HT202076 Best configuration for AP Extreme express and Timecapsule

Question

Hi I've an Airport Extreme which i bought last year in living room connected to BTHub5 Bt hub wireless is disabled as need the ports for hardwiring and is where the lead from the BT box connects to bringing in the internet The Extreme is set up to create a 5Ghz only network as were all Apple fanatics Ive a 2TB Apple Capsule in family room extending the net work and used for hardwiring tv audio etc in this room with an Apple airport express in this room to extending 5GHz network also have an Apple Express upstairs extending 5GHz network
Ive seen speed of 1035mbs from Extreme to capsule and 866mbs from Extreme to Mac
But recently I've seen adip in performance across my network and wondered what the best set up would be can't do a hardwired roaming network due to cables not being able to go through walls and wondered how best to optimize this set up ? Thanks in advance

The best set up is when the AirPorts have a line-of-sight relationship with each other.
You probably won't be able to attain that goal, but try to come as close as possible.
Other than moving the AirPorts closer to each other, that is all that you can do
The Extreme is set up to create a 5Ghz only network
That may be, but the AirPort Extreme is still broadcasting a 2.4 GHz signal, as are the other AirPorts that you have there.....and this band is much more likely to pick up interference that can slow things up a bit for devices on the 5 GHz network and even over Ethernet connections.
Unfortunately, you cannot turn off the 2.4 GHz signal, so not much that you can do other than keep cordless phones as far away from the AirPorts as possible.
