I am not able to unlock my iPhone, my ID and password are correct and still doesn't work, I am even using the apple ID from the previous owner and I still get the "ID incorrect and unable to unlock this iPhone" message...please help

Carrier unable to unlock my phone
Hey guys,
I've been having a real nightmare issue with Fido to unlock my iphone 5.
Got it back in 2012, then Apple swapped the device because it was faulty and now it's been over 2 weeks that I called to have my phone unlocked.
First they wanted a proof that Apple replace my device (fine).
Then, a girl sends me an email telling me that she needs me to take my sim out and sync to iCloud and put the sim back in afterwards and send her an email once that was done.
Then she sends me another email asking me if it's a A1428 or A1429. I replied with A1428.
Now it's been 4 days since, and nothing still.
She says she's getting error messages from her system when trying to unlock my phone.
What are my options?
I'm leaving to go on a 4 weeks trip in just a few days and def need my phone to work. I already paid for my chip from the country I'll be visiting along with the plan for the duration.

I'm going to try to restore the phone back to factory, then get everything back on it and hope that once it's done, Fido can try to unlock and will then work out.
Make sure you do a backup before, so after you restore as new, you can dump all your info back on the iPhone without hassles.
It's so frustrating and time consuming all this back and forth with them.
They (fido) locked my phone, I don't see why they're not able to unlock it. It's nonsense to me.
Yep. Some carriers are so notoriously terrible at unlocking, that it seems that they purposely make the process so complicated and fustrating in order to discourage customers from asking for the unlock in the first place.

AFTER TYPING INCORRECT PASSCODE MULTIPLE TIMES MY PHONE GOT DISABLED. IT SAYS CONNECT TO ITUNES BUT ON CONNECTING IT SAYS USB DEVICE NOT FOUND.

Unable to unlock iphone even if itunes password is correct
Hello, I recently changed my itunes password but after my phone went to a lockscreen i am unable to unlock it using my new itunes password. I am sure the itunes password is OK because i am able to log in to icloud and even to the itunes applicaton on my PC but i am still unable to unlock my phone using the same, new password.
Please help!The unlock code for your locked screen is not the same as your iTunes password. It is usually a 4-digit code that is a different sequence of numbers.

Jailbroken phones can not be discussed here.
It's highly likely that it is now bricked. The jailbreak most likely did permanent damage. There are lots of reports of previously jailbroken/hacked phones that become unusable when attempting to apply a legitimate unlock. -
recently got went through the process of unlocking my phone through itunes, i am now unable to back my phone up to my computer, its asking me for a passcode that i used to unlock it, but i dont have a clue what it is. any ideas?

I'm not sure what way to 'unlock' the device you are looking for.
If you want to unlock the device from your operator so that you can use the phone with a SIM card from another operator, you will have to contact your operator and ask for an unlock code.
If the phone itself asks for a security code when you're trying to change your security settings, this code is 12345 by default. If 12345 code isn't accepted it will have been changed. Please visit a Care centre in that case where the security code can be reset for you.
Please make a back up with Nokia Suite before you visit a Care centre to make sure you won't loose any data. You can create a back up via Tools > Back up.

Unable to unlock iPhone 5 while phone is locked in VoiceOver mode.
Used the accessibility VoiceOver feature for playback while driving. Was unable to unlock phone. Pressing the triple-click feature did not work. The timeout feature disabled the phone from 1 to 60 minutes with each unsuccessful pass code attempt. Dreading having to reset my phone I connected to iTunes. I was able to turn off the VoiceOver feature using the configure universal access feature and unlock the phone.
I own my iPhone 5 since it first came out in fall of 2012. I have never had an issues with the phone dropping WiFi until last month when two weeks into my biling cycle I have received notification from my carrier that I've burned through 75% of my 2G data plan. At first I thought that maybe I have left some apps running and didn't pay attention to what was occuring. So during the next billing cycle which started 10 days ago, I reset the cellurar data usage legend on the phone and kept a close eye on data usage. My phone is on wifi 99% fo the time. When I am not of wifi I only refresh my email account and check the weather. Prior to the last month, I usually use about half a Gig a month. As I've tracked my data usage with my carrier this current cycle, I found there are numerous cellular data usages during the time that I was connected to wifi. I find myself turning off my cellular data which is ridiculous. I know it's not my router, because when I used my friend's wifi, the phone still registered cellular data usage. It was all small amounts during each time, but 10 days into my billing cycle and my phone burned to 1G of data!! I still have 3 weeks of cycle to go. I've also completely rebooted my phone by erasing and reinstalling the iOS. Which btw, did not help. I cannot believe that others have reported this issue and Apple hasn't addressed it yet. The phone seems to be dropping wifi when in sleep mode. This is not normal as I've owned the phone for over a year and haven't had any troubles until last month. Does anyone have any updates on how to deal with this issue without replacing the phone?

Unable to unlock phone -- How to backup photos when touch is not working
Hello Experts,
My HTC 8X running windows phone 8.1 update (dev Preview) had some password unlock attempts in my pocket and now its currently on the screen where its asking me to enter A1B2C3 to try to enter the password again.
My problem is that the left side of the touch screen is not responding so i am unable to type 'A1'
Is there ANY way I can unlock my phone and take a backup of the pictures on it.
I don't want to reset my phone as I have very important pics on it and I didn't turn on the auto upload feature of pictures to OneDrive.
Please help as I really cannot reset my phone and delete the pictures.
Please note that the phone is getting detected on the computer but I am unable to see the storage to do a backup.

If you have an iTunes backup that includes the photos you may be able to extract them from the backup using a 3rd party utility such as http://www.wideanglesoftware.com/ibackupextractor/

Iphone4s - because I use pass lock I cannot decline a call such as a blocked number. If I can't see who is calling then I don't want to answer it. But due to having my phone on lock - i can see its a blocked number but there is no option to decline. If i unlock my phone it automatically answers the call. Does anyone else have this problem or is there a solution I don't knnow about?
In the locked screen you can press the sleep/wake button once to silence to the call and twice to send it to voicemail.
