HT201407 I need my new iPhone's UDID without connecting to iTunes or downloading apps, how do I do it?
I just got my iPhone 4S, and it refuses to activate without registering as part of the iPhone Developer Program. I need the UDID to do that, but I can't find it because my iTunes won't accept it unregistered and I can't use any apps. What should I do? I put in an activated SIM card already, and the phone recognizes it, but I can't move past the message "This device is not registered as part of the iPhone Developer Program." I cannot get to the UDID which I need to register it, because I can't activate and access the phone without the UDID! My iTunes won't recognize the device because it's unregistered and gives me the same message as well, so I can't check the device summary for it. How will I do this?
I believe that the iPhone Configuration Utility will give it to you as well, that saves the large Xcode download. http://www.apple.com/support/iphone/enterprise/ The download is partly down the page.

Click on the App Store icon. If it takes you to Apple's App Store, then it's a real iPhone.
But if you are directed to Google Play, then I'm afraid you've gotten a copy. -

I just upgraded to an iPhone 5 and I restored my phone from my computer. I was going to update my apps and I couldn't connect to the App Store. I tried signing out and signing back in but it wouldn't let me sign in again. I also tried setting the date a year ahead and signing in then set it back to automatically and tried signing in with no luck. I would like to be able to access the App Store but everything I've tried has failed. Is there some way this issue can be resolved?
Also A good number of apps that I had on my iPhone 4 were missing after I restored my iPhone 5. I backed up my iPhone 4 on my computer before I got the iPhone and I know those apps were backed up but they didn't get restored. -
Received an authorized unlock code from apple/AT&T for my off-contract 3GS (8GB). Per the “Completing Authorized iPhone Unlock” instructions, I connected to iTunes to back up and restore so my iPhone can be unlocked! But after the restore my iPhone is stuck at the activation screen, it will not activate saying “Your iPhone cannot be activated because the activation server is temporarily unavailable”. I tried this again and again for countless times, no way! I have my old AT&T simcard and other carrier’s simcard. Both will not help. Please help me to activate and start using my phone.

I got like the same problem, last days I get message to restore my iPhone, so I did it yesterday and it work very well. In the afternoon I saw that at top in the left corner show invaild sim card or so (only knew the german version). so I restore it again but now it won`t activate after I enter SIM-PIN and it accept it, it shows "No Service".
Anybody can help? My Carrier is o2 Germany.

My new iPhone 4S (week old) can't connect to iTunes, App Store or iBooks via Wi-Fi (and some other apps e.g. Hollister – but most of the other apps like Safari or ebay work fine). There is no problem with those apps loading via 3G network. When I turn off the wi-fi, it runs over 3G and i can access App store without any problem. When i turn off the 3G network and turn the Wi-Fi on, those apps like App Store won't work, other apps work fine. When i turn on both Wi-Fi and 3G, the App store (and so on) is also not working, other apps are.
I also found out that when the Wi-fi is on and I sign out my apple ID, the App store starts working! But when I log in again, it will imediatelly stop working. I've tried logging in with others apple IDs, still with the same result. There is no problem with my apple ID account, because it works on my iPad, even via Wi-Fi.
When i first set up my iPhone, there were no complications using App store ia Wi-fi with exactly the same account. I don't know if it has anything to do with it, but this problem started when i logged in with my UK account and then wanted to log back in with my Czech account.
I tried turning it off, hard reset and deleting my iPhone several time (even without back up). Nothing worked since then.
Does anyone have any idea how to fix this?
I would really appreciate ANY help. This porblem is driving me crazy!I am also having the same issue. Please help!

New iPhone 4S will not connect to itunes!
Hello I hope someone can help. I just got my new iphone 4s. Had a 3GS before which worked perfectly with itunes syncing etc. I turned on the new phone today and went through initial set up prompts until it asked me to connect to itunes. I plugged it in and nothing happened. Usually itunes would boot up and recognise the iphone but it registered nothing. The iphone made the charging noise and then nothing. I have already done a sim swap and now cannot get the phone to work and cannot call for help as my phone wont work.
My macbook is around 5 years old and is version 10.4.11. The version of itunes I am using is 9.
Please can someone help me out or offer some advice on what is going wrong here!

I have just received a new iPhone 4s and have restored it from the last back up I did before I got the new phone, however, after I do the restore the only option I get is to click on "Done" at the top of the page but then no data or information from my phone shows up and when I click on the "iPhone" button on the top right hand side of the page it takes me back to the previous page and gives me the option to set up a new phone or restore again. I have just restored my husbands iPhone 5 and had no issues at all. They were both backed up on the same day last week.
That does happen. It depends on how hard the server is being hit, as well as the connection speed of your system. If you are on a windows system, you will want to disable any antivirus or firewall software during the download.

How do I use an existing purchased ringtone on my new iPhone 6 without having to pay for it again?
Do you have a copy of it anywhere e.g. in the Tones part of your computer's iTunes library ? If you do then you can sync it to your phone from there.
Ringtones are a one-time only download from the store, if you redownload it then you will be charged for doing so. -
Brand New iPhone 3G can't connect to iTunes (0xe8000001 error)
Hi - I just got a new iPhone 3G on Saturday (09/06/08) and I haven't been able to connect it at all to my iTunes on my home computer (The dreaded '0xE8000001' error keeps popping up!). I even went and bought a USB 2.0 PCI card and installed it thinking that the internal USB 1.0 was the problem.
When I plug in the iPhone, it launches iPhoto (even when I plug it into the USB 1.1) so I know it recognizes it. I have re-started the iPhone, installed iTunes 8 and even tried creating the Lockdown folder in my Library (mentioned in another thread) and I'm not having any luck.
ANY help at this point would be much appreciated.
Thanks.Well, this is gonna sound really asinine but I have been connecting the iPhone to my computer AFTER I launch iTunes. So just for the heck of it, I quit iTunes and then connected my iPhone and lo and behold, it worked! Totally insane.
Hopefully, this may help others that are experiencing the same problem.

Second (brand new) iPhone 4 stuck on "connect to iTunes" while trying to update.
My iphone 4 was stuck on the "Connect to iTunes" screen, and NOTHING I did fixed it. I took it to the Apple store, got a brand new iPhone 4, and it bricked again while trying to update to iOS7. Same thing... stuck on "Connect to iTunes". I'm connecting to a PC.
What else can I try??The iTunes version is 11.1.2.32, and there are no error messages. I'm trying to restore from backup eventually. But for now I can't even restore to factory settings. I've tried DFU mode, and that does not work, or at least I'm can't even be certain it's going into DFU mode.
Windows gives and audible noise to signify that a USB device is connected, so I know that somewhere beneath the surface Windows knows it is connected, but iTunes doesn't react at all, and the Windows file explorer, and even the drive manager in adminstrative tools, don't even show a volume connected. -
My brand new iphone 5s won't connect to Itunes. HELP!!!
I just got this Iphone today and It connect to my itunes, I ran the diagnostic test on it and it says the problem is simply that itunes won't regconize it. It's not the cable or the USB port, I have the latest version of Itunes. I DO NOT UNDERSTAND!!!!

I am having trouble accessing the iTunes Store on my new phone. It keeps saying I can't connect to the iTunes Store and it throws up the same error on my computer giving me the error code 5002. I have tried many fixes but none of them work. Anyone know any definite fixes?

my 5s asks if I can trust this pc when trying to connect. this is the only pc ive ever used. now it wont import pictures and won't sync with itunes
