HT2376 Trying to install scrapbook software but wont install due to quicktime
I recently tried to install Software Scrapbook Boutique on my MAC Pro OS X Version 10.7.4 and all the files wont install without Quicktime. I have Quicktime Version 10.1, and it won't work. I am administrater, I recently bought my laptop from a friend whose friend needed money to get out of town, so he's gone.
This is my first Mac so it anyone can help I would greatly appreciate it. I just want to know what I'm doing wrong and how to fix this. Thank you.the specification for Scrapbook is QuickTime version 7.5.0 or higher and you candown load it here:

Any suggestions on what to try next as i have tried turning off firewalls etc. I have wiped the computer and reloaded everything again but still i cannot get itunes to load

I'd report the problem to the iTunes Store.
Log in to the Store. Click on "Account" in your Quick Links. When you're in your Account information screen, go down to Purchase History and click "See all".
Find the item that is not downloading properly. If you can't see "Report a Problem" next to the item, click the "Report a problem" button. Now click the "Report a Problem" link next to the item. -

Place the iOS device in Recovery Mode and then connect to your computer and restore via iTunes. The iPod will be erased.

If you have forgotten your Restrictions code, then follow the instructions
below but DO NOT restore any previous backup. If you do then you will
simply be restoring the old Restrictions code you have forgotten. This
same warning applies if you need to restore a clean system.

If you need to restore your device or ff you cannot remember the passcode, then you will need to restore your device using the computer with which you last synced it. 4. Select the Summary tab.

let the device charge for at least ten minutes to ensure that the battery has some
charge, and then start with step 2 again.
4. Continue holding the Home button until you see the "Connect to iTunes" screen.

When I go to iTunes and then check for updates. I can not do this action due to the fact iTunes will not connect to the internet although the internet is working just fine, what do I do to fix this issue? Apparently I am currently using iTunes 7.0.
If you're really using iTunes 7.0 you are very far behind the current version - maybe it is trying to connect to a decomissioned server. In fact I am kind of surprised it will run on a Macbook Air. Are you sure you are running iTunes 7?
