HT201441 What if there's no way to contact that previous owner?
My iPad was given to me by my uncle who recently went to prison. However, my iPad is still linked into his account and theres absolutely no way that I can contact him. Is there any other way to sign out of the account? The iPad has already been restored and I can't use it until I put in the account
Return it for a refund, as without that information it is useless to you.

If this phone you bought was already running iOS 7 and had the new activation lock enabled, you can't do anything.
That's the whole point of the feature. If it could be bypassed it would be a pointless feature.
If you can't get the previous owner to unlock it, you've wasted your money. -
I bought this iphone. It was locked and the owner could not remember their password so i restored it via my computer. Now I can not access it at all because they still have it linked with thier apple id. What can I do if I can not contact them? The number I had for them isnt active. What can I do?
Unfortunately, you have to get in touch with the seller, this would be the only way to activate your phone.

They know if it has been stolen, the police know if it has been stolen. Why cant they help??Unfortunately, you cannot do very much with your phone unless you get assistance from the previous owner, they should either provide you with the password to unlock it or remove their account from the phone entirely remotely through iCloud.com > Find My Phone.

Most likely synced automatically when you plugged it into your laptop.

How do you send an email to an unknown previous owner with only a partial email visible on an iCloud locked device? Is there a way to get the entire email address so the old owner can be contacted? There has to be a way to contact the previous owner.

I'm sorry to learn that an important conversation was deleted in error CDRINGL! As indicated by Snn5 (thanks!), it is not possible to retrieve deleted conversations.

If there is no way to fix that , how I can erase that and do it again.What is it you want to fix? That says you have used 2.7GB of the 55GB on your account and have 52.3 left ("available"). If you are wondering how you used 2.7GB, them davidmenzel's recommendation is spot on.

There has been no signal in Springdale, UT for hours today. there is no way to contact Verizon (Calling or Web Chat). Service has been deteriorating for the past two years in the area. Worse fact is no one at the company seems to care. Right now the immediate issue is no service. I cannot do business this way.
You used the data. Verizon can not see what it was sued for. However your phone can see whats apps used the data. go to settings-data usage- there will be a place that says data usage cycle. line the dates up with your cycle. then there will be a bar graph below that extend bother white bars one all the way to the left and one all the way to the right. after those are extended below that will be a list of apps, there should be one that used over 2 gb and that will show you what app used that data in her purse

I have the iPhone 4S. Since I updated to the iOS 6 my phone keeps freezing and the apps crash all the time. Sometimes it freezes up to a minute. And there's no way of fixing that. Is apple going to fix this? I'm not the only one having this problem.
You cannot update iPhone 4 to IOS 8.1.2, the highest you can update is IOS 7.1.2.

The previous owner doesn't need to give you their credentials. They can release the device via Find My iPhone on iCloud.com as per the instructions in the link I posted in my initial response: Find My iPhone Activation Lock: Removing a device from a previous owner
If the previous owner is not present
Make sure the device is powered on and connected to a Wi-Fi or cellular network. Then contact the previous owner and ask them to follow these steps to remove the device from their account:
Sign in to their iCloud account at www.icloud.com/find.
Click All Devices to open a list of devices linked to their account, then select the device to be removed.
Click the Erase button to erase all content and settings from the device. When prompted, don't enter a phone number or message. Click Next until the device is erased.
When the erase is complete, click "Remove from Account" to remove the device from the account.
After the device is erased and removed from the account, you can proceed with the device setup process.
If the person you bought it from refuses to do this, I would assume the device is stolen and I would demand a refund and/or contact the authorities. -
