HT201455 I didn't receive your Apple ID verification or reset email

I have I redeemed an itunes card in my apple ID and when I tried to purchase Apps
it keep asking me to answer two security question but I don't remember my answers
so I logged in "appleid.apple.comand" clicked on "Password and Security" and then "Send reset security info email"
and I made sure that its the correct email account and my account is receiving email
and I tried sending it more than once but nothing there..
please help me

The reset email will be sent to the rescue email address that you put on the account - you cannot view and/or change your rescue address without answering two of your security question.
If you aren't receiving the email to that email account (and you've checked the spam folder as well as the inbox on the account) then you will have to contact Support in your country to get the questions reset.
Contacting Apple about account security : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5699
If your country isn't on that page then try this form and explain and see what they reply with : https://ssl.apple.com/emea/support/itunes/contact.html
When they've been reset you can then view and/or update your rescue email address for potential future use : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5620

When purchased together, AppleCare is automatically activated and applied to your device, so no proof or registration is usually required. Apple usually sends documentation of coverage after a few days, though. If you didn't receive the documentation, it may have been lost in the mail. You can confirm coverage here:
    https://selfsolve.apple.com/agreementWarrantyDynamic.do
If that doesn't show the correct coverage (the expiration should be two years from your date of purchase) and it's been at least a couple of weeks since you purchased, call Apple support, ask to speak with someone in AppleCare Plan Administration, and explain the mistake to them.
    Regards.

If you have a rescue email address on that account then you've checked the inbox and spam folder on that email account as well (and you can't get the password reset by answering your security questions on http://iforgot.apple.com) ? If you still can't find then try contacting Support in your country, they should be able to reset the password for you.

Receiving Your Apple TV is not authorized to play this content when trying to Air PLay from IPAD 2 to the apple TV.  This only applied to renting a movie.

I get the same error on some video content (specifically from the iTunes Library on my Mac). Netflix is fine. Movie previews are fine. I didn't rent/buy anything since this issue came up. I reset the AppleTV (20 minutes of re-entering everything). I am going to try another HDMI cable but the error does not say HDCP as shown in other google searches regarding this issue (   http://www.tuaw.com/2010/10/05/hdcp-may-spoil-your-apple-tv-fun/   ).
Was able to play movies rented from the Mac a few weeks ago
    Have not tried to re-authorize
AppleTV does not show under devices in iTunes - but I don't ever remember seeing it before
AirPlay'd movie from iPad1 - sound came thru no video (luckily I had a iPad to HDMI cable that was in my work case that worked otherwise movie night with the family would have been tragic)
I'm interested to learn how to fix this without having to waste 30 minutes fooling with three devices, four different wire configs, and a few swear words all while people sit on the couch and laugh at my earlier pronouncements of Apple being the best.

  • HT204407 Your Apple ID needs a Verified Email

Though I have received invitations, and accepted them  successfully, I'm suddenly getting a dialog box that says "Your Apple ID Needs a Verified Email Address". Well, I checked my account and all are verified. It's only Find My Friends that is throwing this error so far. Anyway, I can't get rid of this dialog.

I had the same problem.  I managed to fix it by selecting the "Me" tab, then the "Account" button in the toolbar and then in the "Notifications" group I selected an email address for the "Send As" item.  Not sure how this got reset, but I was able to accept and request an invitation afterwards.

  • Working on Lion, trying to share photos via email, error message: "The email server didn't recognize your username/password combination".  Regular email works fine, don't know how to fix this.

Having trouble with sharing photos via email on my desktop Imac.  Error Message when I try to send: "The email server didn't recognize your username/password combination.  Normal email inbox/outbox works fine, error message only comes up when using "Sharing photos".
Not sure how to fix this, please help.

Are you trying to email directly from iPhoto? If so, check iPhoto>Preferences>Accounts tab and make sure your details are entered correctly there.

  • What does "Your Apple ID Needs a Verified Email" mean?

For the first time *ever* when I tried to accept a Find My Friends invitation, I got a dialog box that said: "Your Apple ID Needs a Verified Email Address. To continue using Find My Friends add and verify and email address http://appleid.apple.com"
Well, I have 4 verified emails! This dialog just won't go away.
    Thoughts?

Oops, other treads indicate this is a bug of some kind related to my @mac account. I thought Apple products were easy to use.

I had the same problem.  I managed to fix it by selecting the "Me" tab, then the "Account" button in the toolbar and then in the "Notifications" group I selected an email address for the "Send As" item.  Not sure how this got reset, but I was able to accept and request an invitation afterwards.

  • Received an Apple ID  verification mail

I have received an mail from apple regarding Apple ID verification, this is the link http://ubuntu.drl.pl/update.php and http://ngooshy.com/Users/Confirm_your_account_Account/44fd27076e3d81dc8fd8bbdd6f cc7030/detail.php?action=detail_login=true
    Revived mail from: [email protected]
    Subject as:
✉ Support : Failed to verify your iTunes account !
    Please check and confirm thanks

It is of course a fake. Apple would not ever use some domain such as "ngooshy.com" or "drl.pl" for anything to do with an Apple account. Assuming you haven't fallen for this scam, just delete the email. Additional information on identifying phishing emails can be found here:

  • How can you change your Apple ID to a new email address?

My old email was deleted and I used this as my Apple ID. I now have a new one and can't change my Apple ID on my phone and iPad, (Under 'icloud' in settings). However I have been able to change it in iTunes & App Store.
I also tried deleting the account and re doing it in my new one but it asks for the password due to find iPhone being on, and it won't do it. (I remember my old password)
    Please help!
It's very frustrating and keeps wanting me to sign in.
    Thanks

    1) Did you change that old email address to your current email address to be your current Apple ID?  If so, try to enter your current password for your current Apple ID/iCloud account.  If it doesn't work, try #2.
    2) If you don't have access to your old email account.  Same process, go to https://appleid.apple.com and sign in your current iCloud/Apple ID then edit it to your old email address then Save the changes.  DON'T sign out yet.  Go back to your iOS device then delete your iCloud account.  Once deleted, go back to the Apple ID website and rename it back to your current email address.  You have to verify it this time and you will be able to since you have access to that email address.
    3) If your answer to #1 is NO, contact Apple Support (Account Security Team) to help you reset its password but you need to have another email address available which is not yet an Apple ID to send the password reset email.
    Hope this helps!  Cheers!

  • Is there anyway to change the security questions for your apple Id without using the email address as I've forgotten that as well -.-

This is kinda annoying :L I've recently bought a fifth gen iPod to replace my broken fourth and soon as I've gone to buy something it's asked me to provide security questions and since its been over 2 years I've forgotten both my questions/answers but also the email address used for back up is there someone I can contact or even a way round it ?

    First try:
Can I change the answers to the security questions for my Apple ID?
Yes. You can change the answers to the security questions provided when you originally signed up for your Apple ID. Go to My Apple ID and click Manage your Apple ID. Sign in with your Apple ID name and password, go to the section Password and Security and click Reset your security information.
    next
Rescue email address and how to reset Apple ID security questions
    Last contact iTunes by:
    https://expresslane.apple.com/Issues.action
Click on "Account Management" and then on "Forgotten Security Questions". That will take you to a page where you can talk to iTunes Support right away, or you can schedule a call to talk to them. They should be able to get you squared away so that you can log on to the old Apple ID.

  • HT5787 Apple is sending my reset-email to the wrong address!!!

I would like to reset my password for my Apple Id.
But, I forgot one of the security questions.
    I follow the procedure:
    - I requested the reset-email.
    - I have access to the email registered with apple id
    - the reset-email has not arrived
    I tried couple of times.
But, below the security questions, it says it will send the reset email to the address  [email protected]
The thing is: I do NOT have any email like that registered with apple.
Is apple sending my reset-email to the wrong address??
What do I do? There is no link to report this directly to Apple, is there??
Thanks a lot to the community.
    Clarice

You need to ask Apple to reset your security questions; ways of contacting them include phoning AppleCare and asking for the Account Security team, clicking here and picking a method for your country, and filling out and submitting this form.
They wouldn't be security questions if they could be bypassed without Apple verifying your identity.
