Probably not, virtually all, if not all cable boxes will have an HDMI output but not an input, you'd need both to be able to connect your Apple TV this way.

The Apple TV will work in any voltage in any location, so will the power cord if you replace the plug to one that fits the system used in your location.
Alternatively you can change the power cord for a new one, you need a C7 non polorised connector (more commonly known as a 'a figure of eight')

I tried to update my ipad software whilst connected to my computer. There was an error and now my ipad is frozen with a black screen and a white apple. it will not even power up. Help

I connected my ipad to my laptop in the hopes of dowloading some photos i needed. It invited me to back up my data and update to ios 7.0.6. After 2 hours to download the software it then tried to install it and encountered an error. The ipad is now frozen to a black screen and the apple symbol. i cannot even power it off. - iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- Try another cable
- Try on another computer
- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

Take it back to the Apple Store for repair since it's still in warranty.

If the old ID is an earlier version of your new ID, you need to temporarily recreate your old ID by going to https://appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your new iCloud ID. Click edit next to the primary email account, change it back to your old email address and save the change. You can now use your new password to turn off Find My iDevice on your device, even though it prompts you for the password for your old account ID. Then save any photo stream photos that you wish to keep to your camera roll. When finished go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account and choose Delete from My iDevice when prompted (your iCloud data will still be in iCloud). Next, go back to https://appleid.apple.com and change your primary email address back to the way it was. Now you can go to Settings>iCloud and sign in with your current iCloud ID and password.
Note: this will not work if your new ID is an entirely new ID that was never previously associated with the old email address.

I cannot get my Apple TV to connect to my Netgear router. I can get it to connect if I disable the security for the password but once I enable it it won't connect.

I have an issue with connecting to my Netgear router. I have tried a lot of different options on my router but the only way I can get it to connect is to disable my security password and I don't want to leave my network exposed without a password. I have tried resetting, updating my software and restarting the Apple TV. I just bought this last week and haven't gotten to use it yet.
