The phrase "an error has occurred" appears next to the app when I try to download Lion.

- Make sure your Mac meests the requirements > System requirements for OS X Mountain Lion
- Disable anti virus software if installed.
- Make sure there's enough free space to install Mountain Lion.
Right or control click the MacintoshHD icon on your Desktop then click Get Info. You'll see Available and Capacity
Make sure there's at least 15% free disk space.
- Verify and if necessary repair any errors on the startup disk before upgrading > Using Disk Utility to verify or repair disks

The problem was solved by Apple Technical Help. The process is as flollows:
1. Open Safari
2. Menu item Safari-Reset Safari - remove all website data - reset
3. Now if you try to login on iTunes connect it will work.

3194 means that iTunes cannot contact the update server to verify the update. This can happen if the servers are being over loaded, or if the hosts file on your computer has been modified. HINT: This can also happen if your iPod was ever jail broken...

I purchased the update to Mac OS X Lion (10.7) for my MacBook running 10.6.8. When I attempt to download I receive the message "An error has occurred" (see attached screenshot).

I had the exact same problem. Worked fine for a couple days then suddenly getting this error. I fixed it, however.
Do this:
Open the App Store app on your phone.
Go to the "Featured" section.
Scroll to the very bottom of the page and click on your Apple ID.
Screen pops up. Choose "Sign out".
Scroll to the bottom of the "Featured" section again.
Sign back in.
Try your download again.
This worked for me. Good luck!

An error has occurred when trying to download Mavericks from the AppStore, why?

I have an update available from the appstore to upgrade from my OS X Lion 10.7.5 to OS X Mavericks, but every time i click on the free upgrade button i get a message on the side of it that says an error has occured. Yet it does say what type of error. And i see it in the launch pad and it says "waiting". How do i fix this?
I have a iMac from mid 2011 with 4bg of mem, 2.7 GHZ intel core processor i5, and graphics AMD Radeon HD 6770M 512MB.
Can someone help me out here?

What can I do to get around the problem regarding the downloading of the upgrade to iTunes? I get a message "an error has occured........."

An error has occurred when trying to download os x mavericks?

So I tried to continue the download of os x mavericks on my computer and it said to go to the purchases page which I did and it said an error has occured. I have no clue what this means or where to go from here.

☞ In the Finder, select Go ▹ Utilities from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.
☞ Open LaunchPad. Click Utilities, then Console in the icon grid.
Make sure the title of the Console window is All Messages. If it isn't, select All Messages from the SYSTEM LOG QUERIES menu on the left. If you don't see that menu, select

from the menu bar.
Click the Clear Display icon in the toolbar. Then try the action that you're having trouble with again. Select any messages that appear in the Console window. Copy them to the Clipboard by pressing the key combination command-C. Paste into a reply to this message (command-V).

Why am I getting an unknown error has occurred when trying to download apps

For the past 12 hours I have been getting a message, 'an error has occurred' when trying to update any existing apps or downloading any new apps. Anybody experiencing the same thing or know what I can do?

Were you able to find a solution to this issue? I am also getting the 'an error has occurred' message when trying to download or update any apps on my iPhone. Restarted, updated, re-booted, etc etc, nothing has worked.

SCCM 2012 Install :An error has occurred while attempting to download or verify required pre....

This is not the first time I am installing SCCM 2012 :) , however stuck at this one for some time now.
I have a lab where SCCM 2012 pre-reqs were downloaded during setup and SCCM 2012 has been installed fine.
We are doing another install for this client however SCCM download fails as ISA blocks it. Therefore we are trying to use the old setup files which were previously downloaded. However, this does not work (Files under e:\SCCM...). The log still refers to
downloading the file from the internet.
