I get Error 20 when I try to download updates for installed Apple apps on my IMac. I have two users on the IMac, and I resolve the problem by clearing all cookies on both users Safari, opening and closing the App Store for each user, shutting down and restarting the IMac for each user, until finally the download works. There must be an easier way. I also have an Air, where I have no problems whatsoever. Both machines have Doorstop and MacKeeper with the same settings, so I have ruled those programs out as the cause. I believe iot is because I have two users - any ideas?
Please read this whole message and be sure you understand all of it before doing anything. Back up all data before making changes to your settings.
Write down the server addresses.
Click Cancel to close the Advanced sheet. Unlock the preference pane, if necessary, by clicking the lock icon in the lower left corner and entering your password. Open the DNS tab again and change the server addresses to the following:
8.8.8.8
8.8.4.4
That's Google DNS. Click OK, then Apply.
In Safari, select
Safari ▹ Preferences... ▹ Privacy ▹ Remove All Website Data
and confirm. If you’re using another browser, empty the cache. Test. Any difference?
Notes:
1. If you lose Internet access after making the above change to your network settings, delete the Google servers in the Network preference pane, then select the TCP/IP tab and click Renew DHCP Lease. That should restore the original DNS settings; otherwise restore them yourself.
2. I’m not advocating Google or anything else as a DNS provider; the server addresses are offerred merely for testing purposes. There may be privacy and technical issues involved in using that service, which you should investigate personally before you decide whether to keep the settings. Other public DNS services exist.

When you post for help, please tell us which MacOS X you have installed.
Install the appropriate combo update ...
For v10.6 Snow Leopard > Mac OS X 10.6.8 Update Combo v1.1
For v10.7 Lion > OS X Lion Update 10.7.3 (Client Combo)
Then restart your Mac. That will reinstall the App Store for you.
See if you can download an app. -
TS3297 changed itune account; get "unknown error" when I try to download updates
I had a shared itune account. The main account changed email address and password. I opened up a new itune account with the old email address and a differnent password. I can log into the account. I can not update applications
Launch the Console application in any of the following ways:
☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)
☞ In the Finder, select Go ▹ Utilities from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.
☞ Open LaunchPad. Click Utilities, then Console in the icon grid.
Make sure the title of the Console window is All Messages. If it isn't, select All Messages from the SYSTEM LOG QUERIES menu on the left. If you don't see that menu, select
View ▹ Show Log List
from the menu bar.
Click the Clear Display icon in the toolbar. Then try the action that you're having trouble with again. Select any messages that appear in the Console window. Copy them to the Clipboard by pressing the key combination command-C. Paste into a reply to this message (command-V).
When posting a log extract, be selective. In most cases, a few dozen lines are more than enough.
Please do not indiscriminately dump thousands of lines from the log into this discussion.

== updated to FireFox 3.6.3 / running MSOffice 2007OK, I checked for everything suggested in "AUS Update XML File Malformed 200" and none of the suggestions seemed applicable: I have no extension named Noscript, I can access secure sites, the url in "about:config" cannot be reset, I have no cookie named "aus2". --But the MERE ACT of trying these suggestions made my "XML File Malformed 200" message go away, at least temporarily -- I can now click Help/CheckForUpdates and the "Malformed" message does not appear, instead a message appears saying (words to the effect of) I have the most recent version, which is true by comparison of Help/About and the version number at the Firefox Updates site.

If you're trying to update through the Help menu > Updates, you should know that the Adobe auto updater in CS5 and earlier versions is an unmitigated, monumental piece of cr@p. It Is totally unreliably and fails in one or another of a great variety of ways.
Adobe began to get their act together as of CS6, with which I'm staying for exactly the same reason you are staying with CS5.
One has to update manually, by looking for, downloading and applying any and all applicable updates, including the Adobe Camera Raw plug-in which comes separately.
If the latter is what you've been doing, you need to let us know where you are trying to download the update from, what browser you are using to attempt to effect the download, and what platform you are in.
You also need to disable any and all virus protection, and make sure you are not behind any active software or hardware Fire Wall.

I get this error when I try to download I-tunes. "Errors occurred during installation before I-tunes could be configured. Your system has not been modified to complete installation. Run installer again. I have tried running the installer again several times and keep getting this error. Any suggestion as to how to fix this?
Finally the above problem was sovled. First click on control panel and search for all Apple software and uninstall all related to Apple software. Then download itunes again and run it to install latest itunes and after installation is finish. All Apple software shall run properly.

Try to go to Settings and then Store. Tap to your Apple ID and select View Apple ID. Now choose to check your payment information and when you're done tap Done. I had to rewrite my three digit code of the credit card and now it works.
Oh, I also activated Genius for Apps but I don't think it makes any difference. -
I keep getting and error when I try to start my iTunes. "Apple Application Support was not found. Apple Application Support is required to run iTunes. Please uninstall iTunes, Then install iTunes again. Error 2(Windows error 2)".... I have uninstalled and reinstalled several times and the error still occurs!!! 4. Run install. Note that it installs Application Support and a bunch of other software this time.
5. Run iTunes.

Running the Lion Os requires a MINIMUM of 2 GB of RAM, as you have. However, with that little RAM the computer will have trouble with many memory based tasks, such as copying and pasting. You really need to increase the amount of RAM your computer has in order to increase its speed and performance. Now, when a task requires more RAM than your system has available then the OS will use some harddrive space temporarily instead. This is called "Virtual Memory." Is it possible that at this time that your harddrive is very full relative to its stated capacity, so that even "virtual memory" is not really available? If that is the case, you really need to cleanup your harddrive by deleting a fair number of less used files.

I open the remote power shell to the exchange server 2013.
