HT201415 Mutiple SIM cards are not working in my purchased un-locked iphone and ipad.??
I travel a lot around the world and previously was able to insert a sim card from another network into my iphone and ipad and it worked perfectly.
Recently I updated my iphone and ipad to iSO 6.0. and after that when I put my German SIM card in to both iphone and ipad it would not work any longer?? Got a message No service and after Invalid SIM
I double check with my Carrier and was told all my SIM cards are fine and working correctly from their end.
I then put the sim cards into another HTC phone and it worked so why all of a sudden my iphone which I paid alot of money for purchasing a UNLOCKED phone as opposed to being strapped down with a 2 years contract now my iphone doesnt work with using different sim cards??
Please HELP?
This definitely happened with the new 10.7.0.21! We are having the same problem, the apps are all in iTunes but cannot sync anymore! Apple needs a bug fix ASAP.

You are not talking to Apple here, so we cannot check, but I'll give it a whirl.
You said you bought a "without contract" phone. This implies that it is locked to a carrier, but does not require a two-year commitment. However, you also say you put a T-Mobile SIM in it and it works. Obviously the phone has not been hacked since you bought it directly from Apple, so I can't think of another explanation as to why another carrier's SIM would work on a "No contract" phone. -

Yes, the message is self-explanatory. You need a carrier who supports Apple's activation policy for an iPhone.

All new keyboards need Snow Leopard 10.6.8 and above for full functionality.
Rather short-sighted of Apple perhaps, but that seems to be a trend these days.
I'm afraid the only fix is to upgrade to SL. Personaly, I'd take it back and get a refund and seek an older keyboard or a third-party one elsewhere. -
My iCloud is set up and seems to work. However, a newly added contact does not sync from the Macbook to the iphone and iPad. What am I doing wrong? Thanks, txstan
Apparantly it is, On My Mac contacts don't appear in iCloud, anywhere.
Put all your contacts on all of your devices in iCloud (assuming that's where you want them to be)
Go to www.icloud.com, login and see what you actually have in the account. -
I gave my ipad 2 to my brother last month. After that he erased all content and settings, sign in with his apple id. The next day until now, I found out that I can not udpate my apps both on my iPhone and iPad Air. I had create new apple id, change my password, delete the icloud acc. But still I can not update my apps. I have many of red notifications on iPhone and iPad Air. What should I do? Thank you in advance.
1. It is never a good idea to include personal info like your email address or Apple ID in a post on an open forum.
2. The email you received DOES NOT say your Apple ID cannot be used to unlock this iPad. The email informs you that your Apple ID was used to unlock an iPad. Fortunately the iPad is yours. The message confirms that. If your Apple ID was used to unlock an iPad that was not yours your would then know to change your password. Since the iPad is yours you do not need to change your password.

ONS 15454 both tcc2p cards are not working.

I have a situation when due to unknown reason both tcc2p cards in one node are not working.
There are no active LEDs, ethernet, rs-232 are not function aswell. At the same time the LCD monitor on the node also dead.
The services were not affected, we just lost control.
We have one tcc2p card in a stock, backup configuration exists, fortunatelly.
My questions are:
1. Can node operate with one tcc2p card?
2. If yes, what is the right procedure to replace two dead tcc2p to new one?

Was anything taking place before this happen? Maintenance event or upgrade? When you say the LCD monitor is dead do you mean it does not light up at all or that it just shows black boxes across it? You can run a node with one TCC card but it is hard to tell which one is the culprit based on the information. Can you still ping the node at all? If you can you can try logging into it via TL1 and retrieving the alarms on the node to see exactly what is going on. Based on the information you have given best bet would be to remove one of the TCC cards during a maintenance window to see if the other restores or not. If not then plug back in the one that was taken out and to the same for the other card. This shouldn't drop traffic but I would do in during a maintenance window just in case since we don't know the exact cause of the issue. Hope this gets you started.

The volume buttons work after I tried this method : "hold iPad in landscape mode. Push the home button while rotating it to Portrait mode, release it."I have the same issue, nothing I did fixed the problem, I would suggest if you can visit apple store and give us your feedback with them.
for me I can't go to apple store because I don't have any store near me, I will have to wait for 2 months to travel! -
I have been using an iPhone and iPad to access my work emails via our MS Exchange server for a number of years now with no problems at all. I recently replaced my home PC with an iMac (first Mac I have owned) but cannot get it to communicate with the exchange server. I've checked and re-checked the information on the iMac and my iPad - I even deleted the mail account on the iPad and input the details concurrently with setting up on the iMac - but the Mac will not access the exchange server.
I receive the message "The Exchange server "---------------" rejected the password for user "------" Enter you password again or cancel." I am using the correct password. iPad and iPhone are logging on using that password fine. iMac just ends up repeating this message.
Our IT support at work assure me that there is no reason from their end for it not to work, and reasonably point to it working using the iPhone etc.
I'd be extremely grateful if anyone can provide a solution to this basic, but extremely frustrating, little problem.iPhone and iPad use a different way of accessing the server.
I don't know the exact details, but we are using Zarafa instead of Exchange and have the same problem:
iPhone and the likes can connect to Zarafas z-push interface, which is some identical interface to the native Exchange interface, while the desktop e-mail application tries to interface with the web front end (via http) of the server.
These are completely different setups and it depends on the actual installation of the server to get this going.
So, you will most likely need different access parameters for the desktop - and the web mail feature has to be enabled on the Exchange server.
In my opinion using the web mail interface is just silly. On the other hand, the native protocol has less features comparedto the web front end, so you are somehow stuck with sins of the past.

Although my work diary is successfully synching with my iPhone and iPad, it does not show up on my iCloud nor my iMac at home. This is a relatively new problem for me. Any ideas?
