This is an iPad user to user forum, so you are not addressing Apple. Depending on how many user helpers are on-line, it may take several hours, or longer, to get a response.
Try this - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. (This is equivalent to rebooting your computer.) No data/files will be erased.

My Location/Search Bar has no memory. It does not remember what I type in.

My Location/Search Bar has no memory. It does not remember what I type in it when I am doing Google Searches. I have had this problem for over a week now.

I guess I would call it the "Google.com" Web Site. It is the horizontal bar/box in the middle of the screen (not at the top). Whenever I would do a Google Search, whatever name I typed in that box would stay there until I manually deleted it. Now, nothing stays in that box. Can you figure out why?

That is the way it works. It designed to do that.
In addition to everything else you have to this other person's computer you would have to move your complete iTunes library over also. Only then will it recognize youriTouch.

Firefox tells me an update is being installed. I see the dots moving. I exit everything else and wait for the update to complete.
It goes on for several hours showing the dots moving. Apparently, nothing is really happening. I shut the computer down when I go to bed. When I reboot, I see the same thing, and get the same results. I've checked the help database, and the previously asked questions, but can't find anything. Any suggestions?

Problem: JSP does not restore after downloading Excel.

I have a "search.jsp" with a commandButton to generate excel. "Report.jsp" opens up in a new window when i click on this button by running below mentioned javascript. I can download Excel successfully by clicking on Download Excel link in report,jsp. Problem is, once i close this new window, I am unable to perform any other action in "search.jsp" even if i do not perform download. If i click on any other button or link "search.jsp", it replaces whole jsp with the Downlaod Excel link. and nothing happens after that . i need to close the seesion and start all over again from login page. Does anyone has solution. It will be big help. Thanks.

Try upgrading JSF. I recall a Javascript-specific bug like this in a specific webbrowser. You could try to test in different webbrowsers. The latest JSF 1.2 is currently 1.2_14 which came out just 3 weeks ago. You can get it at [http://javaserverfaces.dev.java.net].
Oh, you certainly need to invoke `FacesContext#responseComplete()` afterwards. This is really not the problem.

Computer does not start,,, What should I do?

When I turn on my PowerBook, the chime sounds, and then the Apple logo appears. Under the apple, the wheel starts to turn. This is what I should expect up till this point. However, the wheel rotates forever. I am unable to access any of my files on the computer, and am unable to proceed to Mac OS X. How can I resolve this issue?

Try starting up in Safe Mode, by hitting the power button and immediately after the chime hold down the "Shift" key until the grey apple appears. It will take a little longer than normal to boot. When it starts up, log in, empty the Trash, and restart normally. See the article What is Safe Boot, Safe Mode? (Mac OS X)
