How do I combine everything from my deceased husband's one or more Apple IDs into my own 1 Apple ID ( preferably my current Apple ID)? I want to maintain it all under 1 Apple ID; the data and access includes iTunes/Apps store purchases and major OS upgrade purchases, iCloud access and storage, and multiple email addresses. (I want to be able to reflect these references to his previous email addresses in my own Apple ID, if at all possible!). Going back and forth between 2 different login/accesses on the same MacBook Pro is frustrating and confusing.
[I also need to do the same with all access to his files that he created and that are maintained on the hard drive and back up; Any suggestions are welcomed! ]
Could someone let me know if this is possible and if so, how best to initiate this migration?

No. Apple only offers 5 GB of free iCloud storage for all your devices, no matter how many you have got. If you need more iCloud storage, purchase storage.

You can each have your own ID for your own iTunes accounts, but in order for a device to stream via AirPlay to the same Apple TV, everything must use the same homesharing ID. This is not the same as your iTunes account ID (although it can be for one of the devices)

What version of iPhoto?
Select one and rotate it. Then rotate it back. Does that make it appear?
A much better work flow is the keep the photos after importing. Check the success the import, wait for at least one successful backup cycle then use you camera's format command to reformat the card

I have multiple devices, iphone 5s (myself), mini ipad (son), 5th generation ipod (daughter). When I receive imessages they are going to the other devices and not my phone. Is this because I have all devices set up on the same Apple User ID or am I missing something in Settings that needs to be turned on/off? I have all devices under the same User ID to control the purchases. Now I'm thinking maybe each device needs to have it's own User ID and if I switch them now, will we all still share the same apps and music? Any help or suggestions is greatly appreciated.

Wouldn't you only need to create a new apple ID and put that on your phone instead of your old apple ID that is merged?

And to make matters worse it didn't back up on my external hard drive so I would like to get all the music I purchased from iTunes back on to my new computer. Whether or not you'll be able to depends on what country you're in, and whether the music is still available in the iTunes Store.

Hi Currently having single Apple ID for my iPad, iPhone 4S and iPhone 5. Can i have a separate Apple ID for my iPhone 4S and iPhone 5. At the moment since the apple id are same the contact are getting sync between the 2 phones which i don't want to be in Sync.Will having two separate apple ID solve the issue or is there any setting that i need to make.. Pls suggest

Yes, you can certainly create a new Apple ID at appleid.apple.com (which will have to be associated with a different email address from your current ID) and then change the various settings and applications on one of your iPhones to use this new ID.

I changed my Apple ID and now the iPhone iCloud won't recognize it.

I changed my Apple ID after changing email adresses. My iPhone 5 recognizes the new ID for iTunes etc. but when I try to access iCloud from it, the phone won't let me access my account. It tries to get mwoe to sign on with my old ID and I can't figure out how to change it!

I have the same problem, Apple told me to change the apple id back to the old email address and then I would be able to log into icloud on my phone. Once you remove it from your phone through the settings menu you should be able to activate a new one once you have changed your apple id back to your new one.
Mine didn't work as I had "special characters" included in my old ID and apple still haven't told me how to rectify.

If you can't remember the password for your old ID you can reset the password as explained here: http://support.apple.com/kb/PH2617. If you can't reset the password yourself, you can contact the Apple account security team for your country for assistance: Apple ID: Contacting Apple for help with Apple ID account security. Before doing any of that, make sure it's asking for your ID and not someone else's ID. It will require the ID that was used to activate the phone originally. If you aren't the original owner, only they can help. You have to either get the ID and password from them, or have them erase the phone and remove it from their account as explained here: Find My iPhone Activation Lock: Removing a device from a previous owner’s account so you can reactivate it using your own ID.

What do I do if I went to the apple website and downloaded the itunes for ios7 and it wont show up on my itunes and keeps telling me to get the newest version?

I have tried to dowload the newest itunes for IOS7 twice now but every time I go back to my itunes it doesnt show up. I check for updates and it tells me that its up to date but its not. Everytime I plug my phone in which is updated to the IOS7 it tells me to go to the apple website to download it.

Actually, this can be done without merging Apple IDs, as I found just by trying this out: I went into the support profile for the Apple ID that had only my Mac listed. I then chose to disassociate the Mac from that Apple ID. I signed out and signed in using my other Apple ID (the one with all my other Apple devices). I chose to add/register a new device, entered my Mac's serial number, and now it is associated with all my other Apple devices under a single Apple ID. No merger of Apple IDs required.

Apple IDs cannot be merged. You should use your preferred Apple ID from now on, but you can still access your purchased items such as music, movies, or software using your other Apple IDs.
