HT201412 Iphone 5s went dead, wont restart

my iphone 5s just turned itself off, does not restart... was charged about 50% when it went dead (black screen). Pressed & held the sleep/wake button. Recharge it and verified cable is working, but screen remains black, any ideas?

i got my new ipone 4s yesterday afternoon, played a little bit. then in the evening went to completely dead after i put in to my pockeckt for 10 mins. no reaction even with power plugged in. I was able to recharge it this morning (plugged in and see the charging icon).
this afternoon (the 2nd day) I sent a message and left it on the table for a few mins, did not get the msg back then relized it went dead again. my friend did a reset for me and saw the battery has 65% left..

My iPhone 5s went dead permanently, it was fine and one day while in my car I had it plugged into the auxiliary and the charger and when I turned the ac on it made noise and went dead. Restarted it and was fine for a couple weeks and then it just died and it won't charge come on, it does absolutely nothing, it's not even a year old

Not even a year old is great! (Not that it died, but that it did so within warranty.)
Apple has a one year warranty on all phones. Dig out your proof of purchase, or date of activation and contact Apple for a replacement.

I did disable the security (AVG and Zone Alarm) when I tried on my own PC. My wife's laptop which eventually got it working also uses AVG and Zone Alarm but on an XP O/S whereas my PC is Vista - maybe this is why.

Today my iPhone 4S went dead at 51%, tried to turn it on and said it was dead and needed to charge, waited around 15 mins to try turn it back on ( I didn't charge it ) and it turned on but went to 46% , then at 41% the same thing happened! And it happened again at 29% I only have it a week and it's doing this! Can someone please help?:(

My iphone 4s went dead, recovered and dies twice or more times a day after that

My Iphone 4s was found dead during the day. I did a hard reset and manage to open it, asked me to restore it again and succesfully worked for less than a day. This is happening for the last 5 days. Today it went dead 5 times. I bought this device in the USA and now i am in Greece where Apple does not provide a direct service, only via the local carriers who service only the ones they sale. This is not a propper commercial attitude.

What made the trick for me was to drain the phone completely - until it dies. (It took quite a while to go from 3% to 0...). Then, charge it overnight.
Previous days I would start charging it with the battery at 10-15%, on red. Also for the last week I've been trying disabling functions, with the hope of finding what was the "offending" piece but without much success. Still was loosing about 10% per hour, just by using it to check emails, maps, and sometimes a call.
Today is almost two hours since I left home, with everything turned on again, used mail, maps with traffic during the ride to work, some browsing - using it "normally" - and the battery is still at 95%.
That looks more like normal to me.!!
Might try to drain it to 0% again as many other suggested, but if it is a battery charger "calibration", it shouldn't be necesary to do it more than once.

select your product and problem
put your number when it asks for them to get your serial number
hit send send it in or take in for services type your information
If you send in for servace and hit send me a box theyll send one in like 3 days for you to get one

My iphone that i purchased in september just went completely dead. It won't charge, the battery was on 60% when I put in my purse and now nothing. Nada. No phone. Help! I dread having to go to the AT&T store or worse the Apple store.

Hold Sleep/Wake + Home buttons down for 30 seconds. Then hit Wake button. See if it comes on. Also, you might try and see if iTunes recognizes it. If so, try restoring it.

If it is showing the Apple logo with no progress bar or a stopped progress bar, for over ten minutes.

How can i get my iphone 4 back up after it went dead. It had plenty of power, and it will not come up even after i hold down the home and power buttons for 30 seconds.

My iphone 4 went dead even when there was plenty of batery life. I ran through the reboot for holding down the home button with the power button and it still did not come back up. Any thoughts?

Plug it into a wall outlet for at least 30 minutes, then try resetting it again. If no respose, you most likely have a hardware issue. Make an appointment at an Apple store.

Try using a differnt USB cord. Or hold down the power/home button together for 10 to 15 sec or until you see the apple logo and then release, wait for your phone to boot back up.
