HT201407 I am trying to restore my ipod to remove a lot of bugs and delete not very useful information on it. its been stuck at the apple logo reboot screen for roughly 13 hours. what do i do to fix this? (im restoring it right now as i typed this)
I dont know what to do anymore. i feel like my ipod will be stuck forever

- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- Try on another computer
- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

my ipod has been stuck on the apple logo for two days after plugging my ipod into a macbook that has recently jailbroke a friends ipod. i did not jailbreak but my ipod still crashed. my home button is broken so i am not able to do all these home remedies i find on the internet. can apple help me or should i just give up on my ipod?
Place the iPod in recovery mode using one of these programs and then restore via iTunes:

My iPhone has been "frozen" for two hours now on the Apple logo, after me seeing a notification pop up and tell me I have to restore my device. And my device has been stuck since I started and does not seem to be making any progress besides vibratingf every three or so minutes. Why is this?

I went to update my software for my iPad 2 and my ipad has been frozen for hours on the connect to itunes screen. I unplugged it and tried to recover it but it doesn't work. When I connect it back to my computer it says ITunes has detected an ipad in recovery mode. You must restore this ipad before it can be used with itunes.

Take it to an Apple store to be evaluated; without a working power button, there is no further troubleshooting you can do.

Hi i was on facebook on my ipod touch and i deleted the app and when i went to open twitter it froze so i restarted holding down the lock and home key and now it won't turn back on its just stuck on the apple logo screen even if i try to reset it again it just goes back to the apple logo. I tried to plug it into the computer and nothing happened. Then it flashed a white screen and when back to the apple logo screen.

While I was updating to the new software for my iphone 4s, my wifi gave out and the update was unable to completely download. From then on, my iphone has been stuck at the apple logo screen. I have tried restarting it and plugging it in to my mac, but no luck. Any suggestions?

Did you try rebooting the iPad? You will need to have some battery power for this.
Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.
