hi, i have just upgraded to the i phone 5 from the 4s, i have done a back up and transfrerred all content to my i phone 5 but cannot get apps to transfer how do you do this please?
Apps are not part of the backup. You need to sync them to the iPhone from iTunes on your computer or re-download them from the iTunes Store. For the latter option, see:

actually i never stole the software,i was told to upgrade to this beta 7 to fix my phones problem with signal,i did not know it had to be paid for,or that it would break my phone even more as i am no developer and know hardlys anything about phones never mind developing them ! if i knew for one second that it had to be paid for i would have not got it,but if that is the case,why dont i have to pay for all my other updates ive had on my phone?apart from that,does anyone know how i can get my phone back to 6.1.3 firmware.thankyou for any help offered.now i think i will go and give this phoneshop assistant a peice of my mind as his reccomendation has totally wrecked my phone :/

I have the i phone 3G version 3.1.3. I am currently upgrading to the i phone 4 GS and want to transfer all data from old phone!
Unfortunatly my 3G will not sync to i tunes :( and I don't want to lose all my photos etc!

My husband and I have 2 centro (AT&T) phones. We would like to share our calendar information with each other. He has the Palm Desktop program downloaded on his work computer. He is using the Outlook calendar at work. We would also like to download the Palm program downloaded on our home computer. But we weren't sure if 2 different users can access it, etc. How do we do it correctly? Do we have to use one username for both Palm Desktop? Does the computer recognize the 2 phones? How do we transfer information between the 2 phones? We do not have a data plan. We would like to use the USB cable to avoid data charges. Also, if his centro takes calendar/contacts from Outlook at work, do we have to do the same at home? Can the Centro sync with both Palm Desktop calendar and Outlook calendar at the same time?

Post relates to: Centro (AT&T)Yes he can sync it with palm desktop at home. But if you want to share calendar and use different usernames, then you cannot do it with palm desktop but you can if you use outlook.

It sounds that you are running the same iCloud account with two phones. I recommend you to create a different iCloud account and you should be all set.

My iPad is stuck in the head phone mode, how do I reverse this?. I have reset to manufacturer mode, I have slid the side button, the button is on lock rotation, I have cleaned the headphone hole . Nothing seems to work.
I had the same problem. My power cord got disconnected and the IPad just froze on this 1 screen. What worked for me is holding down both the POWER and the HOME buttons at the same time until the IPad dies, or goes back to home screen (i guess). Mine died. But thats because i had not charged it.
Anyways! Hope this helps anyone with the same problem!

I lost my connection with my AirPort Base Station when I upgraded to the OS Maverick. I can still see the Internet, but the Time Machine cannot backup now because it cannot locate the AirPort base station. How can I resolve this issue?
Steps already taken with zero success:
1. Restarted the AirPort Base Station multiple times.
2. Restarted the Mac Pro multiple times.
3. Looked online for AirPort update for 6.3.2 version.
Other Apple products in my house can still see the AirPort Base Station, however my Mac Pro and Mac Book Pro cannot.
Please advise.That information helps. If you want to use one of the SmartStor's disks as a repository for sharing your iTunes Library, then do not configure that disk as a RAID. Format it with Disk Utility using the Erase tab. Mac OS Extended (Journaled) is the correct choice.
Connect it to your Time Capsule, then use AirPort Utility to configure access requirements for sharing it on your network. It should appear as a shared volume in the Finder, available to all your Macs as you thought it should.
I also thought maybe the extra HD space would be added to the existing Airport Disk. It isn't.
Correct. There is no way to do that. The only way to increase the capacity of a Time Capsule's hard disk is to replace the Time Capsule (or its disk, if you are amenable to disassembling it) with a larger capacity model.
If you also want to use the SmartStor as a RAID, that is another story, and you should probably attack that problem separately.
