HT202152 I need a receipt for a purchase I made in the App Store - where do I find it?
Apple doesn't e-mail me a receipt, apparently. The only record I see that I bought an app is in the Purchases page. What do I do if I need to file away a receipt for tax purposes?

I recently put a fresh install of OS X on my Mac after upgrading my hard drive. I've reinstalled most of my software but I'm having a hard time tracking down Aperture. I purchased it from Apple as a download prior to the app store coming into existence, and it looks like Apple has shut down the trial version which used to be the delivery mechanism. Where can I get it without having to repurchase it on the App store?There is no longer a trial version of Aperture available. Do you still have a copy of your Trial-installer somewhere on your backup? Then use that to reinstall Aperture. Or if you have a backup of your previous system (Time Machine or clone) you can try to reinstall Aperture from that using the Migration Assistant - this will spoil your clean install however.
Some posters reported, that they found Aperture in the "Purchases" section of the "AppStore" after signing into the AppStore with the AppleID they used to buy Aperture with, ready to be accepted, because they had registered their Aperture version. If you see Aperture there, simply accept it and download again.
Your only other option is to contact Apple with a "Proof of purchase" and ask for a copy of the Trial Installer.

I just bought Mountain Lion online and it started to download to my computer. I walked away and I can't find the download or the screen to see if it finished downloading from the internet yet?
It downloads to your Applications folder.

Everytime I try to purchase Mountain lion from the App store it tells me that iTunes has changed their terms and agreements, in order to proceed I need to read and agree to them, yet no pop up window appears to do just that!!

Upgrading to Snow Leopard
You can purchase Snow Leopard through the Apple Store: Mac OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard — Apple Store (U.S.). The price is $19.99 plus tax. You will be sent physical media by mail after placing your order.
After you install Snow Leopard you will have to download and install the Mac OS X 10.6.8 Update Combo v1.1 to update Snow Leopard to 10.6.8 and give you access to the App Store. Access to the App Store enables you to download Mountain Lion if your computer meets the requirements.

I just purchased Mountain Lion on the app store, put in new credit card and agreed to terms then nothing happend. How do I know if I purchased this upgrade?
Sometimes if you make a purchase for the first time, use a new billing method (ie credit card) or the App Store terms have changed, I've noticed that you need to press the "Buy" button twice for the purchase to actually go through (ie, you press Buy, you agree to the terms, and you have to press Buy again). You won't get double-charged.
You can check if the purchase is actually downloading by looking in the Purchased tab of the App Store - the Mountain Lion installer will be there if it worked. If not, try the Buy button again.

I purchased an application from the app store and the app is not working,How do I get a refund ?
First, contact the developer of the app and ask for assistance. Then if you cannot get the problem resolved, go to the following link, explain the reason for your request, including that the developer was unable to solve the problem, and ask:
