IOS 6 seems to be causing multiple typing errors. The problem didn't occur before ios6. I have delayed ipad toeing iPhone 4 forbear ofmthensame problems.
As an example, I did not,go,correct mistakes in last sentence that iPad 'corrected'
Any ideas of how,to fix this? Can I revert my ipad 3 back to prevlousmIOS?

Since the iOS7 upgrade my iMessages don't work all the time.

Since the iOS7 upgrade my iMessages don't work all the time. The will work for for a few days, but then all of a sudden they stop working. They are still activated in settings, but not sending. If I turn on and off my phone they work again for a while and then stop again. I'm not sure if turning off and on my phone again is re-activating the iMessages which is why they start to work again for a while. But it's a pain having to turn off and on my phone each time, and when sending an iMessage not knowing whether it's going to send this time or not is a bigger pain. Also everytime I turn off and on my phone (which i think is re-activating the iMessages) a text is sent to the following UK number: +447786205094 - so it's costing me each time!
Is there a fix for this?

Turning off and back on or hard reset seems to work for a day or two. After resetting I am occasionally losing messages that were there before reset. In addition, I have had 3 messages that I received a notification for when they came in but go into messages and not there. Message incon still shows 3 unread messages but when I open messages I have no unread messages??? Power on-off or hard reset does not seem to fix this. At least a reset gets imessages working again. Hope fix is out soon. This is a PIA.

When you said you have no fax machines on your line, that does include computers directly connected to the phone line?
The reason that I ask is a computer with a dial-up modem (a non broadband modem) that can connect to your phone line, can have software that makes the computer act as a fax machine.

Why is my fan working all the time after installing a Samsung SSD

I installed a Samsung 500GB EVO SSD on my 13" Macbook Pro Late 2011
Since I nstalled it my fan is wroking all the time even when I am not doing anything just after my computer loads.
Does anybody know what the reason of this is?

Power or other problems related to unexpected system sleep, shutdown, lights or fans justify an SMC reset. Read all the steps.
Before Resetting the SMC

I do not want to find a way every time and spend hours to connect THunderbird to Google calendar every new release. Why don't U solve this problem finally? Not everyone has special computer skills to find good APi or installation info, and many bullshits.

My external hard drive quit on me. Is there a way to get my content(pics, music and videos) back onto my computer- This is the pc and iTunes that I currently use with this iPod Classic 160gig. I don't want to lose all my info. please help. Thanks.

All my content is still on my iPod classic but my external HDD quit and is not accessible. I am wondering if I can put some of my content onto my PC(my iPod has more storage than my PC hahaha pretty bad) This is the PC I used with iTunes with so I don't think licensing is an issue- But can I upload back to my PC without iTunes wiping clean my iPod because there is no more content on PC/HDD? I know I may need to send my HDD away to to a Data Recovery Specialist. But if I can save a couple hundred bucks to couple thousand bucks I would prefer this method... mostly worried about photos- can't download these again. Next time I will buy a second back up.

You'll need to get yourself a new drive big enough to hold all the data you are going to recover and then reading the tip B-rock has pointed you to. Read it carefully, it should guide you through the steps to recover as much as possible. You are wise to be worried, just plugging in the iPod and clicking sync isn't good enough but it should be possible to recover to most if not all of it.

Scine installing FF4, I have to right click on a link to open it. Standard clicking does not work all the time.

In most websites I have to right-click a link and select open in new tab or new window to get the link to open. I cannot left click on a link and get the link to open.

you update it by connecting it to a computer running itunes and starting itunes up on the computer clicking on it in devices and clicking on the update button in the content menu
if it say you have the latests then it's because you don't own an iphone 3gs but an iphone 3g where the version 4.2.1 was the last released

Hello, how to disable the long horizontal Mozilla yellow strip, popping up and reminding us constantly to "update a plugin", which we don't want to update.
Disabling the ones below:
1/ plugins.update.notify User;true
2/ plugin.scan.plid.all;true
3/ dom.ipc.plugins.enabled;false
either does not help or disables completely Flash! What else to do with this ultra annoying "Update plugins" reminder, as we want to keep the older version 10 of Flash? We just do not want Flash v. 11 - it takes huge amount of CPU, while Version 10 works fine for all 'you tube" and "etc"... videos. No need for V.11. (Let us worry about viruses and security) But here it comes the so annoying Mozilla reminder to upgrade to Flash Version 11 - the yellow strip also takes screen space under the address bar. Please help. Very annoying - almost ready to switch to other browsers if this issue is not resolve. Other than that, the Mozilla 14 is great. Congratulations to all designing it. Thanks in advance. Try #5.
Some things to try first:
1. Turn Off your iPad. Then turn Off (disconnect power cord for 30 seconds or longer) the wireless router & then back On. Now boot your iPad. Hopefully it will see the WiFi.
2. Go to Settings>Wi-Fi and turn Off. Then while at Settings>Wi-Fi, turn back On and chose a Network.
3. Change the channel on your wireless router (Auto or Channel 6 is best). Instructions at http://macintoshhowto.com/advanced/how-to-get-a-good-range-on-your-wireless-netw ork.html
4. Go into your router security settings and change from WEP to WPA with AES.
5. Renew IP Address: (especially if you are droping internet connection)
    •    Launch Settings app
    •    Tap on Wi-Fi
    •    Tap on the blue arrow of the Wi-Fi network that you connect to from the list
    •    In the window that opens, tap on the Renew Lease button
