my i phone wont back up to icloud

The capacity of the iPhone and iCloud are totally unrelated
Not exactly accurate, Peter. iCloud will backup the Camera Roll separately from Photostream, so too many pictures in the Camera Roll on the iPhone can prevent iCloud from completing a backup. So, technically, the capacity of the iPhone and the iCloud are related.

Does anyone know how I can get all my pictures back on my I Phone whaich has been backed up by I Cloud? My I Phone 5 has been replaced because of a broken on off button. Only some of my pictures have come through. I'm not sure if it takes more time or not.
Any info will be greatly appreciated.
ThanksMany users have lost photos while preforming a restore from backup or upgrading the iOS. Recall, only photos in the camera roll are backed up to iCloud. There is a way to turn backups for camera roll on/off, perhaps these users had camera roll turned off.
See:
Settings>icloud>Storage & Backups>Manage Storage, tap the device's name and on the next screen, be sure Camera Roll is turned on.
IMPORTANT...
Photos should be regularly synced to a computer (like you store photos from a digital camera) using either USB via iTunes (on a mac use iPhoto or Aperture to move them to an album) or using photo stream. If using Photo stream, but sure to move the received photos to a permanent album. If you have been doing that, then you can sync those photos back to your device.
If you haven't been saving photos except relying on iCloud to store them in a backup, then that is risky, as many users have discovered. I'm afraid I have no advice in this case - there is no "cure". -
I just received a new iPhone4 under warranty. Everything was restored on the phone, but now when it tries to back up it says there isn't enough storage. If I delete my previous phone's back up will it delete all of my info in my current phone?
Deleting the backup only permanently deletes the backup from your iCloud account. It won't do anything to the data on your phone.

have a iphone 4. i have downloaded the latest version of itunes to update the ios. I am having problems with the back up and sync and also the update. the update error message is coming up saying it cannot connect to the iphone update server. I am useing a windows 7 32 bit laptop. I have also reset my phone to factory settings. Would taking it to one of the stores and they would do it for me??
any help will be great thank youAll I can tell you is that I am having the exact same problem with an iPod Touch and that I was running iTunes 9.2.1.5 at the time it happened. Upgraded to 10.0.0.68 hoping that it might help, but no joy.
I don't want to do a restore just now since the Touch seems to be working fine. Restore will have to wait until I have plenty of free time in case something goes wrong. -

I'm trying to update my iPhone software but it keeps telling me it cannot backup my phone to the computer. I've emptied my trash, deleted files, but it still won't let me update. My phone is backed up to the cloud, so I'm not too sure why it wants to back up to the phone. Isn't there some backup files that keep building up that I could delete, past backups? HELP!
You can delete previous backups by going to iTunes>Preferences>Devices, clicking on the name of the backup in the Backups list, then clicking Delete Backup.
Did you try creating a manual backup in iTunes by right-clicking on the name of your phone on the left side of iTunes and selecting Back Up (if using iTunes 11, first go to View>Show Sidebar)? -
My phone wont let me download anything even free stuff or update.it keep saying something wrong with my billing info so i fix it but still cant download.I signed out sign back in still nothing please help i'm getting angry
If it says your billing info is wrong that means that your credit card issuer is refusing to approve your account. You will have to solve the problem with your bank or credit card company.

My phone wont let me back up to icloud?
my phone wont let me back up to icloud, even after purchasing the additional storage i needed. does anyone know why or how i can fix this?
You need to be on wifi to do a backup. And you need to be plugged in to power for it to automatically backup each night.
How much space is it estimating your backup to be? -
My iPhone 4 is shut off and wont turn back on, unless i plug it in an outlet & when i do that it says "connect to Itunes" & then i do that and the phone wont turn on & it shows nothing is plugged in . HELP!
& it keeps trying to turn on but it wont . like the apple logo pops up for a minute , then turns off.Had exact same problem. Rang Apple support and various apple repairers. All of them said in effect, too bad, you'll have to lose everything since your last backup. It's a work phone with very important stuff on it and the latest backup was on a computer that had a virus. Convergence of crap :/
Happened to talk to a friend who said to try replacing the battery. Did that. Problem fixed. All data saved.
To all Apple support people: rather than say 'once it's in recovery mode you lose all data' try saying 'replace your battery and see if that works first'!!!! -
I did a full system restore to my phone along with the new 7.0 update. Now I went to restore my phone setting back through Itunes and it goes through all the steps but when it is completed it wont get past the "Connect to Itunes" screen
So what happens when you connect to iTunes?

I tried updating my phone to the iOS5 software. I was over the max capacity of the space in my phone so the uodate failed. After attempting this the apps in my phone wouldn't open. As soon as I click on them the screen would go blank and either stay black or go back to the home screen. Turning my phone off didn't work so the only choice I was able to find was to give my phone a hard reset. This action failed so next I backed up my files and restored my phone. NOW I'm stuck because the phone will not show in windows (xp) OR in iTunes.
My phone is now set in restore mode as to if I want to set it up as a new phone or back up from icloud or itunes, neither of the last two work. If I set up my phone as new, will I be able to reback up my phone to the previous data I had before I restored it? I really don't want to lose any pics or contacts I had.
I've been working on this for 5 hours!! I've been to every site and tried any and every tip I could from apple to fix the problem and have had NO successIf the device is not being detected in iTunes, has a different USB port or sync cable been tried? What about a reboot of the comptuer?
As for pictures/videos taken with the device, they are designed to be copied to a computer on a regular basis. Did you choose to not do this prior to attempting the update? They may be lost at this point (although they should be in the backup, but no guarantees). -
I got my cracked screen fixed , and ever since my phone has been acting up. Now Im trying to restore it and it wont restore. Also my phone wont work without being on the charger. It just wont disconnect from ITunes Can I get help ASAP
