When I type on iPad, there is a spot on iPad does not response whenever I touch on screen or try to type. Any thoughts?

First thing to try is a reboot of your device. Press and hold the Home and Sleep buttons simultaneously ignoring the red slider until the Apple logo appears. Let go of the buttons and let the device restart. See if that fixes your problem.
And it could just be a defective screen. If the reboot didn't help I'd make an appointment at an Apple store for a consultation.

I think I solved it.
I tried to restart in safe mode and lost my Finder icon from the Dock. So I searched forum and solution was to copy Dock.app. (HD>System>Library>CoreServices). I installed OS X on my external drive, updated to 10.5.1 and copied the Dock.app from external drive to my internal HD (while booted from external drive). It fixed the missing Finder icon and the Dashboard "Manage Widgets .." button.

Has the touch ever worked? if not IMEDIANTLY return it to Apple! They will replace it for you. Even it has worked before, I would still bring it to Apple, and they'll replace it for you, for free. I dropped my new iPhone 5 and it got all strathced up and they replaced it free, so I'm sure they'll replace something like that.

When I use spot remover and click on the item I want to remove it hightlights it but does not remove the item

Is your Opacity set to 100%?
If you press the "H" key does it show where it is getting the replacement from?

If a portion of the screen does not respond to the touch, you probably need to visit a genius bar and have them check it out for you.

Try reset iPad
Hold down the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears
Note: Data will not be affected.

The touchscreen does not response sometime

1)Get no response from the touchscreen when I tried to use it on the plane, I couldn't even shut it down.
2)Many times on land, no response or false functioning on touchscreen, even after restart.

The only time that I have had a problem with the touch screen not responding is when I have done a number of things in a short period of time or that appear to be interacting with the wireless features. For example, sometimes when I am in email and I am deleting a bunch of messages, after deleting a list of them the phone will stop responding and no matter how much I hit delete on the next message nothing happens. I have just taken that to mean that the software is just still doing something in the background and I may have maxed out the internal memory capability for that moment. It generally takes a few seconds and then the phone will start responding again.
Also, every once in awhile in Google maps using Edge, sometimes I am asking it to do something else before the prior request has completed and it is like it is still trying to catch up with the last thing I requested. However, I haven't taken either of those instances to mean anything different than when I've maxxed out the internal RAM on my computer momentarily by being impatient and trying to do to many things concurrently or when I've tried to move to a new Internet site before the last one has completely loaded so that I have had to do a refresh. Unless I am missing some greater technical problem neither of those have struck me as anything out of the ordinary from what you experience periodically on a normal computer.

What do you mean by system update?
Did you try to update the Windows OS or the BIOS?
Does the notebook boot up using a bootable disk like recovery disk, windows disk, Linux live disk, etc???
Disconnect the ac adaptor and remove the battery wait some time e.g. 1hour.
Then connect both parts again and try to power up the unit.

IPad could not make purchase and itunes support does not response?

I've sent out quite a number of email to the respective in itunes support and none of them response back.
Automated email said within "24hours" then become "48 hours" but until now, no response too.
This is just so rude and unresponsive to consumer.
Recently i need to purchase in-app items with my newly bought iPad, but when i tried make to make a purchase it pop up an error "Your Purchase Could Not Be Completed"... please contact support etc. Problem is that when i make a purchase using my iphone, it worked. But no matter what i do for iPad, it failed.
This frustrated me as i need to purchase an item in-apps in which the promotion is coming to due date. Till the promotion end, the error still left unresolved.
My IOS is latest, restart iPad, check setting for iTunes in-apps purcahse setting etc has been checked and done on my side.
I've do quite a bit of research on this issue and none of them worked out for me, thus my direction left me with only apple itune support.
Sadly as mentioned above, none of them reply.
Do anyone have any complains path whereby i wish to lodge an complain to higher level.

My daughter has had her Razr for about 9 months now. About two weeks ago she picked up her phone in the morning on her way to school when she noticed two cracks, both starting at the camera lens. One goes completely to the bottom and the other goes sharply to the side. She has never dropped it and me and my husband went over it with a fine tooth comb. We looked under a magnifying glass and could no find any reason for the glass to crack. Not one ding, scratch or bang. Our daughter really takes good care of her stuff, but we still wanted to make sure before we sent it in for repairs. Well we did and we got a reply from Motorola with a picture of the cracks saying this was customer abuse and that it is not covered under warranty. Even though they did not find any physical damage to back it up. Well I e-mailed them back and told them I did a little research and found pages of people having the same problems. Well I did not hear from them until I received a notice from Fed Ex that they were sending the phone back. NOT FIXED!!! I went to look up why and guess what there is no case open any more for the phone. It has been wiped clean. I put in the RMA # it comes back not found, I put in the ID #, the SN# and all comes back not found. Yet a day earlier all the info was there. I know there is a lot more people like me and all of you, but they just don't want to be bothered so they pay to have it fix, just to have it do it again. Unless they have found the problem and only fixing it on a customer pay only set up. I am furious and will not be recommending this phone to anyone. And to think I was considering this phone for my next up grade! NOT!!!!

Flash Player Settings Manager does not response in AIR HTML control

We are working on a AIR application which is quite big and have around 22 modules. We have some of the functionalities which open an URL inside a browser (HTML control of AIR SDK). Most of the URL related functionalities are working fine in AIR HTML control but have a problem with one functionality. The functionality opens an URL of Flash based application in AIR HTML control which on launch shows the followuing screen
and when I try to click on either allow or deny button they do not respond however you may close this NativeWindow Object. Actually we are putting AIR HTML control inside NativeWindow obejct and then opening it. when we tried to open this application directly from browser (IE 9.0) it was working perfectly. the settings box came and allowed me to click on allow and behave accordingly.
Please suggest some workaround.

Just registering that I have the same problem as well. Tried flash 10.0.42 on Firefox 3.5.5 and IE 8. I had this problem on two seperate windows XP machines, both running SP 3.
Anyone have an idea as to what's up?

The project I'm working on first ran on tomcats under Windows, then on tomcats on Spars/Solaris and now on jboss servers with integrated tomcats, also running on Sparc/Solaris.
Using https mainly, we usually have about 400 concurrent user sessions open at a time.
On Windows, the tomcats usually crashed within three weeks of operation.
On Unix they can run for months.
So, unless you plan to use a clustered environment, I can only recommend using unix servers. Relying on a single Windows box is suicide.
There is a memory leak in the javac compiler, so if you keep compiling jsp files, your box will crash eventually.
I must say however, that I'm still suspicious. I started a jboss node 10 days ago and there are currently 544 threads running, most of them connector threads. The java runtime has allocated 720 MB memory and uses 270 MB of it.
It seems to me, that even the new Coyote Connectors use one thread per connection. Since the tomcat crew decided to build tomcat with JDK 1.4, I'm wondering, whether they will also start to use the nio capabilities soon. By using asynchronous IO mechanisms, the number of threads used could be reduced dramatically.
Currently, I do not see that connector threads get pruned at all.
All I see is that new ones get created. Yesterday, I disconnected the above mentioned jboss node from the cluster, but didn't shuit it down. Today it still has the same number of threads running, the same memory requirements.
This is not OK, of cause.
The tomcat developers themselves recommend to run tomcat behind an apache server for production environments. Personally, I admit that this could increase the overall stability but I refuse to do this nonetheless. I want to keep the non-java portion of our system as small as possible... ;)
