The way I did it was I got the free app sync:stream from the App Store and then added my ipod to my ps3's Bluetooth devices. Then went to audio settings and set output and input to 'Skaggs iPod' you then open the app and it will be listed under music as a media service. You then go to all tracks and click copy (press triangle) it will then begin to copy all of your songs onto your ps3 via Bluetooth. I haven't tried but I assume the same can be done with photos. My white 8gb iPod Touch 4gen will not connect to wifi, I have reset the network and the entire iPod. When I got it for Christmas 2011 it worked perfectly for a few months then all of a sudden it stopped connecting, every connection I try to connect it to says the same thing; unable to join network... I am getting fed up, my first gen iPod Touch will connect to the wifi no problem, but the thing is it keeps crashing. I can't use it for more than a couple of minutes and it goes back to the home screen. If anyone could help, it is greatly appreciated!

Try the following to rule out a software problem:
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Power off and then back on the router
- Reset network settings: Settings>General>Reset>Reset Network Settings
- Restore from backup. See:
iOS: How to back up
- Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.
If still problem make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store since it appears you have a hardware problem.

My ipod touch 4g will not connect to my computer. Its not even in the device manager

My ipod touch 4g will not connect to my computer. Not to charge or connect to itunes. My usb ports work fine with everything else. I went and bought a new wall charger that came with a synce cord and it works fine, as a wall charger with wont work with my computer. Ive done the whole rebooting, re downloading itunes, redownloading apple software, the whole 9 yards.
What exactly happens when I plug my ipod touch 4g up if it turns on like it suppose to but instead of going to the home screeen with the little lighting bult in the battery is just acts like its not even plugged in. It just goes to connect to itunes screen.
I sent it to apple and they told me that whatever was wrong with it wasnt under warrenty but didnt tell me what it was. Ugh! It doesnt have water damage, I checked the indicators. So what do I do now? I would rather not go and get it fixed and spend 100 dollars. I would rather try and figure it out myself. Help please!

From what Apple said it appears you have a hardware problem. I would either pay to get it fixed or make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store and discus it with them.

Be sure you turn off all antivirus, spyware, zone alarm, firewall etc. And connect using a different USB hub.

My iPod touch 5 will not turn on.
It's not that it's dead, nor that I turned it off.
I left it on, wrapped my earbuds around it, plunged it into my backpack and headed out... In the rain.
I had an otterbox case on it too.
I come home, leave it to chill out before using it for about 20 minutes because it's also very cold outside. (15-20 degrees fahrenheit)
After 20 minutes pass, I need it for something. I try to turn it on, and nothing pops up.
No apple logo.
No empty battery photo.
Nothing.
I tried plugging it in in a variety of different wall plugs and computers.
Nothing.
iTunes doesn't open, iPhoto doesn't, nothing.
I don't want to reset it completely because I would lose over 1,000 photographs and memories.
I don't even know HOW I would go about resetting it considering it's not working.
So much for a "protective" case.
It was in a backpack, an otterbox case, and I was outside for about 2 minutes in the rain. I'm not sure what to do.

My ipod touch 1g will not play music on a sony audio docking system XDR-DS12iP. The sony dock recognises the ipod and recharges it, however it will not play any of my ipod tunes. I have also bought a ipod adaptor for a ipod 1g touch but this has not made any difference.
Please, please please can someone help me?

Help! My iPod touch 2G will not boot up!

My iPod touch 2G will not boot.
Heres the specs of the problem:
It turns on with an Apple logo with a spinning wheel under it.
I have tried editing the hosts file with the Apple server codes.
I have tried restoring 16 times. (I log what I do on it)
The iPod has never been jailbroken.
It is an MC model.
It is 8GB.
Its formated for Windows. (Windows 7)
iTunes 10.4
I have tried "The Tiny Umbrella TSS Server with SHSH blobs for iOS 4.1"
I tried "RecBoot" no luck.
My Mom will kill me if I can't fix this. I am going on a 9 hour vacation ride with 7 year old brothers that get really cranky. I leave August 6th, 2011. So I need to have it fixed before then. So i really, really, really need help!

Try uninstalling iTunes and installing the 10.4 iTunes that came out a few days ago. Click start, run and paste "%Userprofile%\Application Data\Apple Computer\iTunes\iPhone Software Updates" without quotes. Find iPod2,1_4.2.1_8C148_Restore.ipsw and delete it. Try restoring again and Tiny Umbrella is only for iPhones. Do not use it on iPod Touch or various errors appear. iPod Touches can downgrade at any time (idk about iOS 5). If it doesn't work, reply. :)

Are you positive these podcasts are configured to sync to your iPod Touch? Have you double checked the configuration for podcasts from under the iPod's Podcasts configuration tab in iTunes?
To access this tab, plug your iPod in and click on its name from under the Devices section in the left hand pane of iTunes. This will bring you to the iPod's Summary tab. Locate the Podcasts tab along the top and select it. Here you can choose how and what podcasts sync to your iPod.

- Are you sure you have a 2G iPod and not a 1G? Yucan can itell the difference here by the shape of the black antenna cover on the back of the iPOd.
