    Before you sell or give away your iOS device, make sure that you have removed all your personal information. Follow these steps to protect your data and get your device to its factory default state for the new owner:
    Back up your device.
    Turn off iCloud: Tap Settings > iCloud > Delete Account. This will remove the iCloud account and data from this device only.
    Turn off iMessage: Tap Settings > Messages > iMessage and turn the slider to Off.
    Turn off FaceTime: Tap Settings > FaceTime and turn the slider to Off.
    Tap Settings > General > Reset > Erase All Content and Settings to restore the iOS device to new.
    Contact your carrier for guidance on transferring service to the new owner.
    When the device is turned on for the first time by the new owner, Setup Assistant will guide them through the setup process.
    Important: Do not manually delete contacts, calendars, reminders, documents, photo streams, or any other iCloud data while signed in to your iCloud account, or the content will also be deleted from the iCloud servers and all of your iCloud devices.

     Hello, Model: wdbuzg0010bbk-04 Suddenly my External Hard Drive is not detected and failed (Not even processing) with the tests of Western Digital Data LifeGuard Diagnostics. I believe I tried everything. When I connect it, there is no strange sound, the sound is okay, the temperature is okay as WD Quick view mentions. The light is also on. When I connect it, the sound of USB detected in my laptop comes but nothing appears. WD SmartWare detects it but as no writable partition. And I also can not fix it using the Disk Management tool in Windows. Is there any fix for my matter?

    Seems like the partition on the drive got corrupted, i recommend reformatting the drive and then try to use for backup, however if you have information on this unit that you do not have somewhere else try too run a data recovery software, you can also check this link with some data recovery partner, in some cases they will have free diagnostics of your drive:

    About deauthorizing specific computers - https://discussions.apple.com/thread/3809988 - Only, if you have physical access to the computer, otherwise you have to deauthorize all computers. De-authorize all computers button does not appear until you actually have 5 authorized and you can only do this once a year.

Each computer must also be authorized using the same Apple ID.     (2) Doubleclick the msicuu2.exe file and follow the prompts to install the Windows Installer CleanUp utility.     (3) In your Start menu click All Programs and then click Windows Install Clean Up. The Windows Installer CleanUp utility window appears, listing software that is currently installed on your computer.
    (4) In the list of programs that appears in CleanUp, select any Bonjour entries and click "Remove", as per the following screenshot:

    For "Could not open key/write value" errors when reinstalling try b noir's user tip:
    "Could not open key: UNKNOWN\Components\[LongStringOfLettersAndNumbers]\
    [LongStringOfLettersAndNumbers]" error messages when installing iTunes for Windows.
    The technique can be applied to the branch of the registry mentioned in the error message.
    For general advice see Troubleshooting issues with iTunes for Windows updates.
    The steps in the second box are a guide to removing everything related to iTunes and then rebuilding it which is often a good starting point unless the symptoms indicate a more specific approach. Review the other boxes and the list of support documents further down the page in case one of them applies.
    Your library should be unaffected by these steps but there is backup and recovery advice elsewhere in the user tip.

    Repair your Apple software Update.
    Go to START/ALL PROGRAMS/Apple Software Update. If it offers you a newer version of Apple Software Update, do it but Deselect any other software offered at the same time. Once done, try another iTunes install
    If you don't find ASU in All programs, go to control panel/
    XP- add n remove Programs/highlight ASU, CHANGE then REPAIR.
    Vista or Win7 - Programs n features/highlight ASU and click REPAIR

    Apparently it's an itunes issue. I just tried to update and got the same issue. Called att to activate my iphone 4s and they say they can do the swap but apple is telling them itunes is down atm.  So will have to wait

    I fixed this problem by installing and running the SUPERAntiSpyware Free edition. I ran the quick scan which took under an hour (left my desk while it ran). After deleting all the tracking cookies, I was able to load the webpage that I was trying to reach.
