Has anyone experienced a white ring ( like a Cheerios or life saver candy shape) frozen in center of screen when viewing Facebook photos? You ca move the picture around with your finger, even minimize it and the ring is in the center of the screen. It is random not on all photos as you swipe through them. Could be on any profile photos. When you click done and go back into photos it disappears on the photo or photos that had it previous , but may sow up again on other photos . Again it's a perfect shaped white ring in center of screen. Only on Facebook.

Not familiar with that but it is worth trying a Reset [Hold the Home and Sleep/Wake buttons down together for 10 seconds or so (until the Apple logo appears) and then release. The screen will go blank and then power ON again in the normal way.] It is app and data safe!

Some things to try first:
1. Turn Off your iPad. Then turn Off (disconnect power cord for 30 seconds or longer) the wireless router & then back On. Now boot your iPad. Hopefully it will see the WiFi.
2. Go to Settings>Wi-Fi and turn Off. Then while at Settings>Wi-Fi, turn back On and chose a Network.
3. Change the channel on your wireless router (Auto or Channel 6 is best). Instructions at http://macintoshhowto.com/advanced/how-to-get-a-good-range-on-your-wireless-netw ork.html
4. Go into your router security settings and change from WEP to WPA with AES.
5. Renew IP Address: (especially if you are droping internet connection)
    •    Launch Settings app
    •    Tap on Wi-Fi
    •    Tap on the blue arrow of the Wi-Fi network that you connect to from the list
    •    In the window that opens, tap on the Renew Lease button

Note - When troubleshooting wifi connection problems, don't hold your iPad by hand. There have been a few reports that holding the iPad by hand, seems to attenuate the wifi signal.

HT203167 When I purchased a new iPad it asked me to create a iTunes account I did so by mistake not realizing that you can only have one iTunes account. All my music is on my original account so I want to stay with that account.

I have opened a second iTunes account when I purchased my iPad and downloaded movies and books to it that I have purchased on that account. All my music is on my original iTunes account so I was told at the apple store to keep that account only or I will loose all my music purchases. Is there a way to take my movies and books and apps I paid for to be put on my old iTunes account so I can close the new iTunes account I am not using?

1) authorize iTunes on the new machine for your iTunes store account(s)
2) connect your device and right-click or control-click it in the iTunes Source list, then choose transfer purchases from the shortcut menu that appears.
3) sync the device
iTunes will wipe the iPhone but, since you transferred your purchases in the previous step, your content will be in your library and you can re-populate the iPhone with it.

When you set up iCloud on a new device, you will get photos from Photo Stream (you will have to transfer them to the device), your contacts, calendars, notes, reminders and your iCloud mail address. All of this will be done automatically by iCloud when you log in iCloud on your device.

Did you take a backup in between taking the photos and deleting them ? If you did then try restoring to that backup (you will need to restore the whole iPad, you can't just do the Photos app) and they should be put back.

When you create new albums directly on your iPad and 'copy' photos into them you are effectively just creating pointers to the orginal photos, you aren't creating copies of the photos - so if you then delete the original photo you will also be deleting all pointers to and therefore be removing it from all albums that you've copied it into (you should have got a warning when deleting the photo that that would happen).

Usually it's because you are not making internet connection via wifi.

That's because the old owner still has it as a registrated device on his/her Apple ID. Contact with him/her and ask to remove the registrated device from the Apple ID, so you will be able to register it as your iPad

Quick answer if you use iTunes' default preferences settings: Copy the entire iTunes folder (and in doing so all its subfolders and files) intact to the other drive. Start iTunes with the option (shift on Windows) key held down and guide it to the new location of the library.

I would backup both iPads to either your computer (faster) or to iCloud (slower.) Then I would go to Settings/General/Reset and Erase all Content & Settings on each iPad. They will both restart as brand new iPads, ready for setup. Then I would restore each iPad to the correct backup; your stuff on the iPad 2 and her stuff on the new iPad.

Ive purchased a new ipad mini, installed itunes and tried to transfer content from my laptop that includes mp4 movies but its not allowing the movies to be transfered giving me the ipad/iphone message tone when trying to play the movies into the libary. Any help would be great!

Im going to assume the movies themselves were purchsed in itunes...i recommended seeing if itunes can add them itself...in yout music folder on your computer you will see a folder called itunes..do this click on the itunes folder then click on itunes media..in that folder you will see a folder called automatically add to itunes...drag and drop the files into that folder...itunes will read that files and if they are compatible with itunes itunes will auto add them to your library....i recommended closing itunes before you do this itunes will read better if it is closed when you auto add...when you open itunes go movies tab check all the tabs in movies (movies, unwatched, genres, home videos)if you dont see the movies in itunes after soemtime...check the add auto folder again...if you see a folder that says not added check and see if the files are in there if they are they are not compatible with itunes or the ipad and you will need to convert them
