in my openion apple should unmask the id for those users whos phones are not in stolen mode,only ther phone r locked when they update or restore.millions of people around the globe facing similar problem including me while they didnt know any info about previous user.perhaps its sound great that a tuff and unbreakable lock invented by apple for theft reason but this floud takes away those people also who are innocent and uneducated too.well users of iphone are getting droper n droper day by day by this lock feature and they r making there way to andriod.

Like many others, I`m a business man and in many ocasions I need to access xls files (Excel) but being able to change using macros like in simulators. I think apple should provide this in the iphone or maybe have some sort of app which we can use?

I am a business man, and in many times a need a very important tool which I think an iphone should have which is some sort of app which will allow you to make changes to any xls file(Excel file).
I find apps that allow me to see and open these files but do not allow changing numbers on files with Macros.
A example is when you have a xls file using macros like in a simulator.
You have to change the values according to different client and it just doesn`t allow you.
I think iphone is a very decent phone but I just think that apple should povide this option to all users which would definately be alot happier.
I work at a finance company and need to use finance simulators with Macros.
Can you have an app that allows me to do this?

Since Excel is a microsoft product, they would have to make the app.

For what purpose? I don't miss having one. The Camera Connection Kit is available for importing photos from SD cards. I like the clean look of not having loads of openings in the case.

Apple should add the "permanently delete unwanted apps" option ?

I think that Apple should add the permanently delete unwanted apps option to our account. We pay for them and we have a right to get rid of them, and Apple has to respect its client right. If Apple want to keep it as a record, keep it itself. Sometime, we just don't want to have any relationship with something and want it out of our life.
If Apple does not respect us, I will stop using apple products for good.
If you guy agree with me, vote for it and ask Apple to respect us.

The point you make is valid ... providing you are
1. Sure you won't want to download it again ... or
2. In the event it was permanently deleted you wouldn't mind paying for it again if you did.
It's no good expecting Apple to keep it as a record for themselves ... having bought it, you are the only person who has an interest (or not) in its continued availability.

Adding prompts dynamically and then send the results to users via email

Hi,
We have to schedule the reports for auto delivery to users at a specific time period. Please, tell me the mechanism to schedule them and how to assign prompt values to them. Currently, the reports are run by users by selecting prompts from the dashboard. If we schedule them, we will have to add some of these prompts dynamically and then send the results to users via email.

Hi,
I haven't tested it myself...but may be the following steps can help you.
Fill some session variables depending on the the name of the user who logs in (this can be done easily be creating different session variables and put some executing order in it)
Then you use these session variables as default values for your prompts. So the report will be executed making use of this default values.
And by scheduling your ibot..you can send it by mail.
I don't know if it's this what you're looking for...probably you have to base your prompt values depending on the users that are selected in your ibot?

You can't watch HBO using the Safari browser on the iPad at all. HBO has an app in the App Store called HBO GO. You must subscribe to HBO in order to use it

Hi,
You cannot schedule and email a Discoverer report using standard Discoverer scheduling. You have to use a third party scheduler and Discoverer Desktop running on a windows PC.
This presentation has some more details on how to do this.

we need to be able to delete all messages at once, say someone has 1500 emails there not going to want to go 1 by 1, there should be a delete all button an except button and then another except to make sure if they really want to delete it they can.

Try starting your computer holding down the option key as soon as you hear the startup sound, and continue holding it. Hopefully, you will see the icon for your startup disk come up on your screen within a minute. Click on that icon and press return. If your machine starts up normally from there, go to System Preferences > Startup Disk and reselect your startup volume

What users think apple should do or make

There needs to be a discussion forum based on what apple user would like to see apple create, call it something like "What apple users want"
Necessity is the mother of invention and everybody has a crazy idea of what they want. ie- Here is my crazy idea:
Forget about keyboard and mouse, go with iBoard (Picture a giant iphone for your keyboard)
Just like the iPhone it is completely software driven it can be any keyboard layout you want with tactile Multi-Touch trackpad whaerever or to whatever side of the iBoard you want. Applications could also redraw the iBoard and totally customize their GUI in tactile world. I guess this is just another invention chalked up to what? star trek or Apple? maybe if they had a crazy idea discussion forum they could get a few good hints from time to time.
