I hold the power and home button to resetit but it just goes back to the NAND or apple logo screen. Also, other times it goes to a white screen so im just very frustrated. HELP PLEASE.
    The NAND Screen says:

    Hey guys,
    I had this problem with one of my customers two days after changing their screen. Error 4013. Phone was showing codes when trying to turn on and wouldn't let me restore the phone. Luckily i love what i do so i went deep into it till i found what was causing the problem. After multiple fails of trying to restore the phone i decided to take it apart. I tried multiple new screens on to see if the screen was the one giving me a issue, but no.
    I decided to disconnect my proximity / camera flex cable while leaving the screen connected( don't try this is you don't know what you are doing!) and tried the restore and VOILA! It did the restore.  I got all the screen back together and problem was there again!
    Finnally, i decided to change the proximity/camera flex with a new one and use 1 of the 3 screens that had given me the same error! And problem fix, phone turned on perfectly, no codes.
    This worked for me, hopefully it works for you. Please comment if you try this and it works, maybe it will help other or maybe apple fix the issue.
    This was done on an iPhone 5

  • HT201412 getting error message 1202 when loading iheart radio

    getting error message 1202 when trying to access iheart radio

    some folks with vista have found a work around by right clicking on 'redeem' and selecting 'copy'. Then go to internet explorer and paste and hit enter. You may now be able to redeem your cards this way.
    This issue appears to be a certificate issue with the system. Unfortunately windows does not have a link to install these root certificates from the website for vista like you can XP, so you cannot reinstall them if something gets corrupted.
    You may have to redeem on another computer or email itunes through expresslane.apple.com with the codes from the gift cards and explain the situation. they may be able to redeem them to your account for you.
    The last alternative would be to get a Mac.

    My questions is why setcrdcotext is giving me insufficient privileges and setvpdcontext works fine. Is it that only context is allowed schema?. In user_objects I can't see my context, is their any other data dictionary view to view the details of the context.
    Any help will be highly appreaciated.
    Regards,
    Rashida

    Sorry Rashida, I've misunderstood your code.
    Looking better into your code I notice there's a diffeence between the two procedures.
    In the former:
    CREATE OR REPLACE function setCRDContext(iv_data_str VARCHAR2) RETURN INTEGER AS
    lv_error_msg VARCHAR2(200);
    lv_string VARCHAR2(20);
    lv_namespace VARCHAR2(50) := 'Context_Trig_CRD';
    lv_context VARCHAR2(50) := 'Trig_Crd';
    BEGIN
    dbms_session.set_context(lv_namespace,
    lv_context,
    iv_data_str);
    RETURN 1;
    EXCEPTION
    WHEN OTHERS THEN
    lv_error_msg := 'Error: '||SUBSTR(SQLERRM,1,200);
    dbms_session.set_context(lv_namespace,
    lv_context,
    NULL);
    RETURN 0;
    END setCRDContext;
    /You execute set_context a first time, this raises the exception 1031 and sends you to the exception handler where you execute the set_context again and getting the 1031 error again.
    In the latter (successful) procedure :
    CREATE OR REPLACE function setVPDContext(iv_data_str VARCHAR2) RETURN INTEGER AS
    lv_error_msg VARCHAR2(200);
    lv_string VARCHAR2(20);
    lv_namespace VARCHAR2(50) := 'Context_VPD';
    lv_context VARCHAR2(50) := 'SYSTEM_IDENTIFIER';
    BEGIN
    IF NVL(TRIM(SYS_CONTEXT('Context_VPD', 'SYSTEM_IDENTIFIER')),'-1') != NVL(TRIM(iv_data_str),'-1') THEN
    dbms_session.set_context(lv_namespace,
    lv_context,
    iv_data_str);
    END IF;
    RETURN 1;
    EXCEPTION
    WHEN OTHERS THEN
    lv_error_msg := 'Error: '||SUBSTR(SQLERRM,1,200);
    dbms_session.set_context(lv_namespace,
    lv_context,
    NULL);
    RETURN 0;
    END setVPDContext;
    /You don't execute set_context at all if the condition
    NVL(TRIM(SYS_CONTEXT('Context_VPD', 'SYSTEM_IDENTIFIER')),'-1') != NVL(TRIM(iv_data_str),'-1')evaluates to false. So if the condition it's false your code goes straight to RETURN 1 and exits without errors.
    This can explain the different behaviour.
    To find you error I suggest you to read the following intresting note by Arup Nanda
    >
    ERROR at line 1:
    ORA-01031: insufficient privileges
    ORA-06512: at "SYS.DBMS_SESSION",
    Note the error, ORA-01031:insufficient privileges, which is actually a little misleading. The user does have the execute privilege on SYS.DBMS_SESSION, but the setting of a context attribute by calling it is illegal and hence the error occurs. However, when the user calls the trusted procedure to set the context attribute:
    SQL> execute set_my_app_ctx ('AAAA')
    PL/SQL procedure successfully completed.
    it is successful. Because the context attributes can be set only through its procedure, it is aptly called the trusted procedure. This is an important property of the application context and will be exploited in FGA.
    The context attribute, once set, can be retrieved by calling the function SYS_CONTEXT. After the context is set in the code above, it can be seen by
    select sys_context('MY_APP_CTX','APP_USERID') from dual;
    which returns the value of the attribute. If the context can be set in a secure manner, it can be used to set the client identifier.
    Based on what we know, a possible solution could look like this:
    The application executes the procedure code that sets the application context automatically to the correct value. In the above example, the context attribute for userid has been used, but another one — such as the role of the user — could have been used. You can define more than one attribute inside a context. The attribute can be used as the enabled role. The trusted procedure can include all types of security checks to make it secure and authentic. If these security checks fail, the desired role is not set. So even if the user can successfully log in using APPUSER account, he will not be able to manipulate data because the appropriate role will not be enabled. Note that the roles must be procedure-authenticated roles, not regular ones. Such roles are created by the command CREATE ROLE <role_name> USING <procedure_name>; and the user enables the role by calling the <procedure_name>, not SET ROLE command.
    This procedure also sets the client identifier; so there is no need to grant execute privileges on dbms_session to public, not even this user. Because the user does not have the privileges to call the API, they cannot set the client identifier directly—rather, it will be set automatically and carried forward to the fine-grained audit trails.

    Today my IPad has crashed with this text at the top of the screen - it keeps rebooting bu won't go any further past this piece of text.
    The full error text shown is:

    And then gets no further.
    What is this, does this mean something has burnt out and how do I get the tablet repaired ? I live in the UK and the serial no. of the 16 GB IPad is:
    DN6HDMTNDFJ1
    I so need this tablet for my work and need to get it back up and going again.
    Many thanks,

    Have you tried resetting it? I.e. Hold down the sleep/wake button and the Home button simultaneously until you see the Apple logo appear, then release them and see if the iPad will startup okay.

    Above is the error that I started receiving this morning. The phone wasn't plugged into anything and appeared to have turned off due to a low battery. The phone was unresponsive when I hit the lock screen button or home button. When I plugged it into a wall outlet with the original USB cord and wall adapter, it initially showed that it had a low battery. After a few minutes once it had enough power to start, the Apple logo displayed normally for a few seconds and then the screen went dim and displayed the above error.
    I then pushed and help the lock screen button and home button together until it turned off to hard reset it. I held the home button and plugged it into my Mac Mini so that it would go into recovery mode.
    When iTunes finally gives up, it will throw an unexpected error of either 4005 or 4013

    First try resetting your phone - hold the HOME and SLEEP buttons at the same time until an Apple logo appears.
    If that doesn't work restore the phone using Recovery Mode: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1808.
    And if that fails it is probably a hardware failure (unless the phone is jailbroken; then that is the problem).

    I looked online people are saying that this is a manufacter defect and something internally caused it that can't be done by users.
    so what should I do ?!!!!!

    I just finished doing that and now I am getting the 1603 error.
    I looked it up and it says
    Follow the steps listed above for Error 1604. Also, discard the .ipsw file, open iTunes and attempt to download the update again. See the steps under Advanced Steps > Rename, move, or delete the iOS software file (.ipsw) below for file locations. If you do not want to remove the IPSW in the original user, try restoring in a new administrator user. If the issue remains, Eliminate third-party security software conflicts.
    the thing is I do not have any security software on this PC to begin with I am uninstalling iTunes and renstalling it again before trying one more time.
