HT201612 Do Mac's have Flash so I can put photos on EBay?
I need to put photos on EBay and my IPad doesn't have flash. Do any Mac computers have this?
Flash is available for Mac OS X but not included with 10.7 or 10.8.

You need to migrate some files to your Mac using Windows Migration Assistant. Migrate your Music folder and the folder with the photos. Then, in your Mac, you will have iTunes as you have in your old computer. After that, open iPhoto and drag the photos to it. Finally, connect your iPad to your Mac and sync it -

LR 5 - using it on a MAC-
Error message: "the following files were not imported because they could not be read (335).
I have been working with several forums and have tried all recommendations and none have worked.
I have tried reloading new LR 5 - and it worked for a short time and then stopped.
Very frustrated that I cannot talk with someone at Adobe.
The folks that have made recommendations are great but once their suggestions dont work they drop the link,
Is there someone or someplace I can take my computer to fix this issue.
It seems to be a problem between LR and Yosemite.The permissions have been changed on the destination folder where the photos are to be copied into.
You must make sure that the permissions are set to Read and Write.
Or perhaps the destination folder has been changed accidentally to something else, and you need to change it back to whatever it used to be. -
HT4946 My mac doesnt have mobilesync, so what can I do?
I cant find the mobilesync folder in Application Support.
OK, I finally found the directory. The directory is hidden so you have to either go through the terminal and type:
cd /Users/(your user name)/Library
cd "Application Support"
cd MobileSync
cd backup
Don't forget the quotes around application support of you'll get an error message. Or you can open Finder, select the GO menu, then "Go to Folder" and then type in /Users/(your user name)/Library and then you should see the application support directory. Double click that, then you should see the mobilesync directory. Double click that and you should see the backup directory. Go into that directory and you should see the backup directory. Hope this helps. -

Which photos do you want to transfer? Are they in a digital camera? a Dvd? What Macbook air model do you have?
If they are on a digital camera, just plug it to the usb port, turn it on and a window should pop up asking you if you want to import them.
If I recall correctly some macbook air models have Card readers on their side, you can use that to read the card on your camera.
In case you have them on a DVD you should use an external DVD drive or use the Remote Disk utility to borrow one from another computer. -
I have downloaded Photoshop Elements and all went well. When I went to open, it opens but the content is unreadable. I have a Mac and my flash player is up to date. Can you please tell me what I am missing?

NikkiI did try to uninstall and reinstall. It messed up my computer. I had to "RESTORE" from the prior days backup. This was not helpful at all. I'm used to losing all my stuff when I connect to iTunes, that's a whole other issue, but now I'm completely banned from any updates to my phone at all. Geeze.......

The email and password will be the ones for your computer's security, not something for any Adobe product. You might need to consult Mac customer support if you are unable to determine the required information.

I am trying to export photos from Iphoto to a folder on my desktop and seem to be unable to do this as a big X appears on the bottom of the photo and it says it can not export photo. Any ideas how to solve this problem so that I can download photos from I photo to my desktop?

You can export photos via email, a MobileMe Gallery, Flickr, Facebook, Photo Stream, iWeb, or to a burn folder but not to a folder on your Desktop or a flash drive.
Workaround is to connect the flash drive then drag the photos from your iPhoto library to the flash drive icon on the Desktop. -
I got new hard driver for my MacBook I don't have the cd but I do have flash drive that has the software I need help because when I turn on my laptop it shows me a file with question mark how can I install the software from the flash driver?
Hold down the Option key while you boot your Mac. Then, it should show you a selection of devices. Click your flash drive and it will boot from that.

Is it possible to have Flash open the menu when you right click a link?
I'm using sIFR 3 on a few of my websites. Personally I think it's a really cool and nice solution. I have had no issues with it so far except what I've recently discovered.
When you right click on a link (or control click on a mac) it should have the normal menu you'd get if you clicked on a regular HTML link. Also when you hover over the link it doesn't display the status in the status bar (i.e. the URL the link will take you to if you click it).
Anyways, I'm trying to come up with a workaround to this (personally I think the developers should have already thought of one but I guess not). That being said I'm wondering if Flash can do something like that. Is there a code I can put in the Actionscript to tell it to open up the browser menu when someone right clicks or control clicks a link?
For some reason I'm thinking this isn't possible without JavaScript but I have had some people telling me in the current version of Flash it isn't possible at all. I'd be interested in hearing everyone else's opinion.

Notice that the top navigation (and side navigation) is all done using sIFR. IF you try and right click (or control click on Mac) on one of the links you'll see nothing happens.Probleme solved without having to change anything in the flash.

I uninstalled adobe flash player from my Mac Leopard OS X 10.5.8 and need to get a new version but it asks for the 10.6 before installing and apple won't accept it or the installation is not complete. Now I have no adobe and can't access any apps period without that and the plug-in. The directions are too confusing.
Okay, a few comments... first, that tech at Future Shop has his numbers wrong. As of January of this year, according to my testing, Norton is actually only 73% protection against currently-active Mac malware. That's pretty darn bad, especially when you factor in the fact that Norton is well-known for causing problems. You may think Norton hasn't caused you any problems, but if you've had it installed for 15 years, you'd probably be shocked at how your machine would perform without it. It's probably a large part of the reason that you keep seeing that rainbow wheel cursor.
If Norton's log shows no malware, that doesn't mean Norton caught it, it means Norton never saw any malware to begin with. Which, since it's not so good at spotting it, doesn't really mean much.
Mac malware is rare enough that you've probably never seen any. However, note that running an outdated version of Flash is one of the dangerous things that could change that. Insecure versions of Flash were known earlier this year to be exploited by Mac malware. All you'd have to do is visit the wrong website and you'd be infected.
For this reason, regardless of what you do about anti-virus software, I strongly advise that you not install one of those outdated versions of Flash. If your computer is able to run Mac OS X 10.6 (Snow Leopard), you should upgrade to that system, then update it fully (Apple menu -> Software Update). Not only is there no known malware currently capable of infecting a fully up-to-date Snow Leopard system, but you'll also be able to run a more secure version of Flash.
