I am trying to sync a book i purchased in itunes to my iphone and ipad in the ibooks so I can stop and hold my place. I did a regular sync and it did not convert, can anyone help?

Did you do the regular sync wirelessly or via iTunes on your computer? There are a couple ways to get the book on your devices.
You can connect to your computer and open iTunes. When your device is recognized click it once to open it. Click on the Books Tab in iTunes and check the book you want to sync. Click Apply, then Sync and the book will be on that device.
You can open iBooks on your device and click on Store, then Purchased and either all or Not on this iPad and download the book on your device.

They don't normally appear in the download screen ... until I attempt to download another movie. Then they just start appearing. If you click edit - a normal movie download has a circle that appears on the left hand side that allows you to select and delete ... these movies don't have that option so you need to find the movie in you list (under movies) and select the download cloud symbol again to stop it downloading ...you may need to do this a number of times before it stops for a while ... or until you try to download a movie then it starts all over again.
i have logged out of my itunes account. restarted the iPad, removed all movies, restarted the iPad, logged back into my iTunes account and restarted my iPad .... but as soon as I tried to download a single movies ... the other movies started appearing in the downloads again.

HT1751 I have tried to download the book, "How Jesus became God" by Bart Ehrman. When I tried to download again it states downloaded but when I try to open up the bood tis stats, "It is formatted incrrectly or is not a fomra that ibooks can open"

I have tried to download the book, How Jesus became God" by Bark Ehrman. Even though IBook states download and I have the icon for the book in my library when I try to open the book I get the message, " It is formatted incrrectly, or is not a format that iBooks can open". This is even though I purchased the book through IBooks and the IOS is adequate.

Trying to download a book from iBooks.

I'm trying to download a book from iBooks (latest version) on my 3Gs (latest software). The book is Matthew Reilly's "Seven Deadly Wonders".
When tapping on it to go to the download page in iBooks it takes quite awhile and then takes to a screen that says, "Seven Deadly Wonders is available for download in iBooks."
But no Buy button. Just buttons, "Learn more about iOS 4" and "Learn more about iBooks"
Anybody else see this?

You can re-download content purchased from the iBook store (availability varies depending on location) using the purchased option from the Quick Links section in the top right corner of the iTunes homepage in your iTunes application on your computer.
You can re-download content purchased from the iBook store (availability varies depending on location) using the purchased option at the bottom of the screen after you tap the store button in the top corner of the iBook app on your iOS device.
If the problem re-occurs, select the content which is causing a problem and use the 'Report a problem' button in Your Purchase History using your computer.

Tried to download a book from the app store and didn't upload but 14 pages

Delete the book from the iPad and download it again, directly from the iPad, not your computer. You will not be charged again for the download. See if the complete book downloads then. If not, either email Apple at the store or call the number they provide under support.

Hi I had a similar issue to you, I could connect to the router but no internet. Here is my explanation of how I sorted it.....I hope this works for you.
*To anyone that is reading this it appears that the problem lay in the airport setting: IPV6: set to 'Automatically'. I turned it off (after reading someones plight on MacFixIt) & everything is back to normal.*
*The worrying thing is although my problem was extreme with other computers on the network being locked out nothing was changed, one minute it worked the next it didn't. Reading on other forums it appears to be a problem with laptops (but I could be mistaken). A lot of people on the Macfixit forum are complaining of network just dropping out even when they are next to the router.*
*I hope this is the fix (although I dont know why it suddenly went to sh*t!) & I hope my hair pulling & trawling the forums can help someone else out.*

I have this same problem. The album shows available to download from the cloud, but the 3 remaining songs won't download. The songs happen to be the first 3 songs on the album. The purchase & initial download was initiated via 3G; the rest of the songs were downloaded via WiFi. I have over 20GB of storage available on my iPhone, so it's not a capacity issue.
