How can I turn on the WIFI on my iPhone 4s when it has turned itself off and is grayed out giving me no way to slide the button?

Apple recommends you change your Apple ID to your current, working email address. This will not create another Apple ID, it will only change it to your working email address. See Changing the name you use for your Apple ID if you'd like more information.

I have changed my Iphone once last year. My iphone has being playing up for the best part of 6 months. It Keeps deleting all my music of the phone. it freezes and will not allow me to turn it on or off. if i am in the middle of an app it will randomly shut it down and turn the phone off totally (even if it is charged.) It will not charge properly, it has to be in a exact position to charge and even then go's off and on. When you see an exclamation point in the Wi-Fi menu, from the menu bar, select
▹ System Preferences... ▹ Network

Assuming that you've ruled out those possibilities, restart the computer and try again. A sheet will drop down. Click the plus-sign button to create a new location. Give it any name you want. In the new location, set up the Wi-Fi service with the same settings you used before. If there's still no connection, and if you have control of the router, compare its settings to Apple's recommendations. Some third-party routers may be incompatible in 802.11b/g/n radio mode. Try setting the mode to 802.11n only. -

In "Settings" Wi-Fi is "Off" and will not allow me to turn it ack on. I ave turned the phone off but it does not Chang anything.
Try doing a reset on the iPhone,
Reset your iPhone by pressing the 'Sleep' and 'Home' button at the same time for about 15 seconds or so. Your iPhone will then go through a reset / reboot procedure and will be ready for use within about a minute.
Don't worry about doing this as you will not lose data or settings.

On my touch I have an iCloud backup message asking me to check my settings, when I click on settings nothing happens and the screen goes black. It will not allow me to turn my touch on or off. What should I do to rectify this?

I found an article with steps to take when you cannot enable Wi-Fi on your iPhone:
Resolution
Follow these steps to resolve the issue:
Verify that airplane mode is off by tapping Settings > Airplane Mode.
Reset the network settings by tapping Settings > General > Reset >Reset Network Settings.
Note: This will reset all network settings, including Bluetooth pairing records, Wi-Fi passwords, VPN, and APN settings
Ensure that your device is using the latest software. To do so, connect your device to your computer and check for updates in iTunes.
If your issue is still unresolved, perform a software restore in iTunes.

I try to open up another webpage on the same window, by clicking on the + Tab Button next to the current webpage Im viewing. For some reason it will not do anything. It will not open up.
This problem has been associated with the Ask toolbar. You could try disabling it here:
Tools > Add-ons > Extensions

HI hoping for help pls, laptop was recently repaired& cloned, now will not recognise iphone or ipad, only sees iphone as a camera. My iPhone 4S will not allow me to turn on wi-fi. The wi-fi on / off button in the settings menu is stuck in the off position. It is gray color and is inactive. Meaning that it will not allow me to turn wi-fi on and off. It is stuck in off only.
My phone has the latest iOS 6.0.1 installed.
I've tried resetting everything, I've tried hard reset, nothing works.
Any help would be appreciated.A hard reset will not resolve this issue. Attempt to restore the device as new (not from a backup) using itunes on a computer. If it still happens on your newly restored device, it's a hardware issue and the device would need to be replaced

If Apple serviced the phone, there is a 90 days warranty on the repair. Bring it back and let them check the phone.
