just upgraded to OS X Mountain Lion, and love the new features.
one question - now that reminders are separated out from the calendar app - you can share calendars with another person, can you share reminder lists?

thanks to David C. Menzel for the excellent suggestion. this workaround is fine - it will be great if this can be added to the native app, or on the iphone app, but doing it on the iCloud web interface is just fine.
i appreciate the help!!
(this sharing functionality is finally allowing my family to dump the google calendars that we were sharing, which sometimes lacked full functionality. i'm happier on the Mac apps!)

I love the way Google Tasks show up in Google Calendar. It just makes sense: A task has to be done on a certain day, and I look in my calendar for the daily things that I will do.
Back in the day Reminders were a part of iCal, though I don't remember them linking up with certain days in my calendar (correct me if I'm wrong). But now they are completely separate. If Google Tasks wasn't virtually dead, I'd just use that. But if Apple is already doing a good job of making Reminders and Calendar work together, then I won't have to, and that'll be one more consideration on the internal debate I've got going on labeled "Should I give in to iCloud".
Since Google already has this as a web app, I'm sure you can see that I'm referring to desktop solutions. This is because Internet connection here (in Indonesia) and in other countries is not always as good as in the US.
So, does anyone know how I can get Apple Reminders to show up, on the day they're due, in my Apple Calendar? This would be a great relief.

How to Share Reminders Lists

Hi,
I have a quick question regarding the sharing of Reminders lists. The biggest part is I can't figure out how to do it. Though I've found many tutorials that say that there should be a section of the Calendar app on iCloud that shows lists in your Reminders app I don't see anything in the Calendar app that shows my lists.
When I log into iCloud online I see there's two apps, one for Calendars and one for Reminders. Though I see the 'share' button for calendars in the Calendars app I don't see any 'share' button in the Reminders app. And because the Reminders lists aren't being shown in the Calendar app I can't share from there either. I've checked on two different computers (a PC at work and my Mac at home OS8) as well as on my iPad and it's the same across the board.
Hopefully this is enough information. Seems like a simple question but I guess it has a more complex answer.
As an example. I'd like to create a grocery list and then send an invite to my wife's iPhone so she can share and edit that same list. She has her own iCloud account.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Apparently the only place where this function is available as of today is Mountain Lion 10.8.2. Provide feedback to Apple that this function needs to be returned to icloud.com, or at a minimum added to iOS 6.

Can I share a bluetooth headset with my iPhone 4 and my Mac?

Can I share a bluetooth headset with my iPhone 4 and my Mac? I don't mean both at the same time. I just think it's silly to buy a separate headset for each. I'd like to be able to sometimes use the headset with my Mac and other times use it with my iPhone. Is this possible? How hard is it to set up and is it annoying to switch over from one to the other.
The headset would be used 75% of the time with my iPhone.

Contacts can be synced direct with Outlook 2003, 2007, or 2010 via the iTunes sync process along with syncing calendar events, notes, and reminders. This is selected under the Info tab for your iPhone sync preferences with iTunes.
If you don't use Outlook for contacts - your Outlook address book is empty, before the first sync for this data enter one contact in the Outlook address book. This will provide a merge prompt with the first sync for this data.
Or if your iPhone 4 is running iOS 6, you can create your hotmail account using the hotmail account preset with the iPhone's Mail app per the instructions included with this link. If your iPhone 4 is not running iOS 6, you will need to manually create the account as an Exchange account.

Regardless if you have any contacts available in your hotmail online address book, you should be provided a merge prompt when turning contacts on for over the air syncing with your hotmail account settings on the iPhone, which you want to select. Share reminders lists now that app is outside?

I used to share reminders on icloud.com by finding the list on my calendar app. There was this feed icon and after clicking it you could send the invitation to share the reminders list, now icloud has the reminder app outside the calendar one and I can't find no feed icon.
Does anyone know how to share reminders lists now? I use them a lot in the office with coworkers and with family.

Are you sharing your iCloud calendar with someone? If so, just create an event reminding everyone of the upcoming event.
Otherwise, you can also share a reminders list with another iCloud user, as explained here: http://help.apple.com/icloud/#mm4bb3fa6e. Then create the reminder that you want to share.

You aren't supposed to, other people don't want your reminders, if they do then you are using reminders instead of calendar, which can share calendars.

How can i share my ITunes library with 2 IPhones?

My wife and i each have administrator rights on our accounts and both have an IPhone 3G. How can i share the single ITunes library on our MacBook so that the music is synced when we connect our IPhones.

Drag your \Music\iTunes\ folder to the Shared directory.In the Finder, right click - get info.
Go to *Sharing & Permissions* tab and make sure everyone has Read/Write permissions and click the Gear and *Apply to enclosed items*.
Hold Option and launch iTunes.
Select *Choose library* and select the _iTunes library file_ in the \Shared\iTunes\ folder.
Log out and your wife logs in.

If hse has music in her iTunes library that was not in your , sh eFile -> Add to library and select those items in her \Music\iTunes\iTunes media folder.

Plug them in and use them.
That is all you need to do.
In the answer from Apple I do not find anything about how the 2 exisiting iTunes accounts will be handled.
They will be handled fine.
All purchases from both iTunes accounts can be sync'd to both/either iPads with no problem.
I have three iTunes accounts (me and two daughters), 3 iPhones, an iPad and a few iPods.
Any/all content can be sync'd to any device, no problems.

Welcome to the Apple Community.
To begin with, I would like to try to explain Apple's confusing nomenclature in regard to iCloud.
Apple have called the whole cloud thing iCloud, there are a number of features under the iCloud umbrella, some of which require their own login. iTunes is one of these, another is what Apple have unfortunately also called iCloud.
You can use the same Apple ID (account) to login to both iCloud and iTunes, but you don't need to and often users will login to each service using a different ID.
The part that you need to remember is that the services available when you log into iCloud are completely different and unrelated to those when you log in to iTunes. Your iCloud login enables mail, contacts, calendars, find my phone, Back to My Mac, Documents & Data sharing and photosstream, it does not affect any of your iTunes services.
To avoid confusion when discussing your problem, when I mention iCloud, I am referring to the services under the iCloud login, Whereas I will refer to the whole cloud thing as The Cloud.
If only one of you purchases content from iTunes (this includes Books and apps too) then I suggest you use that account for each of you for iTunes only.
