooting steps? If you have and you're still having problems, then you'll need to bring your phone into Apple for evaluation and possible exchange.

IPhone 4 doesn't ring, only vibrates, but speakers work.

My iPhone 4 (AT&T) suddenly won't ring when someone calls or I get a text, it only vibrates. The speakers play music fine, and I can have phone conversations and hear/speak to the other person fine. Also, the alarm clock sounds The mute switch doesn't seem jammed or anything, but when I switch it off, it doesn't show the picture of the bell with the line through it while vibrating to let me know its off. Also, the volume buttons get no response when pressed. Any ideas?

I had this issue as well but I figured out how to fix this issue by just reading previous responds, here's a way how I got mines to work .....
1. Go to Settings > Sounds > Ringer and Alerts
2. Turn off the "Change with Buttons"
3. Lower all the volume
4. After the above has been made ... turn up the volume using the buttons on the side of the phone. [Once doing it, you should start hearing your default ringtone]
5. Once you've started to hear your default ringtone just continue turning up the volume all the way
6. Finally turn on back the "Change with Buttons"
Now you can start hearing your lock sounds, dial-pad tone, etc.
