HT201413 Iphone 5 Stucks at "Restoring iphone firmware "while restoring

I have Iphone 5 . Few Days Back it fell into the water I some how succeeded to recover it from damage But it started to have a problem in which it was always showing "searching" in the carrier signal area.I tried to restore it by downloading the newest firmware and when it started restoring It get stuck on the"Restoring iphone firmware"part which is the final step I beleive.Now I am not even able to get out of recovery mode . It always keep saying that "Connect to itunes".I tried to restore many times but every time I had to face failure...Now what should I do ????Please Help
Is there any hardware problem or something else??

IPhone stuck at apple logo, can't restore

My iPhone started to randomly restart, decided to restore since it was annoying, but before restoring, I had the incredible idea of turning the iPhone on and off to see if that fixed the problem, it didn't and now I'm stuck in the apple logo, I can't enter DFU since my lock button doesn't work and it seems that not only freezes but also wont connect with my PC's, not even with the wall charger
any thoughts?

I forgot to say that I did edit the hosts file and removed all lines containing apple.com and yet I still get the same 3194 error.

I have iphone 4 and 5. I havent use my iphone 4 for awhile and i decided to use it after i found it and update it to ios7. Then it got stuck in the logo and wont turn on. I kept trying and trying for many days and it keep giving me 3194 error. My phone keep rebooting. Then i finally found solution in windows support (fixit) and finally its restoring but in the middle of restoring it, itunes stop working. It gave me apple logo with line below it (like when ur loading something). i waited for awhile but nothing happen and itunes is like normal but wont go back to restore even after i took it off and plug it back. It just give me blank screen. I dont know what to do now. Itunes wont restore but it connect to itune in dfu mode. I downloaded redsnow to take it off from dfu mode but still useless. Im running out of idea. ive done the manual taking the dfu mode but it still give me blank screen but definately my phone still work since it connect to the computer. It wont sync or anything tho. Plz help

I had to restore my iphone 4s because the settings app wasn't loading. During the restore an error come up on my computer saying the restore couldn't be finished. Now my phone is stuck on a white spinning circle?? HELP

Try holding the home + sleep/wake button for 10 secs or until it reboots. It should then prompt you to plug it in via USB, and I would then attempt to restore it again.

my ipod goes to the recovry mode
and i had tryied to restore it
but it always stuck at " waiting for ipod " in the itunes

ok so just unplug it restart computer and do this
recovery mode
open itunes on computer
plug cable into computer not iOS device
turn device off
hold home button and plug cable into IOS device. do not release home button until an itunes graphic appears on IOS device.

Error -1 indicates a hardware failure. There is nothing you will be able to do. You will need to bring your phone into Apple for evaluation.

How to restore Iphone 4 content but for a different carrier?

I just recently unlocked my iphone 4 and backed it up before doing the factory reset. When I inserted the new sim card for a different carrier I wasn't able to restore my old content (music, photos, contacts, etc). Is there any way to restore all my old data without going back to my old carrier? Or a way for my phone to recognize my new service with my old content.

Mac OS X installer crashes while restoring system

After several restarts to try correcting an unrelated problem (vertical gray lines on screen), my hard drive failed. I'm guessing it was in a fragile state and the restarts put it over the edge. Anyway, no problem, I had a Time Machine backup from a half hour earlier. I followed the instructions to boot from a system CD and restore my system from the last backup.
However, about a half hour into the estimated 9 hour process (230 GB of data), the installer stopped and displayed a crash log. I repeated twice and it failed at the same spot each time. Here's the first few lines of the crash log; I can post the rest if that helps:

Next, I just installed a new OS from the CD, then tried using Migration Assistant to restore my Time Machine data, but Migration Assistant couldn't see my backup, either when connected directly to the machine via USB or wirelessly via my Airport.
Next, I tried connecting my backup to another computer, thinking I might be able to open the folder and restore it to my main computer using different backup software (Sync Pro X), but I couldn't open the backup .sparsebundle due to permissions errors (even when I changed its permissions to 777 from Terminal).
I finally gave up on Time Machine and restored my computer from an older Sync Pro X backup, then manually restored some important files from the newer Time Machine backup. But I wasted a whole evening on Time Machine. My question is: is there anything I can do to make Time Machine work in the future? Or should I just not even bother relying on that, and go straight to my Sync Pro X backup first? That would be a disappointment because those hourly backups sure are appealing, but hey, at least I didn't put all my reliance on that Time Machine backup.

Most likely, whatever was going wrong with your system corrupted some things, including the ones listed. Time Machine detected those changes and backed them up, so when you went to restore from your last backup, the installer choked on the corrupted files.
Sometimes you can repair the backups with Disk Utility.
If not, or if that doesn't help, you can usually choose an earlier backup and restore it successfully.
That would also explain why Migration Assistant didn't see the backups; it always uses the most recent backup -- you don't get a choice.
But I've learned over the years (mostly the hard way, of course ), never to trust my backups to a single app or piece of hardware: no app is perfect, and all hardware fails, sooner or later.
Like many here, I keep full Time Machine backups, plus a "bootable clone" on a separate external HD. I use CarbonCopyCloner, many use the similar SuperDuper. That gives me the best of both types of backups, plus of course a completely separate, independent backup.
