I have been looking around to buy some new effects and transitions for FCP, but most are not compatible, which is mind boggling because I see Programs like SOny Vegas being supported and not final cut pro.

How can I get a refund from another country that does not have an Apple Store?
While going to the US for the summer, I went to the San Francisco Apple Store.
I saw the Apple Gift Cards, and I was wondering if they would work on my Taiwan Apple ID, so I bought a $25 gift card and a 4 cards bundle pack each with $10 inside.
But then now, coming back to Taiwan, I realised the gift cards was only valid for US users so I asked for support from Apple
and this is what they replied:
I understand that you are unable to redeem the gift card to your account, the card purchased in another country. I know you must be eager to get this issue resolved at the earliest. I can do my best to help you.
Jonathan, I'm sorry to inform you that, iTunes Gift Cards are only redeemable in the iTunes Store for the country that is listed on the back of the card. I apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

There is only resellers in Taiwan, so there is no way I could get a refund from Taiwan
so what should I do in order to get my money back?

You can't officially buy an Apple product as far as Apple is concerned, in the Ukraine if Apple says that there are no Apple Authorized venders in the Ukraine.
Here (in Ukraine) are official Apple's service centers, as like as in Belarus and Russia.
According to Apple there are no Apple Authorized Serve Providers in the Ukraine.

And why should I care about those kinda "support lists"?
Because those lists are the official Apple statement of the state of affairs in your country. If you country is not on the list then Apple has no legal or official obligation to you or any products that you have managed to buy in the Ukraine.

So, the charge is the phone call connection fee from Indonesia to malay, but the facetime next is free. -

EASY SEARCH THROUGH FRIENDS LIST BY COUNTRY AND OR STATE NOT JUST ALPHABET !
Well my Idea is simple and basic I have almost 3000 friends and sometimes want to search them by area or state instead of alphabet , example if IM in GA I should be able to see all of the friends from that state instead of trudging through each letter to see who lives in the state , it would be helpful quick and convenient to allow users to have more options when searching through there friends list by different criteria such as age gender or most important area or State that would be extremely helpful and cut down on the amount of times I have to sift through my friends , so if IM in NY I can go to my friends list and there will be a list of state that I have friends in I can then click on that and then I can see all of the people that are my friends in that area, that would be awesome. ThanksSince that password is tied to his Apple ID, you will need to contact Apple; as far as I know, it will be a somewhat lengthy procedure and you will need to furnish necessary paperwork (including a death certificate as far as I know). Best to either stop at an Apple store or call them to find out exactly what it is you need to do.

My list "Tasks" has an record with Title = "Build SSIS for Duke Energy" and its ID is 1. Then I have a list "Journal" where I have tracked entries related to the progress of the task. When I create the Journal entries I passed
in the ID of the task 1 which then pulled the title into the Journal's Associated task lookup column. Now I'd like to have a column in the Tasks list that would have a URL to take me to all journal entries related to the Task. But passing in the ID 1 of the
task does not work.
If the lookup column has the actual Title from the task in all the time and it is not dynamically pulled every time the list is queried shouldn't I be able to filter on the Title e.g. "Build
SSIS for Duke Energy"I ended up going with a workflow to build the URL and sending the title to the look-up column.
I tried the script at that site and ran into several problems. It didn't work with views that were grouped, the calculated links did not show on the edit and view forms. I assume those forms would have to be changed to run the script also.
In addition to, I have to add a CEWP to each view and I was also losing the "Items" and "List" options (next to "Browse") from the ribbon until I clicked around in the list.
What are the downfalls of a workflow? I ask because many people default to using a similar TextToHTML script like you mentioned. -
Remember the days when you were looking for that metallica song... you kind of knew the name... so you start typing it in the search, and that BIG WELL of music would whittle down with every character typed? the search covered titles, artists, genres, ANYTHING that was displaying. I know a lot of folks HATED this dynamic, but let's face it, it worked, and it worked WELL. And Apple's had us all get used to that dynamic for over a DECADE.
I get that times need to move foreward, but they went WAYYYYYYY too far with how the simple search box works now(upper right one) ... The columns of Title, Album, Artist, are still there, but they drastically change the layout and presentation with everything you search for... and newsflash, NOT EVERY SONG BELONGS TO A GENRE OR ALBUM OR ARTIST....
I'm the kind of guy that doesnt allow itunes to attempt to copy eveything into hundreds of folders. I already have it all pretty well organized...Lots of my music are soundbytes that I just had in the main widow of iTunes. Sure they'd be buried in the thousands of other songs, but with a click of a key I could get to it... now iTunes ONLY seems to try searching things that are in albums, genres, labeled so specifically that I would have to take a month off JUST to start catalogging my music the way iTunes wants... Even THEN only showing me a small number of choices in the search bar .... like "Do you want these 4 songs you DIDNT search in the invisible queue next?" "Did you mean all this other sh*t that you DIDNT search for?" **** I used to be able to find almost ANY song with like 3 keystrokes. if I type in "Zelda" ... (looking for that obscure live Zelda acoustic I recorded with my phone that I dont have the band name to) It suggests EVERYTHING else BUT that song... whereas before it would just list the 20 or so ANYTHINGS I have loaded into itunes with that string of letters in it.
Anyone else seem to have this issue? Is the OLD easy to search buried in the furthest preference trenches to TRY to weed out old dogs such as myself, who were able to master the crappy UI iTunes has neglected to give a **** about in the past?Please try the action I supplied in my post.

Then type in your search term it will give the list of songs in the main window -

Let's say I have a Task named "Build SSIS for Duke Energy" and it has another column called Active. Now every day I look at my task list and If I worked on that task I want to create a Journal entry of what I have done. So from the Task
list I'd like a third column that calls the "Journal Entry" list's new form page and pass it in the ID of the task. I have found several TextToHtml scripts out there, but they have to be stored in a script library, and then sourced to a content
editor web part. The problem is they don't fire when I have my list grouped. In addition to, every time someone creates a new view, I have to go in and add the Content Editor web part, point to the script....

If you only want to add a hyperlink to create a Journal entry in the task list, I recommend to add a Hyperlink column in the task list and then create workflow to update the column.
You can follow the steps as below:
Open the task list, add a hyperlink column named Create Journal Entry.
Create a workflow associated to the task list, start the workflow automatically when an item is created.
Add actions as below:
Then when a task is created in the task list, the workflow will be stared automatically to update the “Create Journal Entry” column.
