Because the Touch is primarily a music player, that is what I purchased and I'm quite satisfied with it as it is.

This maybe because the hardware is simply incompatible, they cannot cover every eventuality, had they done so the Touch would have been more expensive and I would not have bought one.
Technology moves on, fact. I you don't feel Apple are playing fair then just avoid their products, that'll learn 'em.

How to install the iOS4.3 update on my 2nd generation ipod touch

Hi, I just bought a 2nd generation ipod touch and am trying to install the Facebook app. It wont let me becuase "This app requires iOS4.3." Can someone help me out? Thanks!

Everytime i try to sync my ipod touch it gets all the way there then says the error code 13019. i never had this problem with the last itunes download. i just bought a new laptop and moved everything from my old computer to this one and now itunes screws up for me. :/ someone please help.

What is the best iTunes alternative for a 4th Generation iPod Touch?

iTunes is the worst music application I have ever used and would love to be able to use a different application to sync music with. I have a really nice computer, but it is taking 10 times longer to sync music than Windows Media Player. I'm beginning to understand all the hate people have for Apple, besides how over-priced all their products are.

Can not seem to get the update iOs 3 for my 1st generation ipod touch

I can not seem to get my pc to download the iOs 3.1 update for my ipod touch 1st generation. I keep getting the error 8288 message and it says that their is not a server connected. When it is all up and running. Can some one help me achieve updating my kids Ipod touch 1st generation so that they can have game apps on them?

Try uninstalling iTunes 10.5 and installing iTunes 10.4. It has worked for others.

Yes you can use and charge the iPod Touch at the same time.
You can not use and Sync iPod Touch at same time though as Syncing will not allow you to use the touch till it is finished or you cancel the sync.
If you do use it while charging just keep in mind as you use it you basically got a Charging/Discharging action occurring during this time. So it is best to let it charge as much as possible. Disconnect and use.
But if you have immediate need to access something you are ok. If you got a Dock station that has speakers that work with touch. Some of these Dock stations will charge touch and allow you to listen to music at the same time.

Why does Adobe refuse to provide the latest version of Camera Raw (like my Canon 6d) that could be supported in Photoshop CS5 or earlier? Its like Adobe saying you want a Camera Raw for you Camera then buy CS6 which is insulting to your customers.

Adobe's policy to to provide free updates (not upgrades) for currently shipping software, which means the current Photoshop CS6 and Camera Raw 7.x. Your alternative is simply use the free DNG Converter if you want to use new cameras that weren't in existence when your old software was developed. The problem of new camera support for old software is really a problem caused primarily by the camera companies spawning off new cameras whose file formats are undocumented and proprietary. If the camera makers adopted a standard file format that could be opened in standard applications (kinda like DNG) then tis problem would be mitigated. You really should place the lion's share of the problem at the feet of the camera companies...
