I've had my iPhone for almost 2 years. This morning when I tried to use my phone A computerized voice started speaking the commands but the commands don't work. I didn't even know there was a voice function on this phone. I can't seem to do anything with the phone now.

You have "Voice Over" on:
Press Home.
Tap Settings. Then double-tap Settings.
Tap General. Then double-tap General.
Use three fingers on the screen to scroll to Accessibility.
Tap Accessibility. Then double-tap Accessibility.
Tap VoiceOver. Then double-tap VoiceOver.
Tap "On" next to VoiceOver. Then double-tap "On" to turn it off.
You have to tap, then double-tap to select the numbers to enter your passcode.

Go back to iTunes, select the Music tab, uncheck the 'sync music; button, then hit apply.

So when you plug it into your computer, you're not getting a message in iTunes that it has discovered a phone in recovery mode?
Reboot both the computer and the phone and try again.

My 2nd gen touch has suddenly got a fuzzy screen but otherwise appears to work

I had a replacement touch from apple last March and all worked well until a few weeks ago. The screen has gone fuzzy, almost grey but beneth you can still see apps. All apps work so no problems with screen. Took to genius Ba in Cambridge today and they haven't any ideas other than replace for another £75! Could it be an LED problem or a loos connection?

Try to reset it. Hold down the sleep and home keys for about 20 seconds. When you see the silver apple, let go and let it reboot (presuming it does)

The normal method for constructing a network is to have the modem/router at the head end supply the DHCP and NAT functions while secondary routers are placed in Bridge mode. Your network would function correctly if the TC's connection sharing were set to Off (Bridge Mode). In this case, the Netgear would function as your main router creating a "g" network and the TC could be configured to "create a wireless network" which could be "n" if you desire.
However, you specify that you want the TC to be the main router, supplying the DHCP and NAT services. This might be possible if the Netgear can function literally as two completely separate devices; One a modem and two a router. Even then, the modem would need to be configured as a bridge since the TC would be furnishing the connection credentials.
And, it gets more complicated. Does the Netgear have this capability? Probably not as I quickly glance at the web page on the product. My impression is that it was likely designed to be an all-in-one modem/router. Do you have additional information to the contrary?

Unix command 'cd' doesnt seem to work in sqlplus

I have been using the "!cmd" where cmd is the UNIX command but it fails to work with 'cd'. Anyone know why or what I need to do to make it work?

Not really a SQL and PL/SQL question, but ...
The !cmd syntax in UNIX flavours forks a shell, executes the command you specify, then returns you to the shell that you are running your sqlplus session in. The command works, but it does not get carried back to your main shell. You can see the output of the command (e.g. !ls *.sql), but you cannot do anything that changes the environment of your current session.

I restored the factory settings....the phone was on recovery mode...it was verified by itunes and all that..but in the end it again said that iphone has some problem and can not function right now.
after that when ever i connect it with itunes, it gives the message, it can not activate the iphone further, try again later or contact customer service.
What to do now?????? Customer service people say..it is hardware problem

If it's a hardware problem, then the phone will need to be replaced.
There is no magic that can fix a hardware problem.

All apps are forever tied to the Apple ID that bought them. To stop your id from popping up, you need to delete the apps on his phone, and then repurchase them under his account.
